This was my 1st pair of birkenstocks and purchased them based on reviews. After wearing them a couple of days my feet were sore. On the 4th day my right foot got swollen right on the arch. However as stubborn as i was i wore them again the next day, I figured, no pain no gain right. I've heard that it takes a little while for the soles to mold to your feet but once they did they would be the most comfortable shoes ever. So I ignored the pain. I work 8hrs a day, on the 7th day of wearing them I noticed they started to feel comfortable. They had actually molded to my feet. I come home after work and my feet are no longer sore like they used to be when I wore other shoes. Now for the kicker, I read some reviews about sweaty feet and smelly shoes. I figured that was probably just them, and since I've never had sweaty or smelly feet that I wouldn't have an issue with it. I was wrong, my feet get a little smelly now. Not too bad but I can smell them. So it wasnt stinky reviewers lol it's the shoes that make your feet sweat. Overall i love these shoes. They truly are the most comfortable shoes ever (after the torture from the 1st week). So now I've ordered me some sandals. I'm a believer now. Give them a try and you'll love them too.

I have been having new problems with a heel spur and plantar fasciitis. I used to wear Danskos in the operating room but switched to these. These feel so much better on my heel - the arch support is excellent! I can be standing for hours and my heel does not bother me.

These shoes felt more like a boot than a shoe. They were stiff to walk in and are very roomy. The innersole had no support,( that's why I buy a Birkenstock shoe). They would be perfect for walking in the wet conditions in the winter, but not for walking around generally.

Do NOT buy these shoes if you are expecting the comfort of a traditional Birkenstock. I walk 10,000+ steps at work during 12 hour shifts and with these shoes & the ball of my foot aches, I can feel every bone. I purchased these thinking they would be like my Linz Birkenstocks which have the traditional cork foot-bed and served me well without any foot pain for 4 years! The polyurethane shell of this shoe does not conform to your foot like a traditional Birkenstock and the provided liner is not as thick as a traditional corkbed. I am sure these shoes are superior to most brands but if you are expecting traditional Birkenstock support you might be disappointed

There are very heavy compared to my other clogs.

Super comfortable and great for the kitchen. Size was quite large but didn't realize it for a while. I would have gone for at least one size smaller.

Wide and short. These felt too big, like they were flopping around on my foot but if I’d go a size down then they’d be too short. Was really hoping they’d fit. Looking for a lighter work clog and this wasn’t it.

On your feet all day and want comfort, go for the Birkis! They are excellent. Folks who feel they are too large may not be accustom to clogs. Your toes and heals should NOT be touching the upper of the shoe. The additional space allows for air flow which helps to keep feet dry and happy. Don’t buy if you’re looking for high fashion. For that they are not wonderful, but while I’m at work for 24-48 hrs at a clip, im not looking for fashion.

Not like the original Birkenstock from years past.. we have been wearing these clogs for over 14 years.. hope they last as long!! And you keep selling them with no additional changes in quality!! My wife and I have been wearing Birkenstocks for over 25 years and we love them and Zappos customer s Service is wonderful to deal with!!

I wear size 11 EEE, this clog fit well in size 44 (US Men's 11) Regular width. Very good for use in an Operating Room/Emergency Department setting.

Not the cutest shoe, but it’s for work so I don’t care so much. I have been experiencing plantar fasciitis for a while now. I wore these on two of my weekend shifts and it was gone!! If you have plantar fasciitis I highly recommend these shoes!!

This is my 4th pair of these Birks. I'm a chef, on my feet for way to many hours a day!!! I don't have any problems with my feet when I wear these shoes. I always have a new pair and an old pair to swap off daily. Try them, you wont be sorry!

THE ULTIMATE SHOE Since I am ordering my third pair, it is time to submit a review. This shoe has taken me through plantar fascitis, sprains, miniscus and knee replacement, dashing through airports, protecting my soles from espinas de maguey coming through, uneven cobblestone streets and lizards and rattlesnakes. What more can I ask of any shoe? This time I am replacing the black shoe which I had glued back together two years ago after my son's puppy chewed the heel off. The glue held for two years, so it is time for a new pair. They slip on and off easily to dash out the door when a fire comes up the canyon, or to greet someone at the door, and are great when the ground is wet or muddy. Then you can wipe the mud off, go to town and look spiffy and the shoes don't let on where they have been and the adventures they have been through. Everyone would think you are wearing normal shoes, but these are far beyond the normal shoe!

Great shoe overall although but they do take some time to get used to if you've never worn Birkenstocks before. I have sandals in a size 42 that fit just right but had to go up in size with the clogs as I have a wide foot and the 42's were just too tight.

I love these shoes. I’ve been wearing Super Birki Clogs for over 20 years. I wear them every day at work. I’m a cook and spend long hours on wet greasy floors. These shoes have excellent non slip soles, they have great arch support, very comfy, and call me crazy but I really like how they look. (Full disclosure; I also have a brown pair that I wear on my days off.) A cool feature is that they’re really easy to clean and sanitize: since they’re made from molded rubber/plastic you can remove the cork insole and hand wash them or send them through the dishwasher. These shoes really hold up well; every few years I replace them when the cork starts to wear through and the non slip soles start to wear down, but I always hang onto the old pair for stuff like gardening and yard work. I highly recommend!

Years ago I had a pair of Super Birkis and was hoping to replace them. Unfortunately, these are not like the old model. First, the back is higher which is a bit annoying when walking as the shoe is loose and the high back scratched by heel. The shoe overall feels much floppier than the original as well - maybe wider and heavier? Something about it is just not right. Additionally, the arch support is only moderate compared the support I feel in my leather sandals and clogs. Bring back the old Super Birki!

I work in a family practice office and I am on my feet ALL day. I was struggling with horrible feet pain, and within 2 days of wearing these, I have absolutely no more pain! I will never buy any other kind of work shoe!

These are huge! I ordered up a size because of the European sizing but am really disappointed because my feet swim in them! I have been experiencing increase leg and back pain, so I am on a quest to find the right work shoe for standing long hours ( I am an RN). My Dansko's have been failing lately also :(

Still trying to break them in. The shoes ar3 roomy, but seem a tad small.

These were HUGE! Could not be worn in a hospital environment that requires your heel to be covered.

Because my foot is weird... toe next to big toe is the longest toe -- these just didn't fit. So I have to return them. If it weren't for this quirk, they would have fit perfectly.

Overall I really like this shoe. Great for a work clog. I bought them because I wanted more of a real shoe for around the house instead of a traditional slipper. They would have been great for that but I have narrow feet and these were just too wide so I'm returning them.
