Older ladies' slide - I've been looking for a comfortable slide for a couple of years now, in white without the black chunky heel. I thought these would do the trick, but they are more like my grandma's style indoor slipper - something the ladies in Boca Raton would wear...I'm only 31! lol - but I will keep them. They are very comfortable, and will be a great weekend accessory.

Slippers - Your service is always superb, which I greatly appreciate and will have me continuing to return. As for the D. Green slippers I was disappointed they were not leather, but man made material. Probably my mistake in not reading the discription correctly. I'm wearing them and they are not that bad, but still wish they made of real leather. Sincerely, Julie M.

slippers - The leather on this slipper isn't as soft as I had experienced years before with this same product. The left shoe left a pink spot on the bone of my foot.

Great Shoe! My mother-in-law is 90 years old. She loves this shoe and had not been able to find the correct size in years. She really needed the narrow shoe with a quad-A heel and so I looked on the internet. WOW! What a thrill for her and what a treat for me to see the great shoe, the right size and the best customer care I have seen in years. My mother-in-law was not surprised, but very happy. She said Daniel Green was always a "cut above the rest" and for the first time, she was pretty excited about the new computer shopping age. Great experience overall. Thanks. Jan E.

Daniel Green's Dormie - I didn't give it a top rating as I would have in the past because, they have changed the bottom of the slipper. I buy them but the bottom is slippery and I've now taken 3 hard falls because of them and I've notified the company, too. They need to put something like a skid sole or go back to their old one. I've worn the Dormie since early sixties and I never fell in any of the old type soles EVER! On this one, one can slip with no water on the floor whatsoever!

Slipper too tight - I have a very wide foot, and I thought these would be ok. However, after wearing them around the house ... they're just too tight. They are a size 5 W ... but still too tight.

Dormie Slipper - The design of this slipper has been changed from it's original style and I am not happy with the way it fits now. I have worn Daniel Greene Dormies since I can remember and they never had a crease over the top of the foot. Now the slipper fits tighter and the crease rubs my foot and is very uncomfortable.

Width problem - I ordered several pairs of these slippers because they looked like the same one I've used for years. However, I wear a 9 1/2B slipper and my daughter wears a 10B slipper. When I saw Medium, I assumed it meant B; but they were much wider. An M does not = a B. Also the blue were much brighter than the blue I had remembered. I thought they would be a pale blue or lighter blue. I find myself wearing just the white and bone colored ones I ordered; but not the blue nor black.

You Changed Them - I have worn these shoes for about 20 years. They were perfect for my 7AA foot and were one of the few slippers that come in narrow widths. Since you have started stitching the sole down, it makes them feel too large on my foot. I have been wearing my old ones for the past 2 years because the new ones don't feel right.

These slippers are no longer real and true narrows. Fall off and make walking down tiled stairs very noisy, and dangerous.

These look very nice on her, but she wore them to a school dance and got a blister. She does not have a narrow foot, but the part that goes over the top of her foot is too loose. Daniel Green's Dormie - I would like to see and feel this shoe in leather because our feet are older and need more comfort. We pay for the leather and should not receive PLEATHER (leather dose make a better Shoe).

The Rubber Sole is not practical for a house slipper. I have been wearing Daniel Green house slippers for many years and have always had "leather soles" on my shoes. Having recently come out of the hospital I put on the new slippers which stuck on the carpet and I nearly fell forward into a wall. Luckily I caught myself and no damage was done, but feel that I am going to return the shoes. I will not be able to drive for another week so I will return them at that time.

Daniel Greene's dormie quality improvement recommendation - Even though this kind of shoe is a dormie, the quality of the material used (made in China) and the sole is very poor compared to that used before, when it was manufactured in the U.S.A long time ago.The inner synthetic lining is very rough, the cushioned insole is very thin, it has poor arch support and the synthetic outsole, made of rubber, keeps the dust attached to it. The leather outsole used years ago was better because it kept the dust away from it. The width WW (extra wide) is narrower than marked. The shoe is true to size (length). The classic design is still nice and elegant. Please, try to improve it! Thanks!
