I've been wearing Clarks for close to 20 years now, from the Desert Boots, Desert Trek and Desert Mali. Clarks comfort is the best, but I have flat feet so the lack of arch support doesn't bother me at all. Now, if you have high arches, these are not the boot you should be looking for. They have...well, almost no arch support. Fit: I have flat narrow feet. I wear an 11 in Nike and in most other shoes. In Clarks -- all Clarks that I listed above I wear a 10. They're a size large, I have read from other reviews that people with wide fit shoes only take a half size larger. I would recommend these to anyone. The leather is great for West Virginia winters and the suede does great in warmer weather. Highly recommend. FYI...for all you Birkenstock wearers out there. I wear a 44N in Birks and still size a whole size down.

I have never bought Clarks before but these are now my favorite shoes. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. They can be worn for casual or semi-formal occasions. They are extremely comfortable.

A classic shoe. Comfortable, looks great and couldn't be happier. Zappos quick delivery simply amazing.

Love the color and are very comfortable after initial wearing-in. But they run large. Usually wear 8.5/9 but had to drop down to 7.5.

I have owned several pairs of Clarks Desert Boots and have loved them both. Recently purchased the beeswax leather and am enjoying them. These run at least a half size, if not a full size, small. You will not be disappointed.

Although Clarks desert boot has been around forever it is still the classic chukka. Comfortable fit right out of the box.

PERFECT. I bought the Clark's Desert Boot as a gift for my son attending college. He really liked the color and the comfort. As mentioned by many reviewers, Clark's run large, therefore, you will want to buy a half to a full size smaller than your normal shoe size.

Okay, I ordered a full size smaller than I normally wear. They were super uncomfortable for about a day or two, and then magically became my most comfortable shoes. Order small and give it some time. These are quality shoes, though, and I will definitely be buying more pairs from Zappos in the future! After two weeks they look broken in a very cool.

Great boot, but they run very large. Buy a 1/2 size smaller.

A little embarrassing my son, my wife all have the same shoe. We sometimes where them at the same time, call us the Clark family!

These boots were bought as a gift for my brother. I love them, and he did as well. The color is beautiful and they look great on. Thank you again, Zappos, for the wonderful customer service, as I was unsure of his size and so had to do some trial and error!

Geeat shoes.I ordered my usual size shoe and they were a full size too long.The width was fine.I then ordered one full size smaller and they fit great.

I purchased these as a gift, and my son raves about them. They are extremely comfortable from the first time you put them on, and stylish. He already bought another pair in a different color!

Sized way big. My husband is always a size 10 and bother the 10s and the 9s were too big. We're returning both and gonna try to buy in a store next time to prevent yet another return. Thanks Zappos for your great customer service.

Love the boot, but like most others I find that I could've gone to a smaller size...even though my feet are different sizes and shoes are always a compromise. Normally one foot runs slightly roomy at 9.5, but with the desert boots it seems that both feet have too much room.

Bought these for my son whose studying abroad in Europe. He loves them! He said they were comfortable right away. No going through that painful break-in period.

Grandson loves these boots gave them to him for Christmas and he has worn them everyday since, I love Zappos, great company have been buying from them for years!

Bought these for my son for Christmas. Love the style, but they run very large...for him a full size too large. Sent them back and got smaller size and they fit ok except that they run narrow. Wish they came in wide as an option, but he'll keep them and hope they give a little.

These are a true classic. The crepe sole is as comfortable as it gets, and the footbed inside the shoe conforms to your foot over time for a perfect fit. Great with khakis or jeans.

I bought these for my husband. They are heavier than the Bass desert boots I also bought, but he likes them just as much. Says they are quite comfortable and they do look great.

Great boots, I wear them with khaki's or jeans and get a lot of love. They are comfortable for hanging out, but keep it under a mile or so at a time. I ordered 1/2 size smaller than what I actually am...and I think I could have possibly gone a full size smaller, but I like a little room...so I'm happy.

Very happy with this shoe. Bought it for the fall and early winter. The beeswax leather is holding up very well. I treated them twice with Chelsea leather food, which has waterproofed them very nicely. They are becoming more comfortable every time I wear them. They do run a little big--I normally wear an 11.5 and I bought these in an 11 and they are still slightly roomy with ski socks on.
