Fit great very comfy

Great look and fit for a variety of business and casual activities. Very comfortable but lacking a bit in arch support. Walking long distances may be an issue. Not great for very cold weather, but very nice overall.

This is probably my 20th pair of Clark's desert boots dating back 60 years ago. Obviously, I am a huge fan of this particular boot and won't be without a pair until I leave this planet. They are fantastic shoes.

I've owned a number of these Clark's DB's. I always have a pair. They last a long time and are THE most comfortable shoes. They are as comfortable as slippers. A must have pair in you closet.

I wasn’t sure how well I’d like the Taupe distressed suede but it’s become my favorite go-to shoe. These are perfect for work as well as casual wear. The crepe soles are so much more comfortable than traditional shoes, especially since I’m on my feet all day.

Classic look. Comfortable and not heavy. One downside is finding someone to resole them when the time comes.

I am very happy with this purchase. These are really comfortable in that funky low tech, spongy way (not in that high tech "Just Do It" way.) Boots can look good on guys; an excellent foil to the chronic t-shirt, jeans, sneaker thing. However, I work in software, not the forest. These manage to make sense in an urban environment. I think these upgrade whatever your perceived style acumen is, if that matters to you. These look best when worn so that some of the top is visible. Otherwise, you might as well choose oxfords. One thing that I wish I had done was treat the suede the moment I removed them from their box. No joke- if your dog sneezes on them your boots will have an indelible spray pattern forever. Don’t wear them in the rain or even around coffee drinkers who gesture carelessly. Why are these worth the price? I am a very fit but balding, middle aged, married man. I don't receive a lot of compliments anymore. These are the only shoes I own that have repeatedly elicited compliments from random women (even after the dog sneezes and coffee stains.) By the way, the uncanny compliment inducing combination is Oakwood suede Clarks paired with grey skinny jeans…in case that is useful information to any man out there (fit, balding, married or otherwise.)

These have been my 20 something (yrs. old) son's favorite shoe for the past several years. He wears them almost exclusively for school and work (a teacher) and has them in several colors - I always know what to get him for birthday and Xmas - either these or Clark's waterproof version. He normally wars a 9 but in Clarks wears an 8.5.

I had doubts when I bought these, since they didn't look as comfortable as other Clarks I've owned. But I was proven wrong. They have molded into the shape of my foot, they are comfortable, and look nice with both jeans and slacks. I also have Supination when I walk and sit (the opposite of Pronation) - which means I tend to roll over the outside of the foot. The consequence is that I usually wear out the front of any shoe that is not constructed well, including the stitching connecting the sole and upper part: I'm happy to report that like every pair of Clark's I've owned, these are stitched solidly, and stand up to Supination.

Great shoes, extremely comfortable. Looks great with jeans and khakis. Not sure if I totally like the distressed look, but it's growing on me.

I have owned a pair of these since 1966. Enough said.

Great shoe. My first paid of desert boots for 5+ years and while they still have many miles left on them, I wanted to add a new pair to my rotation. This pair has not disappointed. Fit great, look great and although they need some breaking in, are comfortable out of the box. Hope to wear this pair for 5+ years as well.

I bought these for my boyfriend for Christmas, and I already gave them to him because I was too excited to wait! They go with so many outfits and they look great. The only thing he said is that he might have gotten them in a half size smaller than what he normally wears, but he still loves them.

These are fantastic casual boots with a great style. This is my second pair of desert boots in the Oakwood suede, but only because suede this color eventually gets very dirty (five years or so for me). I love the look and they go with any type of jeans. They are also very comfortable to wear.

This is my second pair of Clarks desert boots. (And my fourth pair of Clarks classics.) Comfortable, stylish and durable as ever! My first pair - purchased four years ago and still going strong - is beeswax leather. This time, I decided on the taupe distressed suede. Zero break-in time, just put 'em on out of the box and go.

Just received these. They feel and look great. After reading other reviews I ordered a size down and am happy I did. I'm normally just shy of a 13, with a pretty wide foot, and the 12 regular width fits great. The blue suede is a deep navy color that is accurately represented in the picture.

This is a great looking shoe. It fits really nicely and comfortably. I would totally buy another pair once this one is worn out.

I love these boots, and I wear them with absolutely everything. I wear an 11 and ordered a 10. I wish I would have ordered a 10.5, but the 10 fits decently. They do take a bit of time to break in, but once you do, you definitely don't feel like you're wearing boots.

Let me start off by saying I love these boots. They look great with almost anything. These boots run a bit big (I usually wear a 7.5, had to order a 7) so order a 1/2 size down. Delivery was fast, I ordered on a Monday night and they arrived on Thursday afternoon of that same week. I'll definitely order from Zappos again when I buy another pair of Clark's.

I don't normally type reviews, as I feel that businesses should automatically impress their customers with amazing service. However, out of all my online shopping experiences (most of which have been good), shopping with Zappos.com has been the best experience I've had. They are extremely customer-service oriented, offer free overnight shipping on most purchases, and they securely package items so they arrive intact and undamaged. I often recommend Zappos.com to friends of mine. As a retail management veteran, who isn't impressed by much, I have to say, I've been impressed with the operation that Zappos.com is running.

Awesome boots! They are super comfortable and the olive color goes great with jeans. I bought a half size down based on user reviews and they fit perfectly. I am planning on ordering a couple more colors.
