Perfect boots for the smaller leg gals. I am extremely happy with this boot! FINALLY a pair of boots that the shaft isn't too large for me. With skinny legs & a size 8 foot, it's impossible to find the narrow upper shaft boots! These do have a bit of stretch as well, and the shaft is very lightweight & pliable so they are not stiff like regular boots, VERY comfortable! I'd give ANYTHING almost to have this boot in Brown & other neutral colors as well as Black color!

Great Stretch Boot - I bought these boots to replace another stretch pair that finally split at the seams after about 5 years. The chocolate color looks really good, they fit snug on my average calves, and no zipper is very sleek (the reason I like stretch boots best). Overall, they're casual but pulled together and comfortable. What I don't like: First, the material scuffs easily and they don't rub out much. Second, I was wearing thin socks with them and walking around for a few hours. The stretch let them slip just enough to cause sore spots that were borderline blisters. Happy with these boots.

Great Boot - This boot fits very well and is comfortable. I've worn with jeans and they look great. You cannot tell they are not leather. Would recommend.

Good all-purpose boot - Usually I wear a 6.5 or 7, or 37 European (which I ordered). The fit is good, though the pitch is a bit off for me. My feet seem to be thrust forward in these boots, but a gel pad under the ball of the foot fixed the problem. They bag a bit around the ankles, but I do have very skinny ankles. Style-wise: They are passable (not great). I wanted a plain simple boot, yet something more refined looking. Comfort: Accommodate my bunion well; no pain. Since they don't breathe, they do get too hot during strenuous activity, but they're just fine for normal day-to-day activity. These boots have a soft lining and I find them easy to put on and take off. I'm satisfied with these boots, but my leather Naturalizers (which don't seem to any longer be available) are a more comfortable and better looking boot.

Mostly comfy, mostly good looking - I'm happy with this boot although I'd prefer something that bagged a little less around the ankle area. I usually wear between a 6.5 and 7 and even the 6.5 feels a little bit big. Still, it's a good boot for the price.

Great fit & look, but don't breathe - These are great looking boots and pretty comfortable (after walking around a lot, the thin sole and lesser support were noticeable), but probably because they're synthetic they don't breathe and make my feet hot.

For work - I work on my feet without relief for upwards of 10 hours a day and needed a boot that I could wear with a skirt during the Chicago winters. Though not as comfortable as a gel insert wedge, this boot has proven to work for such a situation. I LOVE that it is small around the calf. I'm a very tall size 2 with not much meat on me and it actually fits my calf!! Overall -- comfortable, good looking boot for everyday usage.

Dressy but still casual - Great shoe! The heel height is just 1 3/4 inches which makes it an easy shoe to walk in. They slip on comfortably, and feel good all day. There is minimal padding, so if you want to insert an additional cushy insert, it would be best to order a larger size than you usually wear.

A good, comfortable alternative - My only complaint about these boots is that the European sizing doesn't really work for me. I'm usually a 9 1/2 and I ordered the 41 and it's a little big, but I fear the 40 would have been too small. With that caveat, the boots are very comfortable although I don't think they are super-high-quality. There is something about the stretch vinyl that does seem a little cheap (ish). Nothing to prevent me from wearing them a lot, though.

Booted For Concrete in NYC - I love these boots. I ordered a 38, which is described as fitting 7-7.5 size feet. I would assess them as being between the two sizes, so when I look down at my feet, they seem a little larger than my usual size 7s. Never mind, because... they have a cleat-type sole for grip and a low heel (great for concrete. The upper is very soft and stretches comfortably over my 15-1/2 inch right calf (tighter on my larger left calf, so they don't go up as high). Although they are a bit difficult to get into, there is plenty of room for a sock and for orthotics (use double-sided tape to keep them in place while you are putting the boots on). My only concern is the stress you put on the leather upper pulling them on. (A long shoe horn didn't work for me.)

