Every time I buy this shoe they make them cheaper in quality

Finally found a Narrow shoe size 14N. I wanted to use these inside in lieu of slippers. I could not find any narrow slippers. On the too wide and soft side of slipper I fall off to the side of the sole. Makes me trip or turn a ankle. The Rockport soles are firm so inside on hard floor they make noise when trying to walk quietly. My feet being narrow are also thin so I had to add a shoe liner to take up some room to tighten the fit. Still very happy I can walk around with some support. BTW I could use tennis shoes but then I have to lace them up and not be able to slip in and out of them.

Shoes appeared as advertised. The leather was quite thick and construction seems up to Rockport's usual quality. I am having a tough time breaking these in perhaps due to the thickness of the leather, therefore the Comfort category suffers. These shoes should last for a long time and fit like a glove once they've conformed to my feet.

My husband needs a very wide shoe to accommodate his orthotics. Very limited selection usually. We picked these for style and color and were not disappointed. Fortunately the color was not as orange as shown online.

I wear orthotics and need removable insoles. The ones with these shoes were very difficult to remove.

i wear a 14 4E and wear orthodics so i am never sure what i am getting until i try them on. These fit great. nice and wide, comfortable and look solid. So far so good.

So far, so good. The question is how well the insole will hold up with frequent sockless usage.

I keep trying different brands (Born and Clarks) and falling back to Rockports. I stand at my desk, so I am on my feet 9-10 hours a day. These are the only boat shoes I have found that are comfortable enough to stand in all day long.

Will have to wear them longer to be sure.

I have been wearing Rockport Perth boat shoes for at least 20 years. They have always run a little big so I have worn a size 9 wide. The last pair was manufactured in a different country and much too small. This pair which is 91/2 extra wide seems to be close to the size of the previous. 9 W, maybe slightly larger but ok. This is probably close to my normal shoe size of 91/2 W:-. Obviously I would recommend the shoes since I have owned 20 pair.

I really need a 12C which hardly exists in a casual shoe. I have to find a loose B or tight D width. These and other Rockport styles work for me and the delivery service of Zappos is the best.

Nice looking shoe; appears well made, but the shoe size 10 is shorter than my normal size 10 foot.

Good shoe but decided to keep the Sebago Schooner instead; seemed just a bit better made.

Got the 9.5 4E bees wax. True to size and width. They're fairly good looking, and appear to be built to last.

A tad crude looking, but OK. If you want "true" 4E you get it. Size is "true". A little expensive, even on sale.

Picked up a pair of these this Spring. They are very comfortable.

I went with an N width instead of M, and it seems to work for my feet, which I have been told are narrow. I usually have to settle for medium width, which often feel a bit loose. The N width feels great and looks better. Like my last pair of Rockports, these provide excellent arch support and feel comfortable with or without socks.

beautiful shoe but too shallow for my orthotic

Bought these as Christmas gift for my husband. These are is second pair of rockport. They are very comfortable and easy slip on. He wears them everywhere.

These shoes look good and are well-made. However, they are more of a C width than a B. If you have a low-volume foot (i.e., low arch, B-width feet), you'll need to add a substantial insole to fill up the shoe. I wear them less than I intended because of this problem.

I'm disappointed enough in these shoes to return them. My foot is narrow and previous pairs of Rockports of this type were generally fine (I've had several over the last 10 or 12 years) -- but this pair has heel cups that are way too shallow to ever fit properly against my heel. I need something with a deeper heel cup (or a narrower heel).
