This stuff is awesome. Put some on new pair of Doc Marten boots, let it sit overnight, wiped off and was able to wear the boots on a 9 hour shift. Cut the break in time down drastically. Used some on old shoes. It made them look and feel great. I'm buying more as some as it runs out.

Dr. Martin Wonder Balsam is the best balsam out there, I used it my old Dr. Martin boots. They lasted seven years. The leather is still so conditioned to this day. There are no cracks or tears. I just ordered a new pair of Dr. Martin boots just the other day to replace my old ones which I will still wear as knock arounds as they still have several years left. Thanks, Dr. Martin for making such a good product.

Tried this on my new expensive leather shoes, wine colored, and I am amazed how easy it was and how beautiful it left them shining and protected from the elements. Your reviews helped me make my decision to purchase this fine product. Highly recommend it.

I like the product after using it once. It was easy to apply to my boots and seems to protect the leather. I think for the price there should be more product but that is not a Zappos issue. Fast delivery. I will use Zappos again.

We just purchased our (at least) third container of Dr. Martens Wonder Shoe Balsam. We were hesitant to purchase this newly packaged balsam, fearing that it might not be the same great leather conditioning product (previously in a silver/gray plastic can) but our fears were needless (it appears to be the same product with a single sponge applicator). We polished our most scuffed pair of old shoes and they look great! We are traveling and did not have our normal shoe shine equipment so we used a disposable duster to buff the balsam into the leather and it worked fine. We will condition the leather on our new pair of Pajars because the balsam excellently protects against winter salt stains. Thanks Zappos for continued great fast service and products.

Love it, it works great and goes on easy. You don't even need to apply that much. I highly recommend it. It will darken the leather a little bit though.

Love this shoe balm! I bought it for the first time back when I was 16 for my Docs so when I bought my daughter her first Docs I had to get this! It's a must have!

Bought this for my brand new Jadon boots. 'Worked great to protect them from the salt & elements all winter long! A must for your Doc Martens.

I love this stuff. I originally bought a jar 5 years ago for some raw leather boots I had, and it worked wonders. I use it now to keep my work shoes conditioned and scuff-free. The price is very reasonable, and I forsee myself repurchasing again and again- though, a jar last forever so it's rarely necessary to do so. I love that they've upgraded from plastic to metal, too.

Fantastic, This product is a 100% natural "old-school" method for treating and protecting leather. It's not messy and comes in neat can with applicator. I use it on all leather and very glad I found it.

Bought the Shoe Balsam after reading the reviews. It lives up to what I was expecting. I have used it on my Keens, Birkenstocks and my Dr. Martens. It applies quickly and evenly without making the leather look over glossy like overdressed car tires. I was skeptical, but the balsam does a great job of repelling water spots and the muck from parking lots and city streets. I work in sales and spend most of the day running in and out of offices and driving all over the DC metro area. My shoes take a beating, but look tip-top. Considering that only a small amount is needed to get the desired results, the balsam is a bargain. It's the best shoe dressing that you haven't tried yet. Get some!

Works "wonders" on leather goods. Purchased the balsam for Dr. Martens "2216" soft greasy work shoes. They are not waterproof so the balsam is a welcoming protector. Good stuff.

Wonderful product. I just bought two pairs of Doc Martens and got caught in some nasty weather with one pair. A tiny swipe of the sponge and my shoes looked like they came out of the box. I also tried it on my 4-year-old Frye boots and the product gave new life to a pretty beat up pair of boots. So I put it on all my old shoes and boots and got great results. I even tried it on my leather bags. It seems to make the scuff marks much less visible, and gives whatever item I've used it on a nice sheen. I will definitely purchase more when it runs out, and highly recommend it.

I bought this to care for my Dr. Martens I also purchased from Zappos. Great stuff! I use it on my non-Dr Marten shoes and works just as well. Follow the directions on can and shoes shine up wonderfully.

I love this stuff. I use it on all my leather boots and shoes (excluding suede and nubuck). A can goes a long way, even though I purchased three :) The balsam doesn't darken my lighter-shaded leather much, if at all, depending on the shoe. Very happy.

This is one of the best leather shoe conditioners and protectors I have used. I use it on new shoes and boots to give them moisture protection (we have a lot of humidity). It also brings old, worn leather back to life.

This is an amazing product. I was getting ready to throw out my favorite 8 year old black leather Mary Janes (Ecco) because they have white top stitching, and using black shoe polish on them didn't make sense. They were looking sad and tired but still had a lot of life left in them. I used a little bit of this product and am now wearing my shoes again! The balsam didn't change the integrity of the top stitching... it just made the leather look brand new. I've now "polished" all my leather shoes. Will order this balsam again!

This stuff is amazing. I bought some in hopes to revive a pair of Docs I have had since the 80's. Those boots have been through just about anything you can imagine and still look presentable after using this. It also helps soften the leather on new ones.

Works really well at cleaning the salt out of the leather and keeps it looking like new. It doesn't shine the leather. It comes with a sponge in the can and it only takes a little bit of the balsam to bring back the original black color. It also removed some light scuffs. I use on my Salford Work Slip On shoe.

By far, some of the best leather dressing I have ever used. Just wash your hands after applying to whatever you wish to protect. The sponge applicator that comes with this gets quite full of the product. But a minor inconvenience as this stuff really works. Waterproofing, reconditioning, and just general leather care - you won't be disappointed.

This stuff is amazing. Works with any color shoe; returning them to almost brand new. Great deal.

This stuff works great! It brought back the color on a grey pair of boots that I have had trouble finding a polish match for. The boots had a nice weathered detail to them that I was afraid would go away with a colored polish. This Balsam did the trick. It even helped lessen the scratches on the back of the heel from driving and chair rails etc. The little sponge is separated by an internal cap, good packaging to keep at home...the top would come off easily if traveling. I will buy this again and maybe before I need to for fear that Zappos will stop carrying it

"Wonder" full stuff. I applied this to the new Doc boots I got before Christmas and after several snow days and tons of salt and much the boots look as new as the day I got them. I now apply this balsam to all my leather shoes to keep them looking good. Great stuff, I've already used this for two pairs of Doc Boots and several dress shoes. There is still plenty left in the can to last me many more applications. Well worth the money.

This shoe balsam is amazing. My tired faded leather is like new again. Shoe polish never worked like this! I used it on my brown leather Lucchese boots and my navy leather Coach purse, both very expensive items. I am sorry that it took me so long to find ths incredible product.
