Too narrow - I have a pair of 11M that are a poor fit. I need orthotics and if they can't make this boot in wide then I can't wear them even as much as I like them.

Awesome boots! These are great boots to wear with "business casual" attire. They look great with some chinos and a button down shirt. Don't recommend them with jeans, as they can easily pick up the dye from the jeans. I love how the soles are wearing and collecting dirt from everywhere I wear them.

Were a gift for my boyfriend. He loves them and says they are very comfortable. As always quick and easy with Zappos.

Around the world and back - I've worn these every day for a year while on a vigorous work/film assignment. I found myself standing in knee deep water and on dry as a bone desert terrain and these boots truly stand the test of time. I was recently complimented in the airport on my "worn" in boots -- truly a winner.

The best boot - I love these boots! They only get better with use, in respect to comfort. However, the sole of the tan versions become black and the suede marks up rather quickly (however, I enjoy the distressed look - like a badge of ruggedness or something). Will purchase a second pair in the darker beeswax!

These are great boots - comfortable, good looking, classic. However, I had to get these in a size 9.5 (I wear a 10). I\'ve been wearing Clarks for years and years and these are definitely consistent with the other models. Highly recommended!

Classic, and incredibly comfortable. The gum sole makes these shoes easy to walk in all day. I found they ran a bit large, so I ended up having to return my first pair and get a half size smaller.

The same awesome boot I remember wearing in 1972 as a 12 year old! Totally retro, completely hip, and oh so comfortable!

Clark's desert boots are great. There were a lot of other brand desert boots, but a friend recommended Clark's as the best. He was right. They are good for work and event, but you gotta keep them clean. The lighter ones are a little bit harder to keep fresh. Overall 5 out of 5.

I love the look and feel of the Desert Boots, but they run about a size big. Other than that I have no complaints. I wore them on a trip to Europe fresh out of the box and they were as comfortable as could be walking all day long. Zappos was a great help when it came to returning my first pair because they were too big; the customer service was amazing and I got my shoes within two days of ordering them. I wouldn't go anywhere else to get them. Great buy!

First thing about Zappos, they have amazing customer service. I ordered the boots on a Wednesday, and called in to make sure they were processed on Thursday. I was told that I was selected to be reviewed. I got free VIP service from now on as well as free overnight shipping. There were on my doorstep by Friday. The boots themselves (beeswax) are fantastic. They deserve a little break in time, but after that they are comfy for all day wear. The style cannot be matched, and it seems like these shoes will last me forever. The materials are stunning and durable. Great shoe, great service. And they look good with just about anything

Really nice boots. You’ll be happy with your purchase. One thing I have to say though, it’s true what they say about it being a half size larger than your normal size. I am size 9 1/2, I ordered a size 9 and it fit perfect. Overall the boots are really nice. Love the color and material.

Gorgeous shoe. Classic with an even better leather than I remember. The crepe sole is great for "sidling" for you Seinfeld fans out there.

Zappos-Just the best. I am an avid internet shopper...But when it comes to speed and great service, I am sure very few out there can come closer to Zappos...Shoes landed at my place within 48 hours of my order time...This is coupled with their great return policy! A Mod Classic - Timeless style and quality from Clarks - the original desert boot. Dating back to boots used by British Army officers in North Africa in WWII, the desert boot was a mandatory shoe with stylish young mods in Britain in the early sixties. These are really well made, high quality suede. Simple design that just looks good...

ascorbe - Comfortable all around shoe. I used them when I was a teenager, and still love them.

Desert boots an old friend - I started wearing Clarks Desert Boots when I was 7 years old I wore them through Grammar school and then I forgot about them for about 40 years I saw them someplace and rembered how much I used to like like them so I went online to see if they were still made, sure enough I got a pair an they are still just like I remembered them all around great.

The greatest - These make me feel like a kid again. I've had them 29 days and worn them 28. Get 'em a half to full size smaller than your normal size.

Still stylish, even after all these years - This is an amazing shoe. Everyone seems to like the look of them, and are stunned when they realize they're the old stand-by shoe from Clarks. Tips to use: 1. You need a suede brush to keep them looking fresh. 2. They tend to be a 1/2 size large. I wear a 12.5 US, and I ordered a 12 which fit fine. 3. They do need to be broken in a bit. No blisters, but some rubbing spots happened. 4. Get ready for lots of compliments.

Wonderful shoe! My husband has been wearing this shoe since the early 50's when he was a Navy pilot in CA. Now living in Casper, WY, I was so happy to come across Zappo's on-line. The entire transaction was just great and he is very happy with his new shoes.

NewFoundGlory - I heard about the in GQ and just bought them. Definately a purchase that will last through the years. They go with just about anything. Only complains would be the footbeds. Gots some gel insole and they are comfy. Lace them a little loose. It helps.

Desert Boots - This is a good looking boot. I felt the brown looked a little too dark, close to black. I was walking in the snow the other day, and these shoes were like ice skates. Other than that, some of the best shoes I've owned.

What a Find! My significant other has been looking for these shoes for a long time. I took a chance and through a Google search found them at Zappos. Turned out to be a great Christmas gift. The size was correct and I'm told they are very comfortable.

The forefoot was a little tight, but a quick trip to the local shoe repair guy fixed that--you can custom stretch real thick leather shoes - something to keep in mind. Fit like a glove now.

The Clark Desert Boot is like all Clark originals - awesome! This boot lived up to its reputation - awesome in all ways.
