Comfortable walking sandal for summer walking - Excellent sandal for walking around a city in the summer. Good looking and very comfortable. The overall quality is very good and the sandals required no breaking in. Arch support is good. I would highly recommend these sandals. This was my first Birkenstock purchase and it will not be my last.

Classic Birks - This shoe is extremely comfortable, and feels durable. My walk already feels different, more centered and steady. I want to get the Birkenstocks with the open back too!

Love my Birkies! These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn...and I am very serious about the comfort of my feet...I have hiked the ocean beaches and the high desert in them...they are perfect!

Great comfort - Kept hearing how great Birkenstocks are but I didn't think they were very stylish. Well, I finally broke down and bought a pair and now I'm wondering why it took me so long. I can wear these all day and my back doesn't hurt and my feet are pain-free. Comfort, comfort, comfort beats "cute."

True Birkenstock quality - I just bought my third pair of Milanos. This is the only sandal I've been able to wear for extensive walks on vacation; they stood up to 12-15 hours a day of European streets without a single blister or sore toe. They look great even after getting rained on. Even though I have pairs of the Arizona style as well and love them, the Milanos have a superior fit in my opinion. The arch is a bit higher (a good thing for me), and the heel strap means I don't walk out of them on stairs or twist my ankle as I have done with the Birk Arizona and Madrid. My only wish is that they came in more colors. They do take a longer break-in period than the Arizona, but once past that, there's nothing like them. Comments on sizing are based on my knowledge of how Birks run.

Birkenstock to the rescue - I'll admit I really resisted buying Birkenstock shoes for a long time. I viewed them as “hippy shoes,” and frankly, thought they were over priced. After struggling with foot pain, OTC insoles, custom orthotics – the whole nine yards – I decided to give them a try. Now I have four pair and my foot pain is 99% gone. I just wish they made a work boot!

I never write reviews, but wanted to write a review about the wonderful service Zappos provides. I love the shoes. I have always bought Docs; this is my first Birkenstock purchase. Birkenstock seems to be as good of quality as Doc Marten, I am completely satisfied. Zappos service is excellent. I ordered my shoes late one night and received them the very next day and didn't pay extra for shipping. I still can't figure out how I received them so quickly. This is not my first purchase with Zappos and it will definitely not be the last. Excellent service!

I'm in heaven - I've been wearing Birkenstocks for years, but I just have to say these are the absolute best! I am on my feet for 12-13 hours at a time and after a day wearing these Milanos my feet don't ache and neither does my back or hips.

Excellent Quality - These sandals are excellent - well made and extremely comfortable. I wear them constantly, and they last a good two to three years before I need a new pair.

Birkenstock Milano - Cocoa Nubuck - I love my birks! These new shoes actually replaced my very first pair of Birks - also the Milano. They were 13 years old. I bought them just before a vacation - I walked everywhere in them and did so for most of every summer since. They are very comfortable and offer a lot of support. I finally had to get new ones so I could - you guessed it - wear them for another vacation! I also bought another pair of Birks from you this summer - a thong style - also very comfortable. I have enjoyed all my purchase experiences with your company. I have purchased items for other family members. Everyone is more than satisfied with the purchases and the customer service is excellent! I had a question regarding 1 of my orders and the reply was very prompt - even during a weekend evening! The orders arrived within a few days of placing my order - and I signed up for standard (free) shipping! Amazing!

Love them - I have had these sandals for a year now. They are the only thing I put on at home and at work in the summer.

Just what I was looking for... This is one the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I have a pair of the Birk clogs, but these are the perfect sandal for summer. I live in Texas so it's perfect for spring too. I would buy them again and again.

Milanos - The Birkenstock Milano sandal is superb. I would recommend this sandal for those who have flat feet or desire more arch support for their feet. I have compared this Milano sandal with other types of Birkenstock types of sandals, and I think the Milano sandal is by far better than the other types of sandals because it gives an extra large arch for your foot and it has a thick backstrap giving you the ability to run or move faster without the fear that your sandal will fall off.

Love my Birks! This is my second pair of Birk Milanos...my last pair finally died after nearly 10 years. The leather was still in excellent conditions, but the cork sole finally fell apart, even after a few repairs. 10 years of heavy use though--doesn't get much better that that! This new pair is just as great--super comfortable and I love the look. I personally wear mine even in cold weather--just with some socks. They are (for me) a full size larger--I order the 30, when I normally wear a 40. They also run wide--they are perfect for me, but my feet are pretty wide.

First Birks for me! This is my first pair of Birkenstock's. They took a bit of getting use to, but I am finding them to be one of my favorite pair of shoes.

This is my 4th pair. I still have the others from 5 years ago. They wear very well, and are extremely comfortable. I like the fact that they can be repaired and be "brought back to life."
