These shoes look great and get me lots of compliments. Unfortunately, fit could be better- they seem to run narrow, and as they're boots, any excess length becomes annoying after a while. Still like them though.

casual dress

My shoes fit well and are reasonably comfortable - I'm sure they'll be more so with some wearing. I've worn Florsheim shoes much of my life and I must say that I am disappointed that a reputable and long-standing company as Florsheim is making its products in a foreign country. Not good - America first!

I purchased a pair of the white Duke boots. They appear to be well made, fit true to size and look very nice. The only possible negative is that the leather sole is a bit thin and may wear out sooner than it should.

This is the second pair of Duke boots I have owned. The first pair lasted for more than 30 years. The quality of the new pair I recently purchased was excellent. The new pair was too loose around the instep and close to the toes. I have a very low instep and flat foot, which caused the boot not to fit snug enough....too bad, because I love the boots.

Today, I'm giving these Duke dress boots a GENEROUS 4 STARS, almost 3 stars, was 5 stars in the past. I love the style, the heel, and the durability. I have owned many pairs of these boots and haven't stopped buying. HOWEVER, Duke boots today are not the same as when I bought them 6+ years ago. In 2013, I bought a 9 3E, which was great, but always thought it was a tad too short in length. I recently bought two new pairs of Duke's (different colors) in a 9.5 3E -- to get a little bit more on length, and my feet were swimming in the boots. Huge difference for just a 1/2 inch in length. Disappointed and confused, I returned the boots, awaiting for my exchange of 9.5 D boots. I truly need these to work.

Have not worn these shoes much, the sole of shoe is very slick and I am afraid of falling. The shoe looks nice and does fit.

These boots are for daily casual and dress use. The soft leather upper is very comfortable and has a brilliant shine. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because my feet are narrow and they only come in D width. I have inserted arch supports and foam inserts to compensate and it works okay.

Been wearing a new pair of Duke's every year since I was 15. I love them. Only problem is the wear is pretty quick.

Have been using this product for more than 16 years. What pains me is that you have discontinued this product in India. Had to take pains to get it. The shipping charges are very high.The cost becomes double by the time it reaches India.

The boots are great, but, it took four phone calls to finally reach someone to place the order, i almost gave up trying to place the order

Wear as a winter shoe but the sole is slick so added non-slip stick-on to sole which helps in rainy weather as well

Boots are a Little smaller than earlier ones bought. I have been wearing these boots for over 30 year with no problem. I have a pair purchased in 2005 and are still wearable.

When I use the right size of boot it is for going to church.

This is my second pair of Florsheim Dukes. While they appear to be the same, they are not. The first pair was very snug at first but eventually loosened up. I thought of getting a bit larger size this time to compensate, however I did not. I am glad I didn't because this pair is on the loose side. A nice pair of thick socks are required, but they are still a great looking pair of boots.

Good fit. Soles require some breaking in as they are very slick on smooth surfaces. Need to purchase a cushioned insert to be comfortable for long periods. Great look. Not made in USA, which is a shame.

I bought three pairs of dukes, Black, Brown as you see, And Grey, They came on time as they said. I've always have bought the dukes they are a classic half boot that is comfortable on my feet and great for dancing, (slide nice) Chuck 6/28/17

I cannot remember how long I have been wearing these boots for dress but when they were hard to find I decided to try your website and was successful. I found the black on your web but had to order the wild cherry in my size from Rogan shoes online. I will go to your website next time first since the order was placed immediately and shipped,,thank you,,ken
