Bought these for my 21 year old son, I loved look of this classic retro boot and he did too. Yeah! He said it felt broken in after 1st wear. I love Clarks for myself and husband, glad they are making shoes that appeal to the younger guys.

An awesome casual boot, very comfortable and stylish. I did not experience and troubles with sizing (but, hey, that's what free returns are for). Looks great with jeans and casual khakis, even rolled up a bit to show off the boot in warm weather (just don't wear socks). And if you want to spruce them up a bit, experiment with different colored laces to add some uniqueness considering a whole lot of people have 'em. If you want a true broken in look the leather and suede only looks better with age; however, if you want to keep them fresh definitely apply a water and stain proofer before wearing, and Kiwi shoe care products makes a specific kit for cleaning and maintaining suede desert boots, and maybe finish with some suede dye.

Great shoes. Needs some wear, though. They are light. and the crepe sole is bright. Almost opted for the pre-distressed pair, but thought the distressing is truer if it comes from my wear. Picture is accurate for color. Looks great with jeans and either lighter or much darker khakis. Size runs one size large. I wear 13, I bought a 12 and they fit perfectly. Yay Zappos!

I've been wearing Desert Boots (and Wallabees) for 10+ years. I've even owned UK-made Clarks (it would be nice to have that option again). The Oakwood Suede with the checkered lining is the most traditional and is comfortable, casual and stylish. Fit is very true to size, and width is a little narrow. They do break in though so it's a temporary snugness.

These boots are incredibly comfortable, but they run a little big. I usually wear a size 9 and had to drop down to 8. The suede expands as well, so make sure you try a pair on before you purchase.

Great boots. Tons of compliments. Feel great. Can't complain. Just order a half size smaller.

My husband has two pairs of these shoes. He wears them to work where he sometimes has to climb roofs and then wears them on the weekends with jeans. He loves the comfort and fit.

Great looking shoe and very comfortable! The Beeswax look is very cool and authentic. If you want a lot of arch support this is not the shoe for you. Otherwise, you can wear all day and your feet feel good at the end of the day.

Order half a size smaller, their sizing is weird. Overall a great buy, comfortable and stylish. Looking to buy another pair, but not anytime soon because these seem like they are going to last a while. Worth the buy!

They're great! But if you get the gum/crepe sole, I would recommend getting some shoe repair glue! The sole on my left shoe is coming up a tad bit. Don't worry about it too much, I'm pretty clumsy and I'm sure I stubbed it on something :P

I find the Clarks desert boot shoes very relaxing. They can be worn as casual style or a little dressy!! Any way, it's a cool look!!!!

Very happy with these shoes, they are casual and comfortable. As noted by others, should buy at least a half size smaller. The actual color is a shade darker than in the online picture. Zappos shipped the wrong shoe to me first, but were proactive and prompt in sending the right item by UPS second day. Very satisfied with these shoes, moreso the wife because I don't wear sneakers as often now when we go out!

Comfortable and Cool - These are superb shoes. I'm a teen and bought a pair for school, but have also ended up wearing them around for a casual look. Shortly after that, my Dad, influenced by the old school style bought a pair himself, and now wears them to work. This goes to show that the shoes are very versatile and can work for a weekend outing or day at the office. I also just saw my friend wearing them.. guess the words been spreading.

I bought these shoes for my husband and they are great! The color is awesome and he has been wearing them constantly since the purchase. They do run a full size small, though.

I got two pair, one in suede, and the second in waxed leather. The suede pair feels slightly narrow, but suede will relax, and it otherwise felt great. As a result, I ordered the waxed leather pair in the same size. The waxed leather pair felt tight (narrow) and uncomfortable, but since many had said that they needed to be worn enough to break in, I kept them. I've now worn the shoes a dozen times, and they still fit much more tightly across the width than the same sized suede pair. In fact, they are fairly uncomfortable. I'm going to see if a local shoe shop can stretch the width a bit so that I can wear them. Otherwise, I may not be able to use them at all.

I ordered these shoes and they literally appeared on my lap the moment I clicked the submit button. I usually wear a 10.5 sometimes 11. I got the 11 and they were too large. I looked like a clown. Then I returned them and got 10's. They fit great. A truly comfortable and stylish pair of shoes.

If you want a cool & stylish looking boot that everyone isn't wearing, than this is the one for you. They look great with a straight leg jean or other casual pants. Sometimes I roll them up for a little cuff. They kind of have a Woodstock, hippie-chic to them. Dig it, man! They are not for long walks, though.

My new favorite boots - I bought the Beeswax Leather style and they are my new favorite boot, hands down. I'm a 23 year old student who works in an office setting and I wear these bad boys everywhere. I get compliments every single day. I'm honestly considering buying multiple pairs. Want to turn heads in a good way? Buy a pair of these boots (buy a 1/2 size down). You can thank me later.

Get numerous pairs. These are literally, the most comfortable shoes you will ever own. Get numerous pairs of you can. But, in my opinion, get the beeswax leather ones. They break in great. Also get a size smaller. I usually wear a 12 and the 11 fits fine.
