Cheap for a reason - I got these shoes for my husband and within about 3 weeks, we started to notice that there were spots on his shoes that looked like scuff marks. They were located in areas that would be hard to scuff up the shoe. It was like the material was rubbed off in these areas with something rough. Then, we noticed that the shoe was coming apart from the sole of the shoe. I will never again get this brand nor recommend them to anyone. Sometimes it is worth spending the extra money.

Deer Stags Times - This shoe appears to be solid. However, the rubber sole w/the cut out and an insert which has the appearance of being high tech - are simply complicated - and are useless. This shoe provides no support - and if you have any foot problems - this shoe will make things worse.

Changed design means painful shoe - I own an earlier version of these shoes and they were some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. The new version drops the cushioning around the top so they dig into achilles and ankles. They've also changed the uppers so that they now dig into the top of my foot. Very, very disappointed.

Item was a rip off - This shoe was overall comfortable. I am a TSA airport screener and it alarmed on the MAG - Xray showed metal in it. Not airport safe. Within 2 months both shoes leather was bubbling off. I work indoors and not exposed to the elements so I have no clue how this could happen. 3 Months after buying the shoe I have to get another shoe. Worst shoe I ever brought.

Usually Ibdon't trust online site to buy shoes, after I read about zappos in a book I've decided to give them a try. It was a good surprise for me, the packaging was good and the shoes are true to size. Zappos got a new customer.

My right foot is a little wider than my left. A quick trip to my local shoe maker and he gave it a little stretch.

My husband needed a black dress shoe when he wears his suits, which is mainly funerals and weddings. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money, and these work well. I don’t think they would be super comfortable for everyday wear, but for what he needs them for, they’re great.

I have worn the shoes once so far and I am happy with them.

Love these shoes last pair lasted 6 years. I’ll keep buying these until they quit making them.

I have a difficult time getting shoes to fit good these fit like a slipper very comfortable very happy and nice looking shoes to. The laces are a little Stiff and I might replace those with an elastic style lace other than that I think the shoes are nice will tell with time what the integrity of these shoes is like.

I purchased these shoes for a member of the cast in a play I costumed, and he is so happy with them that he wants to keep them! Since he wears a size 16, his footwear options are often somewhat limited, so we were both thrilled to get exactly what we wanted at a great price. And they arrived immediately due to my VIP status at Zappos! When he tried them on, we both noticed they were very well made and had great support. They’re definitely a classic and good looking men’s dress shoe for any occasion!
