uncomfortable - I have worn Daniel Green slippers for years. This is the first one that has never been comfortable. I have ordered two different sizes & neither fit my feet.

If they were only leather instead of man made materials... Unfortunatly I can't wear them. The man-made material, rather than leather, makes the bottom of my feet sweat terribly. This is unfortunate because I like the design, fit and look of the shoe, that's why I bought them. I would rather pay a higher price for leather and be able to wear them.
I'd also recommend:

Aunt Jamima's - I have worn your slippers for over 20 years. My husband won't let me wear them out of the house. My Doctor says I should wear them. They are good for my heel. I now have an excuse to wear them anywhere I please so and my husband can't say a word.

Take care when walking in these shoes! Unsafe for walking any distance. Foot slips off shoe too easily. Almost fell twice in 5 minutes.

Since I have a narrow, hard-to-fit foot, and slippers seldom come in a narrow width, I decided to go ahead and order another pair. This is the second pair that I've found to be below par. I've worn Daniel Green's since I lived in a dorm, and a pair previously lasted several years. They were leather, and the fit and comfort were just right. The last pair I ordered fell apart within a year, and the ones I've just gotten are from the same material.

Disappointed: Both pair of slippers had soles which had been glued to the slipper. The glue really showed up on each pair of slippers.

After wearing for about a month, the bottom began separating from the slipper. Then it began chipping in areas around the inside sole. I emailed Daniel Green, only to be ignored. Buyer beware.

I had bought this model years ago and thought they were the same, but they are not. They are more like shoes than slippers. They are hard and uncomfortable. They don't stay on my feet because the top part is too narrow (the picture is deceiving) and make a flip-flopping sound when I walk. They are flat, without any arch support. I wish that I could return them but I used them and do not have the box anymore.

These slippers started falling apart within days. They are now useless. I threw out the box (I was moving), so I don't think I can send them back. They're not cheap.

Does not feel right - I bought this sandal online since I liked the looks. However, the insole felt like it were rubber-coated. My feet got sweat-soaked when I wore these sandals barefoot; with tights they felt like wearing a rubber gym-shoe. These sandals just do not give the foot-pampering effect you would expect when looking at the pictures. In my opinion, they feel about as comfortable as rubber garden boots.
I'd also recommend:
Take genuine leather, but not this kind of man-made material.

I have been wearing Daniel Green Dormie's for years and put them on almost every day. I would love it if they could make the heel a little higher.

Changes: stiching on the edge of inner sole - I am now purchasing items for my mother, who is 80 years of age and has worn Daniel Green slippers for at least 45 to 50 years. Back to the changes of the inner sole: Mother does not like the stitching on the edges of the inner sole. I am purchasing anyway because she will only wear Daniel Green Slippers.
