Love My Daniel Green Dormies - I have been wearing Daniel Green Dormies for years. Although it is difficult to find them in department stores these days, I was thrilled to find them available online at Zappos.com. The price was reasonable and the shipment and delivery was fast. They arrived in perfect condition.

Did not work for me - I found these slippers to be very hard to keep on my feet because they were not narrow enough for me. They also seemed rather hard, although everyone else who wrote about them thought they were comfortable.

Daniel Green's - I have looked in every store for the Daniel Green's. I looked every where on the internet but the prices were too high. I found the slipper I wanted at a very good price. The first pair I purchased did not fit correctly. I returned the shoes at Zappos expense and was immediately sent a new pair that fits perfectly.

They started out feeling comfortable but by the end of the evening the balls of my feel hurt so much. This was surprising since there isn't much height. Hopefully after wearing more they will be more comfortable

W means WIDE for sure. I actually never buy wide shoes even tho I have fat feet. I know Daniel Green appeals to let's say a more upper tier of women than my Irish peasant self so I thought wide would be the way to go. No!! Very very wide.

Shoes were not true to size. I wear(M) shoes all the time. I reordered in wide width and they fit smaller and tighter than the medium that I returned.

Definitely unhappy with the quality of the material used for the inside sole. After a month of wear, it begins deteriorating and looks shabby.

They are the right size, and very cute, but they rub my toes. I am sure I would get blisters if I wore them any length of time.

I've worn these for years, way back when they were leather and felt good. Now they are stiff, no longer flexible. I won't buy again. My disappointment is with Daniel Green; not Zappos.

Not for high arches! Although I ordered these based on the great reviews and the cute "dormie" look, for my feet they are NOT the comfy slippers I expected. I took them on a trip and after wearing them for a few hours, the scratchy metallic flecks in the fabric (black and silver) rubbed me entirely the wrong way....leaving big, painful red spots on the tops of BOTH my feet (could be my arches are just too high for this style). I ended up coming home without these...I left them at the hotel as an extra tip for a very nice staff person who was totally thrilled with them (though I know Zappos would've taken them right back as their service is always the BEST). Meanwhile, I ordered something else from Zappos, an Onex slide, a brand that works for my narrow, high arched feet and is totally comfy on ME!

Old Habits Die Hard - I've owned this shoe in various sizes and colors for 45 years. It is not the best slipper, but it is like an old friend.

I buy these but they do not last long. They are not made as well as the Daniel Greens I know from years ago, but they are comfortable and fit my foot. I like the open toe.

Daniel Green disappointment - The Dormie has a very good heel height. I expected the narrow material that hugs the foot to stay narrow, but after wearing them for a few days, my toes were out of the front where they were touching the floor. I'm sure this pair is defective, although with a previous pair I experienced the same thing as they got older. I tried a pair that is closed in the front and the back, but the slipper was so flat that I could not wear them. I have flat feet also and those turned into flat useless discards. I wish that Daniel Greene would make a closed toe slipper with the same heel height as the Dormie. I cannot wear a higher heel than the Dormie.

Dormie Review - Am very disappointed with this slipper. Have been wearing this slipper for many years and this is the most uncomfortable for me. They look good but difficult to walk in them as the sole does not give at all. Instead of all "man made material" if they at least had a leather sole as they used to would make them better.

Make giant feet look even bigger - I wear size 10.5M-11M usually. I got these shoes in a 10.5M, they fit fine. But they LOOK too small. They look too narrow - you can't see any of the shoe part on the sides of my toes. These shoes make my feet look even more enormous than they already are.

Eh - I'm not a big fan of these slippers. The picture is a good representation of what they look like in person, though the silver does have a bit of a goldish tinge. I found the soles to be very slick and did not find the slipper particularly comfortable, though I am used to a plusher style. These seem more like a shoe to me than a slipper.

Comfort - This slipper is not as comfortable as other Daniel Green slippers I have had . It is not as soft and an area close to the toes has padding that is uncomfortable

This shoe would probably be very comfortable, but the "S" was not very narrow. My narrow foot would slip right through.

Slipper - Somewhat different from how they were years ago. They are stiffer now, less flexible. Otherwise, fine.

Daniel Green Dormie - Was looking for a comfortable attractive sandal for a wide foot. These are hard to find, and after buying this sandal I am still looking. Its toe is too narrow to be comfortable for my foot. But until I find something better, I will wear these.

Older ladies' slide - I've been looking for a comfortable slide for a couple of years now, in white without the black chunky heel. I thought these would do the trick, but they are more like my grandma's style indoor slipper - something the ladies in Boca Raton would wear...I'm only 31! lol - but I will keep them. They are very comfortable, and will be a great weekend accessory.
