Birkenstock Milanos - Being a guy that had to be eased in to the whole sandal thing by my girlfriend, I was told Birk's are very comfortable. I didn't believe it. I was debating if I should spend $100.00 on a pair of sandals. I bought a pair of Milanos and I have changed my mind. These sandals are cool. A little costly, but seem to be worth it. If you want to wear socks with them, get a size bigger than your normal shoe size.

Great Sandals, Birkenstock Milano - I bought these shoes for my teenage son. He wanted them for the style and comfort he had heard about them. Everything totally met his expectations and he is very pleased with them. Also pleased with the service and shipping we receive from Zappos each time we place an order.

My Second Pair - I ordered size 37 and I usually wear a size 7.5 wide...and they fit perfectly. I love these shoes and I wear the brown leather ones with everything. The second time around they take no time to break in.

A classic - If you like the Birkenstock fit (and I do) this is a great sandal. The nubuk is nice leather, softer than then the plain leather, but of course mmore prone to stains.

Excellent summertime shoe. Very comfortable as one would expect from a Birkenstock.

Birks Rock! This is my second pair of these versitile, stylish sandals and I love them as much as the first! Very comfortable in any situation.

LOVE!!! I purchased this pair for my husband (his first pair of Birks). He absolutely loves them! He has a very wide foot and is difficult to fit,these shoes were no problem. he is already requesting his second pair. The shipping was fantastic, they arrived the next day.

Great sandals - Exactly what I hoped for. Black color makes a welcome change from the typical brown.

Love my sandals, just had to tell you I usually wear a size 40 but, needed a 39 in this shoe. I have always had great dealings with the folks at Zappos and I love all my Birkies. This is a comfortable sandal and will wear them all summer.

I love my Birks, currently, it's the only brand I'm wearing. Birks are comfortable and sturdy. Once you know your size you can order without having to try them on because the sizes stay the same.

Great sandals! The sandals are wonderful, but the sizing does run on large. I normally wear a 9.5 or 10. I ordered a size 42 (9-9.5) and it is a little too big. A size 41 probably would have been perfect.

Zappos is the best - I can't say a ton about the sandals yet as I just got them, but I cannot say enough about Zappos. The shipping was unbelievable, got them within 24 hours with free shipping! Thanks a bunch.

We were planning a trip to Hawaii and I had been having a lot of trouble with my feet - which caused hip and leg problems. I bought this pair of sandals and wore them around the house for a week or so to break them in and then walked all over Maui in them. Wonderful!

Tall Men - I bought these for my husband who is 6-foot 9-inches. He is only 31 and finding hip cloths for him is very difficult. No retail stores had Birks his size and these look great and actually fit.

Twenty Years - The last pair I had of these lasted twenty years of summer casual wear. I had them resoled once and I am not making this up. Maybe I am easy on shoes, but Birkenstocks are worth the extra money in the long run. As others have mentioned, the back strap makes this model very practical, as sandals go.

Birkenstocks, amazing quality and comfort - I have very low arches (almost flat) and I also pronate (or roll my feet inwards) causing much lower back, calf, and arch pain in my body. Then I bought a pair of Birkenstock Milanos and now there’s no more pain when standing for 8 solid hours or more; I can walk for miles and miles in these. I was ecstatic. If you pronate your feet, have low arches, heel pain, or supinate (roll your feet outward) you should get these shoes. It's an investment well worth making; these will be your favorite pair of sandals. And Zappos is always super fast and friendly.

As always, top quality! Several years ago, my doctor recommended Birkenstocks as a good sandal with support. I was sure they would be unattractive. I was pleasantly surprised at their attractive styling and love the comfort. I wear nothing else all spring summer and fall. I highly recommend them as outstanding value for the money. They last forever! I will never buy anything but Birkenstocks again!

$100.00 for a pair of sandals!? For six years, I wore a pair of $35.00 Birkenstock knockoffs. (Winters in Chicago are too cold to be wearing sandals, even with socks, even inside.) When they wore out, in a rare moment of extravagance, I paid almost $100.00 in 2000 for a pair of brown leather Milanos. Funny thing. I didn't think anything of running out to move the lawn sprinkler in the knockoffs and getting them wet. Not so with the Milanos. I bought a pair of rubber Okibashi sandals for that particular task. What I paid for those Milanos was the most I have ever paid for a pair of footwear in my life. They didn't fit any differently than the knockoffs, they took the same amount of time to break in (about two weeks), and they look the same. The only difference was the Birkenstock logo embossed into the leather, and that ain't worth $65.00. Never again will I pay that kind of premium for a brand name. I have more important things to spend my money on. Like groceries, heat and electricity.

Love my Birks! I think Birkenstock sandals are the best thing I have ever done for my feet. They give me support just where I need it and are so comfortable that I forget I am even wearing anything on my feet.

Back strap is a good feature - I have probably 20 pairs of Birkenstocks but this is the first backstrap model I have purchased, and it really makes a difference in the feel of walking. It gives my lower legs a break from the gripping necessary to keep the non back strap models on. I really like it! I had been feeling some shin pain from always walking around in the other models. Looks-wise, I think it could use a couple interesting details, and I am thinking about attempting to put a couple silver studs on them somewhere.

Excellant - The shoes were a Christmas present for my son and he only wears Birkenstocks and is very excited about his new shoes. I was very impressed with the shipping it only took two days to get here. Thank you very much.
