This is a well-made shoe, looks great, excellent quality and fits well except there is zero arch support. That's my only complaint but I need a lot of arch support so I had to send it back. Otherwise it would have been perfect.

I like the shoes except they have a narrow toe box. Shoe manufacturers need to address this widespread issue. It is a good way to ruin nice shoes. Also, the shoes have paper thin insoles. That is mot what I expect from Rockport.

I have worn the Rockport wing tip for several years to my great pleasure. It was a nice fitting (I have a narrow foot) and comfortable shoe, very light in weight. I was in need of a more versatile shoe for some travel, but still "nice" enough to wear with slacks and a sport coat. My initial impression of the comfort level of this shoe is disappointment. Seems "stiff" and the top of the shoe at the ankle opening seems to chafe at my ankle. I have added a gel insert, and am hoping the shoe will "loosen up" the stiffness and the ankle issue with some wear. I must also admit that the photo on line gives more the impression of a hiker/walker type shoe and the live product gives more the impression of an "old man's shoe".

I have been wearing Rockport for many years. This is the first pair purchased that did not fit true to size. Feels like I'm walking out of shoes.

I had a pair of these years ago and they were a great shoe. really comfortable, great quality, all that good stuff. so i decided to buy another pair but i guess the old saying goes, they dont make things like they use to, is right. this new pair is all but like the older ones. i try not to say anything at all if its going to be bad and with that all i will say is this. wish i wouldnt have bought them.
Hopeful,

These shoes as they come are unacceptable for a supposedly "comfortable" shoe. The insole is simply not padded enough. With the addition of even the most basic store bought insole, the shoe was turned into a comfortable walking shoe, but without it, it was like standing barefoot on concrete. The style won't be confused with a fancy shoe, but it's perfectly workable for smart casual or even business casual in a pinch.

There was a very subtle difference between the left and right shoes. The leather on the right shoe was a finer grain and a very slight lighter color. Not usually a big deal for a guy like me, but I also ordered a pair of Merrill Jungle Mocs that are so comfortable, I'm going to wear them all the time. Don't need the Rockports now.

Nice looking shoes and comfortable. I was looking for something to cushion my old feet and these have thin very flexible bottoms. I've been afraid to wear them for any length of time due to this. I'll probably get some inserts and see if that helps.

Walking comfort deficient from too thin and/or too hard soles, unlike prior Rockports I own/wear in this model. Shoes are quite attractive.

I purchased this shoe for the style and looks. I was some what hesitant as Rockport's can be sketchy in quality for the price. Yep, sure enough the inner lining is cheap feeling poly crap. Wearing them outside you feel the cold penetrating right through. The Lugz I purchased last year are a much superior shoe for less money. No value here!

Ugh -- the shoes felt stiff, too big and uncomfortable for even few minutes. The style was also a disappointment.

Well, I have only been wearing these for about 3 weeks, so we'll see how they hold up. So far so good! I'm rating these as average because it's too early to tell.

I have a fairly wide foot which causes me to select certain brands. Rockport usually fits my wide foot. The classic fits my width but rides slightly higher than my other Rockports. This height causes a sore spot on my ankle even with heel pads placed inside. The shoes will take some getting used to but I'm confident they will eventuall break in nicely. This shoe has a finish texture that looks casual dressy while providing a comfort similar to a sneaker. Overall I would recommend Rockports because of their usually consistent fit and value.

After eight months of semi-regular wear to work, the cushioning became ineffective and the shoes were painful to wear. Even comfort inserts were not enough to remedy the issue.

Tight and uncomfortable. Ordered 10.5 4E and another brand in a 3E, other brand great out of the box.

Have a pair of these from years ago that New pair was tighter and felt a huge bump under the ball of my foot in these. Took the pad out and still could feel the bump. Was worst in the right shoe. Don't know what they did but won't be buying this style again. Great service from Zappos.

These are great shoes, the only problem is that they seem to wear out too fast - I do a lot of walking and they get funky on my feet before the soles wear out. I think they need a stronger fiber insert in the base.

I spent a heavy day walking and going up and down stairs at work, feet hurt so bad I had take the Rockports off. They are lacking arch support! I would return them if I could, but after a heavy 3 hours using stairs, they are already worn.

I bought a pair of these a few years ago and wore them out. The new ones are not nearly as well made. The outer material is more susceptible to stains and it is taking a lot of time to break them in. I've only worn them a few days over the past 3 weeks so I haven't given up. The Rockports I've owned before were walker's shoes so this pair has disappointed me so far.

Nice looking. These were shipped very quickly but they run at least one size narrower than advertised.

I was disappointed. They were okay for casual wear but not for walking. I found them to be too high, rubbing my ankles. Walking any distance became uncomfortable.

I was disappointed in the World Tour Classic. Aside from my running shoes, I have worn nothing but Rockport for over 25 years, so I'm sold on the company. But these are the least comfortable Rockport shoes I've owned. The fit is good, but even my dress shoes are more comfortable for walking and standing. There is not as much cushioning as any of the other Rockports I've ever owned, and when walking, the transition from heel to toe is clunky. This is quite surprising, since it is being touted specifically as a walking shoe. I was looking for something new to wear with khakis at the office, but it looks like I'll be going back to the Rockport Northfields that I've worn for the last couple of years. Those are far more comfortable, better for walking, and dressier, too.

So so. The shoes are good looking and generally comfortable. But the tongue jabs into my ankle, so much that it hurts. Luckily I noticed that the tongue has slots in it for the laces, and the shoes came with the laces already guided thru those slots. I re-laced the shoes without using the slots, so that the tongue is not forced so much against my ankle. Now they are bearable. If they would just lop about a quarter inch off the top of the tongue, these shoes would be a lot better.

I have been wearing this shoe style for several years and the last two pairs I bought were about a 1/2 size smaller and certainly much more narrow. I had to return the last pair for a 1/2 size bigger. I know my feet are not any larger as other brands still fit correctly in my size. Why is Rockport "downsizing" their shoes?
