Bought a pair of these in 1994 and in 2017 they remain solid, except the sole rubber has hardened a little so they can be slippery in the wet. I wanted to replace them and was pleased to see them still available and seemingly identical to the original. However, the original pair had a web of material between the tongue and the boot to prevent water from leaking in. The new pair has no such web, the tongue is connected only at the bottom. So they've lost practicality for wet and snowy conditions, which is how I usually use them. Unfortunate, because this isn't a costly feature to add. If water resistance around the tongue is no issue to a buyer, they're otherwise a great boot for the money.

Really nice boot, but doesn't fit. I purchased other Timberland boots with the same size and they fit fine. I feel my foot slipping out of this boot (too big).

I took these on a hiking trip after some breaking them in. I have a really narrow foot and normally wear a 7.5, however, I found my ankle slipping out a lot. I purchased a heel grip and it seemed to work a lot better, but there's still a bit of discomfort. Overall though, they're so cute and I love the coloring of them. They were a great ankle support for hiking.

Good looking boot, stiff at first. just needs breaking in as most boots. Could use better sole cushioning.

I purchased my first pair of these boots in January 1995 to wear on my honeymoon in Yosemite National Park during an El Nino winter here in California. That means there was a TON of snow on the ground and these boots didn't let me down. We did a LOT of hiking in the snow/rain and they were great. I've used these boots for the last 22 years both hiking in summer and snowshoeing in winter. I finally had to replace the boots for a new pair a couple of weeks ago. I ordered the Euro Hikers again and overall I am happy with the exception of one change that has been made to these boots since I originally purchased them in 1995...the tongue is no longer gusseted and that is a HUGE disappointment. That was my reason for not giving these boots 5 stars. I have an upcoming trip to snowshoe in Sequoia National Park and am considering purchasing a different boot for that trip due to not having the gusset on the tongue of these boots. Aside from that one disappointment, I really love these boots!
