Overall 5 stars. But the cut is large (so size down about 1 full size), and also puts some pressure on the instep. This can be mitigated with thicker socks.
But if you’re accustomed to other boots from other manufacturers, just keep that in mind.
Fortunately, this doesn’t affect the overall style or function. After 4 years around the world, mine are still going strong!

The are the best looking boots that I have ever owned. Even though they have no arch support they are very comfortable! I feel like I’m wearing slippers all day long. I ordered a Medium width and the same size that wear in Vans. They fit great. I plan on purchasing care products on the hopes that these shoes last forever.

Classic shoe. Wore to a wedding to be more formal than my usual sneakers but not as confined as loafers. Not an overly cushioned shoe but loose enough sole to be a decent walker.

I did a lot of research before purchasing these boots, they are on the higher end of the pricing scale in comparison to other brands with the same style and they are worth every penny. The boots were broken in and felt comfortable within the first hour of normal street wear. They look great and are comfortable to wear.

love these! they do not have a ton of support, so wearing them for a long amount of time can hurt my feet. but, they are really cute and good if you aren't standing all day!

I purchased these for myself & my daughter several years ago and to date these are the most comfortable leather shoes I own! Definitely my go to for a day of lots of walking. I got the grey suede and my daughter has the taupe suede and loves hers as well. I also have them in the waxed dark brown leather. I will say the suede ones were easier to break in as the brown waxed leather is stiffer, but they are coming along. Great investments!

Have owned this pair of desert boots for 3+ years and still going strong. White gum sole has turned to a darker color but they still look snazzy with a pair of jeans for a step above casual. Would reccomend adding an insole to these guys given that the inside of the boot is pretty flat and hard.

These were either mislabeled or run about 2 sizes too big. My son is a 10.5 my husband is a size 13 these fit my husband even though we bought a 10.5 for our son.

Classic boot, works well with jeans or pants. Great way to make an outfit more stylish/dressy. Crepe sole is very comfortable but take care on slippery or wet surfaces. I ordered a size down and it fit perfectly, with or without heavy socks.

These boots are awesome. Feel comfy in all sorts of conditions (both foot comfort and stylish). I am comfortable wearing these with casual Friday work clothing and with jean and a t-shirt. Even hiking around in the desert. They are wearing well. I have had my first pair for 2 years but have a couple more pairs now.

Love the shoes! Once I got the sizing straightened out I found the shoe extremely comfortable. But make sure you order 1 size down. I have always been a size 13 in Nike running shoes but the Clarks in 13 were way too big. Re ordered size 12 and they fit perfect.

Comfy boots meant for dry weather. The boots provide no traction in rain and snow. These are quality boots at a low price point and are meant for everyday walking. One of my daily choices for walking around the city when wearing jeans. Allow for a casual look, without having to sacrifice comfort.

Best work shoe/ casual dress shoe ever. I am on my feet all day for work and these are the most comfortable dress casual type of shoes I have ever owned. I love the crepe rubber sole. I have a few pairs of these and have found that although the rubber sole does wear a little faster than other types of rubber soles they are very durable overall. The sizing is a little weird and it really helps to try on a shoe in person to nail down your size.

I bought these for my son in college. He picked out the color and we listened to the reviews, and went a 1/2 size down to a 9. He usually wears a 9 1/2.
Taupe was the color choice and he did say the heels slipped a bit on day one.
He texted me a picture with these boots on, thanking me for the purchase.
He is very happy now that he has had time to wear them around. They are broken in properly,
and the fit is perfection.

I really like Ciarks shoes. I have been wearing them for 15 years, but have not tried the desert boots. Now I have 2 pair. the second pair was a replacement for a return. These boots are fantastic.
I remain a Zappos customer and will always give them a great rating. Fun and enjoyable people to work with, I would rather call in than order on line. Any issues are always taken care of with complete understanding and quick help.
Please keep up the great customer service.

I wasn't impressed with the delivery this time. In the past I had one delivery mix up and zappos gave me the delivery at no cost and moved me to VIP. I was blown away and then continue to buy shoes and refer friends to the site. This time I got $30...appreciated but not up to par with my past inconvenience. Zappos has gone from a company that was heads and tails above the rest to just another online retailer. I know it sounds petty but going from the two extremes was a let down. I'm assuming customer support got a new director who didnt realize the value in give a little to get alot in return.
