Finally a comfortable shoe.
I have owned mine for about 2 months and finally a great comfortable shoe. It is like walking on a pillow. I am on my feet numerous hours of the day and at the end of the day my feet feel great. Thank goodness for Deer Stag and the comfort insole.

Good and Bad.
I love these shoes! I've been wearing wing tips since grade school. Started out with Florsheim's. I've had a pair of Jarman's for twnty plus years. These shoes mimic that style at about 1/3 the weight and price. They are extremely comfortable. I wear them daily along with another pair of Deer Stags. the only bad part about them is that the inner sock at the back of the heel which appears to be a synthetic mesh type wore through inside 5 months. The leather is still there and I don't feel any discomfort but it would be nice if that section wasmade more robust as it is one of the first things that wears out in a shoe. Overall a great value in a super shoe.

Triple A+ Shoe.
It takes me months to find a shoe that is comfortable, looks nice and is reasonably priced. I have a wide foot and usually spend a lot of time looking for suitable shoes. These are the best I've found in years and I consider myself particular with regard to value/comfort. I look for comfort above all, but these have an excellent look as well. I can't say enough about how good they feel. I could wear these dress shoes all day, including for walking.

I've stopped wearing my Eccos since buying DeerStag!
I was on a business trip to Boston, and I forgot to pack my pair of Ecco shoes. Not willing to wear my casual shoes for the meetings, I went out and bought the Deer Stags. At 1/6 the price of Ecco's -they're a great bargain! I wear orthotics, so finding shoes that would fit them are sometimes hard to find. I'm very happy with the Dear Stags, and I'm wearing them more often than my Eccos!

Comfortable Dress Shoe Is an Oxymoron...Not now.
I love them. It's the most comfortable dress shoe I've ever worn and rival my Rockport walking shoes.

Ouch - not the most comfortable shoe I've ever had. The upper is rather stiff and I found, much to my discomfort, that the fold across the top that occurs when walking landed right on the tops of my toes causing them to rip open and bleed. I found that by spending several minutes a day holding the shoe in my hand and bending the toe to meet the foot opening (while forcing the fold at the correct spot) lessened the problem. So for shoe s price it's not bad, but it's not "good" either. I'm sure once a year has passed and I've forgotten the blood, plasters, and frustration I'll have a better opinion of the shoes.

On the plus side, nice looking dress shoe, reasonable price, broad size range. On the minus side. Stiff, not a comfy walking shoe. Hubby had to walk more than expected and his feet were sore. This is not the norm for him.

Zappos has the best customer service. That is nice in this day and age. The shoes I recently purchased caused a blister. I have been wearing these shoes for years and twice I have gotten a pair that caused blisters. I got some mole skin and am breaking them in. I do know that Zappos has the best return policy, but thought I would at least try first

So far so good. I don't expect them to hold up forever based on past experience with Deer Stags but for the money, they are very comfortable and good-looking. It's the cool wing-tip look but on a durable shoe, not a fancy, special-occasion only shoe. That's what sold me. Zappos was awesome as usual. Shoes arrived 48hours after I ordered them.

These shoes are nice and comfortable for the price. I ordered in an extra wide (EEE) and I do feel they are bit bigger than the size indicates. If you buy wide EE or EEE, you may want to downsize one-half size. As for service and price, I've found you can't beat Zappos. I've been very pleased and have repeated my order several times based on their great customer service, prompt delivery, etc.

Other reviewers mentioned that these shoes run large, and they do. Other than that no complaints. I certainly feel like I got more than I paid for. :)

A good pair of shoes. They run a little large. A little difficult to tighten the laces, but nothing unusual.

Good looking dress shoe with the comfort of a much more casual shoe. It's a little wider than normal. Probably not noticeable unless you have a narrow foot. These are much lighter than most shoes of this style.

I had ordered these shoes before and sent them back because, as others have mentioned, there was a bump under the ball of one foot. Ordered two this time and sent one back for the same reason. But the other is fine and large fit for a 12 3E. Takes effort, but thankfully Zappos has free returns!

Bummer, they DO feel like they run a 1/2 size too big and unfortunately, they didn't have a shoe in a 6.5. The shoe itself looked great, nice leather and well made. The insoles were REALLY comfortable, but I wish they would have put some padding in the back of the ankle area. I could tell after wearing them for 30 seconds that my ankle would've been ripped to shreds.

Good quality shoes. My husband has ordered three or four of them. They are solid, true to size, and are very comfortable. He recommends them to anyone.

Stags -
The Stags Tribune has a very soft step. Unfortunately, the side support gives too much. The face of the shoe holds up well over the long-term.

Deer Stags Tribune review -
This pair of Deer Stags Tribune shoes is the third pair I have bought since 2005. The shoe offers me the style I want to project in my choice of clothing accessories and gives me the comfort I want for my feet. The rubber cushion soles give me the support I like for the long days on my feet. All three of my previous purchases have been in the color, black; I'm seriously considering ordering a brown or burgundy color Deer Stags Tribune because I typically wear my Stags every other day. Currently, my other shoes do not have the rubber cushion soles. -JPM 1/13/09

Comfortable all day -
Bought the shoes to wear at work. Previously had a pair of black Deer Stags Banker, great shoes, and was looking for brown wing tips. I can wear these all day they look and feel great. Not sure about the materials, believe they're man made, but almost impossible to tell. The sizes were perfect, the fit was perfect.

Should have paid attention to the other reviews...
I have true size 13 eee feet, and am often disappointed that other 13eee shoes simply don't fit well or comfortably. These shoes ARE nicely made for the price and since I bought them for a special occasion use, I will manage. They DO run large and wide, and I need an extra pair of socks to feel like they fit correctly. I would advocate buying 1/2 size smaller and/or narrower as well as your true size to be sure to get the best fit. I suspect that the manmade upper will show signs of wear and stress after a few weeks of more frequent wear, but the price really is excellent.

Florsheim - Kenmoor are AMAZING and very similar.. but pricey. Worth the investment for good longterm wear though..

Great airport shoes -
I wear these shoes as part of my pilot uniform. I purchased them mainly because they are airport friendly. If you wear them often they fall apart pretty quickly. The last pair I owned were falling apart in about 6 months of regular wear. They also run about a 1/4 size large. Overall, if you're going thru airport security often and need a nice-looking black shoe this shoe works well.

Budget shoe with classic look -
The shoe is very comfortable and the non-slip
soles and SUPRO footbed are very comfortable.
The only downside is the man-made upper, which
tends to look a little cheap and "plastic-y"
after a few wears. However, it appears to be
durable (no actual cracking in the material)
Overall, a good bargain.

Nice lookin' with a suit -
Bought them for my husband who seems to like them very much. They do scuff the floor, though, so look out for that.

Not Bad. Love the shoes, but quality not perfect. Wish they had them a little wider, but OK. One bad lace, and toe tooling way off center on right shoe. I decided not to send them back because they are what I need and they are really nice.
