The sole is very thin. You can feel a thin dime if stepped on.

I am so disappointed. I have been a loyal Duke wearer for years. The Duke has been my favorite shoe for the better part of a decade. I don't know what has happened at Florsheim but the quality is not what it used to be. I purchased a pair, wore them a few times, and the sole started to crack and separate from the toe. I complained to Florsheim which was actually good and sent me a gift card. I then used the gift card to buy another pair of Duke boots. Well, I've worn the replacement pair a handful of times and again, there's already separation at the toe. I've looked high and low to find a comparable replacement shoe as I feel I can't invest in the Duke any longer. I'm at the point now, I'll pay a company if they can custom make me a similar shoe as the Duke truly is my favorite. Perhaps Florsheim needs to think about making one with a rubber sole for durability.

I've been buying Florsheim 'Duke' boots for years and have never had any problems until lately. Your quality has dropped dramatically . . . boots squeak, zippers don't work, soles come apart.

I have been wearing the same type of boot from Florshem for about 15 years. Do you still make a product that will fit and has a composite sole?

The above boot's size does not run in comparison to all the other boots. I order all my boots from you and have never had a problem like this. They were about an inch too short and very narrow. It was so small I could not even force my foot into it. We wondered if it may have been sized incorrectly.

I wear nothing but these Florsheim boots. I have extremely high arches and no other footwear supports my feet as well. I am usually impressed with Florsheim durability but these boots are not wearing well.

The Boot, I've worn this for very quite long, but I've been using it everyday to work. and every single day the sole began to wore out. This boot is best used for a once in a while use like going to weddings and such. Because this isn't the best one I've owned so far.
Another thing is, if you are going to a local retailer, and you select this boot, make sure that the boot is not tight but a little loose, take me for example, I'm a size 10.5, according to the boot I'm actually a size 10, but the retailer said that the boot must be tight, and it hurts like hell, but to him, I think he's not professional because the boot is tight enough, I had to buy it because he only had that in stock and he claimed that the boot size I planned to take was not in stock. and I need it badly because I need the shoe for my presentation, just for appearence and such. Yet, it's worse, then leather came off, sole is ruined, and now just a total loss... what a rip-off, for $150. so If you are going to buy this make sure it's loose a bit because I'll buy another pair but this time I'll use my mind and argue this guy, because he has no idea why I'm furious about the first pair.
