The shoe looks good and fits well, but the insole came off at the first wearing.

While I am enjoying these shoes, I am a bit disappointed when I compare them to my old pair purchased several years ago. I had hoped to simply replace the old ones, but found that the construction of the old ones is demonstrably superior to the new ones. There is more padding, the shoes provide more support, and the soles don't squeak as I walk, unlike the new ones. Despite these deficiencies I am glad to have the new ones, since well made boat shoes like these are hard to come by, especially in narrow widths. They are worth the purchase price, but it would be even better if the construction and finish were as good as it was in the past.

I love the comfort of Rockport, and I love the look of the Perth Boat shoe. Unfortunately, the shoe did not fit after ordering a size I have been wearing most all of my life. I had to return the shoes and will attempt to try the shoe on in a brick and mortar store. I still like, and desire the shoe.

I prefer the softer nubuck Chocolate bark version which I have worn for most of the last 30 years.

The shoes are well made and high quality, but I had to return them after ordering online and not knowing the right size to get. I ordered the same size in a boat shoe as another pair of Rockports, those are dress shoes. The dress shoes fit great, but boat shoes in the same size were about half an inch too long. No idea why. But I did not just get the next smaller size, because the back of the shoe is too high on my ankle and too tight at the top, it pulls on the back of my ankle, and that was not going to work.

Nice shoe, but the lacings were improperly spaced & finished positioning. Had to undo all the way around the outside to balance lacings. An unexpected chore I did not expect or appreciate.l

Have worn this shoe for maybe 10 years and loved every pair. New shoes are too narrow. My W feels like a M.

Replacing an existing pair that is about 5 years old. This new pair is nicely constructed but it is so much more narrow than the older pair. Perhaps it is new or my foot got wider :-( but old pair is so much more comfortable. Hopefully the sides will loosen up.

First, let me state the shoe is very comfortable. The only issue I'm having is the inside of the shoe. I bought a black colored shoe and my white socks continue to turn black after each wear. First time this has ever happened to me with black shoes.

I have worn these same Rockport Perth boat shoes for over 30 years. Typically buy 2 pr a year and love them. Wear 10.5 M and have for many years. These proved to be too small - still wearing both pairs from last year, both 10.5 M and fit fine. I'm reordering 2pr at 10.5w.
