These shoes are prime examples of Rockport's descent into mediocrity. I bought the exact same model six or seven years ago, before the change in ownership. There is no comparison: the older shoes are much higher in quality and comfort. The newer shoes are made with stiffer leather, resulting in a tighter, less comfortable fit. I "saved" 40%, and I feel that I overpaid. Rockport used to be known for very high quality. Now it is known for disappointing ordinariness. I can't see myself buying anymore Rockports.

These have been my go to for work for many years. Comfortable and light. However, this last pair I had to return. Stiff, and digging into my ankles. Leather not nearly as soft. Will be looking for something different.

Not really comfortable. I've had Rockport shoes that were as comfortable as sneakers. The are less comfortable than shoes.

After many, many years & miles in Rockport shoes, I'm disappointed as this new pair makes a squeaking sound as I walk.

The shoes are made ok but they did not fit me right so I found them very uncomfortable.I ended up sending them back for a refund and bought a similar pair of a different brand a few days later that are alot better.

Very hard to rate the shoe ! I always order size 10.5 and M width and almost always that size is right for me. This time I could not even get my foot into this beautiful, well made shoe! the shoe inside label was 10.5 but believe me it was not a 10.5. it deserves a 5 star rating but it was mislabled a size 10.5. I sent the pair back with enclosed return label. maybe I'll order again and get a properly sized 10.5. A really nice shoe, I've always liked your quality shoes and boots.

Shoes caused pain to feet. I must tie shoes very lose. which is sad I have bought this shoe for years

Shoes received were not as pictured on the website. Website showed dark brown pebbled leather, and black sole. Actual shoes received were smooth tan colored leather and light colored sole. Additionally, the shoes were nearly 1" shorter than other Rockport size 11 shoes that I own, so, they did not fit. I returned the shoes, and await the refund.
