Fits like a glove - I was skeptical about ordering boots online but I was soon put at ease with these boots. Soft, sturdy leather and an ample heel for us short folk out there. I ordered a 1/2 size up from the norm and they fit perfectly with just a tiny bit of additional room. They can be difficult to put on if you have large calf muscles in your legs but once on, they are a breath of fresh air.

Great Comfortable Boot - This boot is really comfortable to wear all day at work. I wear and ordered an 8 1/2. It is a little roomy, but not annoying enough for me to have gotten a size 8. I have a little bit of a hard time wearing zip-up high boots, so this one is wonderful with no zippers. Slips on easily, but stays up all day long.

Good lookin' boot - Love the way the boot hugs the calf without it being too tight - there could be more cushioning in the foot pad but overall a great boot.

Great fitting boots! I love love love these boots. They are so soft inside that I can go without socks if I want to. They fit well over my thick calves and dont pinch or bind at the top. I wish they came in other colors!

Feel great first time - I was a little worried at first, because there is no zipper. However, the leather is stretchy, and once you get used to that, they are great. I wore them immediately, and they were as comfortable as anything I'd had for years, but look so much better! Definitely would buy them again. Look great, and feel great.

Rieker tall boot- I am only 5 ft. tall and have never had a pair of high boots that fit me! I am so thrilled with these stretch boots. I have athletic calves as well as short legs and these are perfect. The friends at work and my husband thought they looked great with skirts and a knit dress... I am so pleased and since they are Riekers they are so comfy. I can wear them all day and my days are long!

Just right! These boots are great looking and comfortable even for someone with good-size calves like me. My orthotics fit in them perfectly--so all in all I'm a happy camper.

I walked and walked and walked - I bought these boots specifically to tour Manhattan on foot in the snowy cold. News: They're water proof, warm, comfy, fit to your leg and roomy if you add an insole, they're even better. The look is very simple and classic not as trendy as I’d like, but still flattering.

The best boot I have found so far. It has been time consuming finding a stylish, affordable and most important - comfortable boot. I have to say this is the boot that fits all criteria. I have a wide foot and athletic calves (I wear an 8 and ordered an 8 Wide). This boot gives extra room in width so I can put orthotics in if I want and also has the stretch around the calve to make it like a custom fit. I would rate them perfect if they had a bit more arch support. Zappos service is unbeatable and makes for guilt free shopping ie: shipping costs and free returns. I'm so happy I found Zappos! Thank You!!

Finally, love! I love these boots! They fit over my large muscular calves with no problem and no bagginess, and are so comfortable. I tried many pairs of boots and thanks to zappos was able to find the right pair for me without having to pay shipping. This is the greatest, because no shoe store has all these different brands and choices. The boot is so comfortable I wear it to work and stand all night for eight hours without pain or blisters! I normally wear a size 10, but in these boots 9.5 was my size. The size 10 was too big and my foot slid around in them. Thanks Zappos for making my dream of great knee high boots come true!

I ordered these boots in my true size (9.5) and they fit PERFECTLY! My favorite part about these boots is that actually comfortably fit my wider/muscular calves. They are plain boots yet beautiful, they look great with skirts and also with pants. I'm VERY satisfied with these boots and ecstatic that I have finally found the perfect pair of basic dressy black boots.

These boots ROCK!!! Awesome boots!!! I've never been able to find a pair of knee high boots to fit my larger size calves until now. These boots are comfortable and stylish, I wore them with a skirt and they looked fabulous. I danced all night and felt no worse for the wear. I highly recommend this boot to anyone who has trouble finding boots to fit the slightly larger size calf!!! You won't be disappointed. Just what I was looking for! I love these boots! I have been looking for a good, comfortable pair for quite some time now. I also appreciate how Zappos has reviews on their shoes; it really helped in making my decision. I have worn these all over the place and my feet have not hurt once! The stretchy material around the calf makes for a perfect fit. Very comfortable boots - highly recommended!

Great Boots! I wore these to a concert and had no discomfort walking up and down aisles and stairs. The next night my daughter wore them because the ones she brought to wear were too uncomfortable.

My cool boots - I love these boots! I did a copious amount of research before selecting these particular boots and Zappos proved to have the best prices. My order was delayed due to a typo on my part, but Zappos called me to straighten out my information. Even though it was my mistake, Zappos shipped my boots via 2nd day delivery at no extra charge. That was a wonderful gesture and I will not hesitate to buy my shoes through Zappos! Thanks.

Very pleased - Very happy with these extremely comfortable, pull-on boots. They look good and feel good, though admittedly, they are not as "fashionable" as some other higher (much higher!) priced boots. If you want a stylish knee-high boot that is comfortable for long walks or full workdays, this is the one for you. Also, reasonbly priced. It's a winner.

They are true to size and are really comfortable. Great boot for people with large calves!

Versatile boot - Attractive boot, perfect to wear with skirts or pants. Not quite as comfortable as the shorter Rieker boot I also own. I added an insert for more arch support.

As promised in my review on 2003-03-02, after walking through a puddle to get to my car, I just had to try them in deep water. I wore them over some snug jeans & drove my sweetie crazy for 5 minutes walking around in a small lake. Up to my knees, they hardly leaked! If they made them thigh high, I'd take fishing lessons! :) Love these boots!

Awesome, if... ...your shoe size is normal and you have a medium width (in my case, 6.5, B). I may never take these boots off; they're that comfortable and good-looking. These boots are truly awesome in terms of fit, looks and comfort. I love them!

Love mine! Very nice boots....classy and sexy without being trashy. I've worn them with skirts..and also with jeans tucked into them. Another bonus....I had to go walking through a deep puddle to get to my car...and they didn't leak! I was in at least 6 inches of yucky water, which is a definite plus over my other boots. I'm going to try them up to the knees this spring when it gets warm. My sweetie wants to see that!

Great Boots! The right boot for my 13" thighs. They are incredibly comfortable and fit just right. The shape is a little wierd, the cut is wide at the top but they fit great. I love how I can only put 1 finger between my leg and the boot instead of the usual fist with store-bought boots.

Das Boot! Buy these boots! No annoying zipper to rub together when you walk, hugs the calf comfortably, roomy toebox and snug heel, sexy with a skirt and with pants. I stand a lot at work and these were great. Walking felt natural, not heel/toe clopping like in other boots.
