Zappos does it again... It’s hard to believe, but ZAPPOS did it again. I placed an order; they match the price from another shop, they make it ULTRA easy and BAM, 2 days later I have a pair of shoes (boots) at my door! Exactly as ordered, perfect fit, great boots and my first in this series. Thanks again ZAPPOS for making my second (DOC MARTIN) purchase so easy!! Will be shopping here (again) in future...

I Like Docs - I couldn't remember the size of the boots the last time I ordered them. Zappos was great when I needed to return the originally ordered boots for a smaller size. I just wish I'd traded in for two sizes smaller. I'm sure I'll get it right in another 5 years when I reorder these same boots. I love them.

If you like Docs then they are great - I have always liked the feel of Doc Martens, after they are broken in, and these are no different. I love them.

Zappo,s is great! Zappo's beat another online shoe store's price. Ordered boot's on Sunday. I had them 2 days later on Tuesday. The boots took a few days to break in. They are very comfortable now. This was the 2nd time I've ordered w/Zappo's. the only way to buy shoes!

These boots Rock - I ordered these for my boyfriend. These are the only boots he will buy and wear!! They are durable, comfortable, great looking and affordable.

Great boot when they break in! The fact of the matter is that you can't go wrong with Dr. Martens, and as much as I like my new boots, I was a little surprised at the time it took to break them in. Not so much the soles but the ankle and leg (top of the boot) support. (The friction pulled the hair off my legs!) So if you don't mind wearing thick socks for a day or two these boots are great. (Have them on now)

Steel Toe Doc - I needed a shoe I could wear onto a jobsite, but wanted one that I might wear when not at work. This was the shoe! It looks great, but the steel toe makes it a little heavy. Overall, I love it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for that elusive, sharp looking steel toe.

Excellent Boots! These boots are great! They're very easy to break in. I haven't noticed any difference in quality from the old "Made in England" boots I had in the past and these, which were made in China. This is my first pair of 8761s. I wore 1919s for years. Just thought I'd try something new. ZAPPOS.COM! <--- I love these guys!!! Thanks!

Solid, comfortable boot - Great steeltoed boot that looks good and feels very comfortable. My last pair of Dr Martens (not steeltoed) held up for 6 years before the toe collapsed. I think these will last for years.

Second times the charm - I had already written a review on these shoes once, but here I am again. I bought the first pair for my husband, and after a few weeks use, the stiching around the sole come loose letting water in. So we returned them, and got another pair. This pair has done much better. He loves these shoes, no break in time. I just believe the first pair had a defect when they were made.

I just love 'em! I'm a long-time fan of Docs. I haven't really been able to wear my old original made-in-England Docs since I've had two kids, as your feet can gain a full size, and never go back! So I've put my current 7 pairs away and ordered these boots. They do feel larger than marked. I used to wear a 3UK, and I ordered a 4UK. They felt so large that I then ordered a 3UK, and tried both pairs before deciding which pair to keep. I ended up sticking with the 4, since I like double thick insoles. I also ended up putting an arch support under the insoles. I've never had the steel toe, which I always wanted, but I could never get in my small size, even when I ordered directly from England. I like the steel, and though the boots are a bit heavy, I got used to it quickly. I didn't have any problems with rubbing or blisters, the boots were quite comfy from the first. The only place that needed breaking in for me was around the top of the boot. The leather was stiff at first, and pressed into my ankle. I used the Wonder Balsam and it seemed to soften the leather. I love the look of the boot, the fit and the feel; I love the bottom, which is thicker than the original sole. Quality doesn't seem to be an issue at this point; the boots seem well made despite the fact that they're not made in England any more. All stitching is even and tight, and the soles are grippy, but not too soft. The leather is stiff, which may be a little uncomfortable at first (although it wasn't for me except at the very top, just wear thick, higher socks) but the thicker leather will break in and last longer than a more supple leather. Zappos was super, as usual. It's my favorite place for shoes. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Style - I got this shoe for my husband as a present and he loved them...Actually I couldn't find them anywhere, I've been looking for this shoe for the past years and I finally found them here at Zappos.com. He loved them and goes with everything and I personally think they are hot and never got out of style....

Best Boots around - I've been wearing Doc Martins for quite a number of years now... This specific model is one of the long lasting models as opposed to the other versions. Last pair I had lasted me roughly 6 years before they finally gave up!! This boot is well worth the cost!

Great Buy - I purchased these boots for my husband, and he absolutely loves them. I got them for him to wear to work, but he wears them all the time. I would recommend them to anyone.

Take a while to break in - They take a while to break in so they're not extremely comfortable yet. I've owned a pair of these before and after you break them in they're fantastic. The look is excellent I'm sure I'll keep these shoes for a long time!

8761 Docs - Great boot, wicked looks. Using as motorcycle boot also, toe a little large (remember its steel), but works well. All around awesome boot.

Perfect For My Job - While traveling, I failed to pack my favorite boots. Zappo's came to the rescue! Not only did they stock my boots, but they delivered them to my hotel quickly. As for the boots: Yes, they're imposing - but incredibly comfortable & ankle-supportive, with great traction.

Still good with me - I bought these as a replacement for an old pair of docs that fell apart after almost 4 years of being worn pretty much every day. Like all docs I've owned, all I had to do was toss some gel insoles in them and wear them with thicker socks for 2 or 3 days, and then they were pliable and comfy. Steel to help keep my toes safe at the punk shows makes me happy too. Docs aren't docs if they're not steel.

Love em - I love the look and quality. They are taking a while to break in, but just wear two pairs of socks and you will be fine. Had to cross an ankle deep puddle and was suprised that only the top of my feet by the eyeholes were all that was wet.

To your designers - I am a female. I got my steel toed boots to wear while I roto till crabgrass in clay soil on my grounds. Since I don't have an out house. I end up tracking mud through the patio, kitchen, hallway and into the bathroom 3-4 times a day. There has to be a better way to fasten work boots. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love you for it.

Great Boot, Great Service! Boots are terrific looking. Takes a bit of time to break-in wearing two socks. Tight across the arch, seam bulk cuts slightly, but all in all, the boot is great.

Exceeded Expectations - Great boots. Very sturdy. Came a little bigger than expected, so order a little smaller than you would otherwise. Steel toe makes for difficult passage through metal detectors.

Arse kickin'! Classic uncomfort say bye, bye. This sole is .7 times better than the og... Is that good? Not so much. They do, however, exactly what you'd expect them to...
