Rockport Perths were to replace a pair of Rockport Schooners that had lasted a long time. The Schooners are not made any more. These boat shoes fit, but I sent them back. The problem was that they only have a half sole insert, and it is cemented to the bottom of the shoe. I would need to rip it out to see if a Superfeet insert would work with the shoe.

Zappos as always was quick. The shoes are as expected. I left Rockports long ago due to quality issues. Time will tell.

Runs small for stated size and width; I returned them. Nice style though.

I love Rockports. Been wearing RockPort Perth for 20+ years. The shoes i received from Zappos were typical Rockports, good quality and look good but not anywhere near close in width to the 4E specified when ordered. The delivered shoe had XW on it for width and was at best 2e in actual width. i ordered 10.5 in length and for me it was perfect, probably 1/2" of space left in the toe for room and breathing. Disappointingly, had to return them because they were too tight in width.

I ordered three different shoes to compare as I have trouble getting a good fit. I have purchased these shoes twice before but as I have gotten older (65) my feet have gotten bigger so I ordered an 11. It pinched my big toe joint, so maybe an 11-1/2 would have worked. In the end I went with a Sperry Mako two eyelet moc because I thought it looked better but I may have to buy an orthic because it has no support. The Timberland Piper Cove Leather boat show was more comfortable on the sole but piched my ankle.

I have been wearing these for 30 years and this past pair was terrible. Way too small for 114E I am wearing and dole is 1/2 as thick?? I have 2 other pairs from a year ago that were just fine. Not sure if it was a cheap out redesign or a manufacturing defect so I returned them. Will try to order again in a few more months...

Fit was fine right from the start. Downside is the stitching actually is quite rough (not sure if it's the glue or the coarse thread, but it leaves a mark above my foot if I don't wear socks. That's a problem.

Great service from Zappos, but not so much for the shoes. Zappos offered and delivered on free 2 day air shipment. Shoes arrived as promised, will definitely deal with Zappos again. Not so much the shoes: Rockport, so fairly high-end, as I understand it, and fit was true to marking, but side of the right shoe came high enough to rub against my ankle bone, create a blister which quickly burst and even bled a little bit. Needless to say the shoes are not in new condition to return, but not usable by me. I tried kneading the offending portion to soften it up, bandaids on my ankle to protect and allow the shoe to "wear in", but no joy. None of my other shoes have ever shown in-roll which could have led to this. On the positive side, the construction appears good, color is rich and consistent, stitching seems solid and made to last. Unfortunately, my ankle bone may not be quite so solid, but I can change shoes more easily than bones. 2 stars for comfort since one shoe worked well.

I had ordered two sizes of this shoe to make sure one would fit. Would you believe the size 10½" was 3¼" longer than the size 11M shoe! We are keeping the size 11 and returning the size 10½ shoe definitely. I am afraid of trying the order the 10 it might be an inch bigger than the size 11.

I am a woman and often have to buy men’s shoes as I have wide feet. Rockport’s usually fit great… this is not the case. I order two pairs- the “recommended size- too small and a size up again too small. Very disappointed. I’ll stick with my Tevas, Keens, and Merrill’s at least I can count on a a 7 being a 7!

These shoes have been a disappointment. I've tried wearing them a couple of times. The heal is far too loose and I feel like I'm walking with sandals. The upper is too tight and I tried wearing them without socks for a couple of hours and wore a painful blister on my foot. Can I exchange these for something that will fit better.

Shoes are very nice but the laces are in a very unconventional and in my mind ridiculous fashion by having them only on the left side and right side, respectively. I've tried many times many different ways to get these laces to fit properly but it's impossible.

I purchased these shoes to replace an identical pair that I purchased several years ago. While the appearance of the new shoes is almost identical, the quality and softness of the leather is not. I worked i the leather manufacturing industry for many years and know that one of the major cost components of making leather is the liquor that is added to make the leather softer. Clearly that is one of the corners that was cut. So sorry to see this!

The brown leather isn't smooth, like the photo. It's suede and shows stains easily. What I received was not what was advertised.

Like the look and fit of the shoe, but during the 5+ days of break-in, the stitching on the forefoot seam broke and a gap started to form. I doubt I had walked a mile, total.

The fit was too wide and candidly the comfort was less than ideal. Have owned several Rockford shoes in the past but these just did not seem to stand up to their standards. Returned shoes.

been buying boat shoes for 30 plus years---just like every thing else you make them cheaper and cheaper-- had them on 10 time in the house with socks a wooden shoe would have more comfort----they are so stiff----they hurt my feet so bad after 10 minutes I have to take them off-this will be my last pair-----

I bought these for my husband and we will be returning them. They are very uncomfortable; there is no cushion in the sole.

Should not have relied on quality control. As with others who purchased this product, the shipment came as the incorrect color. Left me no choice to accept them since they were needed shortly afterwards.

I have been purchasing this specific product since the early 1990's. Have probably purchased 14- 15 times. Has been a great shoe for business casual and street wear. I usually purchase two at a time- fearing that the product will eventually phased out. The product is M5106 mens 10 D. The product received was marked K55031-100-M. The manufacturing changed from China to Vietnam. They were so narrow I could barely get my foot into the right shoe as I was trying them on. In process of returning.