Comfortable and fashionable. These boots both look nice and feel great. The only thing I was disappointed about is that the calf part is not leather (the shoe is). Maybe this is true of all stretch boots, but when I originally ordered I thought the entire boot was leather. Still, they look good (not cheap looking) and feel great!

Zappos has fantastic ordering and shipping process! I'm very impressed with the quick service and ease of ordering, not to mention the return policy in case the shoes weren't quite what you thought they were. These boots seemed comfortable enough, but were quite loose. I tend to fit into most 7.5 medium shoes, so I ordered the 7-7.5 pair but still they were loose width-wise, especially around the ankle area. I'm 5'3" and the shaft of these boots is about 1-1.5 inch higher than I would want, but it was easy enough to fold the top edge if you want the shaft to be shorter. They tend to slouch around the area above your ankles, but may be if you had bigger ankles and calves this won't be as noticeable. I do like that these boots have a less than 2-inch heel with a square toe with flexible sole. There are very few knee high boots that do. Interestingly enough, the non-leather shaft looks like leather so that shouldn't be a concern. The fact that they stretch also makes them comfortable. Reasons I might return these boots would be because of the slouch in the lower shaft and wideness of it in the ankle area.

Great Boots! Just received and tried on my new Reikers! They actually are more stylish than the picture on the web site led me to believe. Nice heel height. Somewhere between my flat riding boots and 3-3/4 in heeled boots. I love Reiker's other shoes and comfort is just as good. Upper fits nice around my calves that are sometimes too wide for some other boots. The stretch does it! The upper is not leather so there are wrinkles around the ankle. Size was fine; especialy with socks which are great with boots to keep your tootsies warm! Euro sizes are strange for us Americans anyway! All in all a great combination of comfort (#1 for me) and style! Thanks!!!!

Cute but not comfortable - I HAD to buy gel forefoot cushions in order to survive my first day in these boots. I get TONS of compliments on them, but for how expensive they are I expected more. Little or no arch support, little or no cushioning. Usually boots offer more support. With the gel inserts, these are okay, but I wouldn't want to do a lot of walking in them. I sit all day. Also, they don't go up high enough. I'm tall (5'10"), so maybe a shorter person wouldn't have that problem.

These were rather more generously sized than I expected. Although the shaft of the boots fit snugly enough, they bunched at the ankles. I decided not to keep them.

Stretch boots - Sleek, reasonably easy to pull on. Great looking, but as with all fashion boots, the footbed is too hard, which makes my feet burn after wearing them shopping. But they're beautiful to wear with skirts.

They fit okay right below my knee, but the calves are still HUMUNGOUS! I'm 5'11" and slim, so you can imagine how difficult it is for me to find a pair of knee boots that actually FIT. I don't understand why they make boots like this. Who has narrow feet and huge calves?? There is no zipper. These boots are pull-on. It would make more sense to make wide width boots with big calves and medium width with smaller calves.

They look a little funny This boot was very comfortable, but it looked like I had a shoe on with a thick sock instead of looking like a boot.

Fell apart - Although these shoes look and feel great - the fabric that they are made out of isn't. The fabric bubbled up and tore in places and in other spots it ripped away from the sole. I was very disappointed in the end and that was only after a two months of wearing about once a week. Happily Zappos took my return for a full refund. Thanks Zappos for being so easy to work with.

Poor quality - I ordered this boot last fall. After a few weeks of wear the leather started puckering around the arch. Zappos was fantastic and let me exchange the defective boots for a new pair since I had only had them for three weeks. I just pulled them out of the closet yesterday and the boot is pulling away from the sole, the leather is cracking around the toe box and the puckering is happening around the arch. I live in the South so these boots do not see snow or much weather. I am VERY disappointed with this style boot. I love my other Riekers but these are just poor quality.

I love these boots. Super comfy and stylish, great price. However, I fit in a 40, which is a 10, and I normally wear a solid 8.5 in most other shoes. I actually held a pair of 8.5 Aerosole shoes up to them and the soles were the same size, so I would encourage you to order a larger size if you are getting these.
