My second pair! I love the simple design of this comfortable boot--I walked miles the first day I wore my first pair! It fits snugly enough around the foot (I'm a 9N) and calf so that I can wear it with dresses and skirts without feeling clunky. I now own two pairs because I love the look and comfort. I would definitely recommend.

Awesome Boots, Comfortable and Easy On/Off - I had recently hurt my ankle on one foot and my little toe on the other foot and finding comfortable shoes/boots has been SO hard and very expensive. These boots are so comfortable. They pull right on and the material is kind of stretchy and forms right to the calves. Pulling them off is easy because you can just pull the fabric down around your calves and then pull them off. It's so soft and pliable, but doesn't slouch. First time I ever had a fabric like this on a boot. They are awesome!!

Great boot! Love this boot. Comfy, but stylish. Nice heel, but not too high. It’s great for my skinny calves - although it does not fit snug on them. Most boots swallow up my stick legs and this one doesn't.

Love this boot - This is so amazingly comfortable and fits my calf so well that I immediately ordered it in the other color. It should be a fantastic all-purpose boot for fall and winter with pants or skirts. Because the other reviews were so favorable, I ordered the first pair although my size, according to the Rieker chart, was unavailable. I usually wear a European 37, but Rieker indicated that 38 was what would work for me. I'm glad that I did, because the fit is perfect.

Fabulous Quality Boot That Fits my Calves - I can't tell you how long I've been searching for a boot that fits my calves comfortably (my legs are too big for a regular fit, but gap terribly in "wider calf" styles). These fit the ticket as they don't pinch and roll on like socks. They aren't heavy like leather…and don't make your calf sweat like a lined leather boot (so you can wear them in early autumn as well as winter & spring). I was apprehensive about pleather vinyl as I think it's cheesy...but I trust Rieker as they are a high quality German brand, so I tried them. I'm so glad! They look sleek and appropriate with gauchos and casual skirts and are very, very comfortable. I bought another pair of vinyl Rieker's in black in a different style...love 'em just as much!

Great Pull-On Boots - While I've only worn these boots once (it's not quite cold enough yet), they are very nice. While I normally wear a 9.5, with the European sizing, I bought a 41 (about a 10). I definitely need to wear thicker socks with these (stockings or bare feet don't cut it). But, they were comfortable and no breaking in is needed. They look great too -- I love the dark brown color. I'd definitely give these a try! And Zappos is great with the fast shipping!

Boot description - I was looking for a more stylish boot. This one was too dorky looking for me-I wanted to wear it with short skirts or dresses etc. and maybe go dancing or a sleek look at work. I'm returning them.

At last! These are great boots. I was afraid the stretch fabric would look cheesy and make them hard to get on, but they really do pull on like socks, and you can't tell it's not a leather shaft. The pitch places your weight on the heel rather than the ball of your foot, they feel like flats. Unless you need really good built-in arch support, you won't find anything this comfortable, and unless you're looking for very fancy evening boots, you won't find much that's better looking-- believe me, I've tried!

I got these boots in a size 38 and they are a bit large - I need to wear a heavy sock underneath them - but it is absolutely worth it as they are the most comfortable boots I have owned in a very long time. They fit my calves snuggly and don't have the pinch of a zipper. The heel is just the right height for comfort and to look good under slacks or a skirt. I love them and am buying a second pair, so I will have a spare when these wear out! LOVE THEM!

Very comfortable - I ordered this boot because it looked as if it would be comfortable. Being that I broke two toes not long ago it has become extremely difficult to find shoes/boots that are comfortable on my foot. All I can say is that I made the right decision when I decided to purchase these boots. They feel wonderful.

Soft & comfy! These beautiful boots fit like a glove. There was no "break in" period. The first time I wore them, I was on my feet all day, and they were very comfy. I bought the chestnut brown color, and it is rich and beautiful. The stretchy leather makes the boots easy to put on and take off. Getcha some!

Beautiful boot - This boot looks great on and is comfortable. Looks good under pants or with skirts. Comfortable for walking. Very dark brown so can pass for black.

Rieker boots - I ordered these boots in 7-7.5 and I've noticed my foot slides back and forth a little if I don't wear heavy socks. They're very comfy though and even with the sliding, I haven't had any blisters or rubbing spots on my feet. My one complaint about these boots is that the Stress Free technology that makes the boots so comfortable also makes a creaking noise when walking on carpet. I requested a new pair and the new pair seemed a little better. They seem to be getting a little quieter the more I wear them but I've been wearing them now for a good month and they still creak a little. I decided to keep the second pair though because the boots are really cute and sexy without looking too trendy and are very well-made.

Loved 'em! I haven't been able to fit my calf into ANYTHING! I finally ordered these (even though I didn't want a stretchy calf), and I really liked them. I wear a size 9, but I bought some shoes in Barcelona and they are a 39. In these and in my Ecco's I wear a 40. I think the European sizing is different depending in what country they are made. I think that they are supposed to feel a little big too. I tried the 39 & it was too small--40 feels roomy. Really comfortable--even with the 2" heel. I can wear them all day at work, which is saying something for me. I really like the look of the toe too. I would buy Rieker’s again.

Fabulous Boot - My feet are slowly going to ruin from years of high heel wearing so I'm making the switch to flatter shoes. These boots are cute, stylish & VERY comfortable. They squeaked a bit when I first wore them but it quickly stopped.

Love this boot - But if you have a bigger calf, I would hesitate. I wear a size 9, and have small legs and it is nice and snug. The leather on these is very soft, heel height is flattering and the soles have a non-slip surface.

Love the height, the color and stays comfortable and snug even around my thicker calves. I can wear this all day! I'll definitely be saving up for a second pair.

BEST boots ever - When slipped into this pair of boots, world of comfort began. It felt so comfortable throughout when I moved around so much by foot. I have two pairs of Reiker boots! BEST Boots ever..GUARANTEED!

Nice looking and fitting boot - I thought I would like the Reiker boot by looking at the picture. Reikers usually have well made shoes that fit the human foot like they should fit. It is warm here now and I have not had a chance to wear the boots, but I am sure they will get plenty of wear in the fall and winter.

Finally. I have been looking for the universal pair of boots for years and I finally found them in these Rieker boots. They can be casual or dressy. They have found the balance of having a nice sized heel, but are comfortable enough that I can hike around all day in them. There was no wearing in period, just put them on and go. And they were affordable for me. I'm saving up to buy another pair since it took me so long to find boots like these, I don't want to wind up back in the same boat once these wear out.

They fit like a glove! The boots are a little hard to get on and off, but other than that they're great! I got the size 9, which is my usual size, and they fit perfectly. I have a high arch and a bunion, so sometimes shoes are too tight on the top or side of my foot. But not these! I've been wearing them pretty constantly since I got them because they are very comfortable.

I rarely buy knee high boots because of my calf size (15"). These are perfect! Very comfortable and sleek. No clunky lacing or zippers. They fit like a glove. Easy to dress up or down. Do yourself a favor though and get a long shoe horn.

Great boots - A little strange at first since there was no zipper, but believe it or not, they go on and off very well and are extremely comfortable. The heel is perfect - not too tall to be too dressy and not too short. A good everyday boot!
