High quality; long lasting. I bought it for my husband's favorite golf shoes. I actually used it yesterday to shine up my husband's leather recliner in a pinch. Worked great and only used a very small fraction of the jar on the recliner. So you can imagine how long it lasts, and how well it looks on leather shoes.

Small can, but goes a long way! This stuff makes my doc's look brand new, and keeps water and snow out. Great product!

Doc Martins wonder balm is lovely. It is fragrance free which is great, because I have allergies. It goes on smoothly and does not leave any residue so it won't smudge. It can be used on any leather shoes KR boots, just not on suede leather. I will purchase 2 more cans, also 2 more pairs of Doc Martins. Keep up the good work Zappos! I have you on speed dial (actually you are on my cell phone and tablet...lol) so I can order on the go. I hope my review is helpful, I can really recommend this product.

Great for leather boots! It will darken the color, but for the better in my opinion. Tried it on an old pair 15+ years old and they look almost new!! Very cool product!

Impressive! "Healed" my scuffed & scarred steel-toe Doc Martens & brought them to like-new condition! Somewhere else on the web I read Wonder Balsam was "good for all our shoes." FYI, note that is not the case. The D.M. company responded to my e-mail & stated not to use this product on "nubuck." This leather has the same properties as a suede material and we would not advise putting Wonder Balsam on them. This should only be cleaned and then brushed.

This shoe balsam is a must for anyone who has Dr. Martens boots or shoes. It cleans and conditions the leather and makes it better than new. I highly recommend this product. Don't wait to buy this balsam, show your boots that you care about them!

Great product, been using it for a couple months on my Doc Martens as well as some other leather shoes. It allows you to keep your leather shoes in tip-top shape very easily. I thought I had ruined a pair of shoes and this just brought them right back to life. Perfect for less formal shoes where you don't want a shine anyway.

I use this product on everything but my Rolex watch. I have several leather wallets and belts that were over ten years old and this Wonder Balsam made them shine like new again. I give my Dr. Marten shoes a coat right out of the box and I receive many compliments on the beautiful shine of my shoes. Dr. Martens are the only brand of shoes I will wear. A+ for such a great treatment product for leather products.

Excellent product; simple and effective. What I generally do is clean the shoe/boot and leave just a little bit of moisture on the surface. Then apply the wax and rub it into the leather a bit. Let it dry for a few hours and then buff it briefly to remove the excess and bring it to a very natural level of polish; nothing too shiny. It may be possible to get a high level of shine with this but I've personally never done it. It tends to last me about a week in snow/salt in winter but does a great job of protecting my leather boots and shoes so they are easier to clean each time!

Wait, you own a pair of Docs and you don't have the Wonder Balsam?! Buy it, treat your shoes well and they'll reciprocate.

When you buy a pair of Dr. Martens you buy a tin of this. Regular applications of the Wonder Balsam speeds up the break-in phase and help keep your Docs looking right.

I bought this based on the stellar reviews to help restore a pair of Cole Haan lace up boots that I have had since 1989. The boots have contrasting stitching so one is limited by what you can use - polish would alter the look of the boots so this was not an option in my book. Truth be told I have done little than apply saddle soap more than 10 years ago. The boots have a wonderful worn look, but the leather was getting so dry after years of wearing in snow, rain, and other harsh conditions. I wanted something that would restore the boots to their prior glory - still looking worn but restored (if that makes sense). Given the price and that the product is not colored I figured I had nothing to loose. Well, I could not be happier with the results - the leather of the boots look a good 15 years younger. The boots have been hit against rocks and curbs, so there is no way these would ever look new again and that is not something I would want. In short the product is wonderful and I could not recommend it enough! Probably the only thing these would not work well on is polished dress shoes, but this stuff is a miracle worker for boots and casual shoes. For less than this cost how can you go wrong?

The shoe cream/balsam works as usual. If you don't want you hands or clothes to get greasy, use a towel/gloves.

I ordered it on a Thursday at 2pm and got it the next day morning (amazing). I've heard of this product and always wanted to give it a try so I opened it and used it on the handles of my leather purse right after I got it and it works like MAGIC. I can't wait to try it on my shoes when I get home. The price is reasonable, comes super fast, why hesitate? get it!

Excellent! Gently cleans softens and preserves without dulling leather. A little goes a long way. And not stinky either! Container simple genius with mini tin that helps extend the life of the sponge and keeps the balm from drying out. Yay, Doc Martens!

Wonder Balsam is a great value. It keeps your leather looking fresh, buffing out scrapes and scuffs while also acting as a conditioner. It is clear, so there no color-matching or staining issues to worry about. Wonder Balsalm comes in a fist sized tin which contains enough product for over a year's worth of applications, depending on how often it is used and the style of your shoe (full-sized boots will require more than chukkas). In short, Wonder Balsam is a solid product at a good value. Buy it.

This stuff is awesome. Used it on my fairly broken in Clarks Desert Boots. It brought back the original depth in the color of the leather without leaving the surface shining. Now I have supple, worked in leather with a great, original color.

I immediately went to work and put this on all my boots. So far it worked as all the other reviewers have said.

Works great on any leather shoes... I put this on my Dr. Marten's and clarks regularly... It's especially good for them prior to going back up north (Canada) to visit in the winter. Seals the shoe keeping the leather resilient in the wet weather...

This is a tried and true product! I learned about this terrific aid for shoes and handbags when my now grown kids were in high school! They were around before then and are still there for everyone to have on hand and use time after time! Get one now!

This balm is a cut above some other miracle leather products that tout great results. I often worry that I am going to be rubbing on some leather finish that will go on all right, but turn to a tacky, white-ish substance that cannot be removed. Doc's balm reminds me of the high quality mink oil you can no longer get, goes on then disappears into the shoe, revitalizing the leather.
