Exactly what I wanted - Basically, that's what these shoes are. I'd wanted a pair like this forever and after seeing them here, had to get them. They came sooner than scheduled (which is always a plus) and they were as amazing as I'd hoped. Basically, they are my new favorite pair of shoes, even if I can't always wear them.

5 star company - We are very happy with our purchase through your on line store. My son has big feet and most of the local stores don't carry his size in the styles he likes. To add icing to the cake your company over nighted our purchase with out an extra cost. We will be buying more shoes through your store.

Great looking boots - These boots were exactly what I was looking for. They fit like I expected and the quality is top notch.

Bloody great shoe! I've always been a great fan of Docs. These shoes were truly a great experience going out. They made me feel taller than everyone else and if I needed to kick anyone, these shoes would do the trick! I would recommend these boots, they felt great, gave me great power and I know they will last forever!

Shiny New Docs - These are the first pair of new Docs i've worn (all the others were shared) and they didn't need any breaking in at all...so cute and a nice change of pace to go clubbing in these rather than the heels i'm used to... highly recomended...

Doc Martin boots for life - I have just become a teenager and have worn Doc Martin boots since I was 4 years old. I started with only 4 eyelet eye boots which my parents brought me. I suppose it's down to my parents I have worn not much other than Doc Martin boots as that is all they said I could have.I have always had weak ankles and the boots give me good support and my ankles don't turn over in the boots on uneven ground. I think it's because of my weak ankle condition my parents had me in boots as I wore ugly braces until the age of 4. I have a pair of Doc Martin shoes for school as wearing boots is not allowed, all other times I am in boots. I have never worn trainers or the like except gym shoes for PE and school sports. On my thirteenth birthday Dad took me for a pair of the 1942 series. They were a big shock as I was in 12 eyelet Docs now suddenly 20 eyelet nearly to my knees. Getting used to them took a while but now they are so comfortable. I have always laced my boots tight to the tops because this gives best support for my ankles. I am rather short for my age and only take a size 4. I wear them summer and winter even on holidays, I love them.

Brilliant! Lovely boot - recommended to all. Takes a while to lace up and needs to be broken in, but they rock.

I bought a pair of 20 eyelet docs 4 years ago and they fell apart after years of abuse. When I looked around town, it seemed they were gone. These boots rock! I'm glad I've found someplace that carries them again! Looks like I'll be placing many orders through this site!

KIDS LOVE EM - I have worn 1942 boots for many years with great comfort. I gradually introduced my boy at the age of 4 to Doc Martin boots starting with just about 4 eyelet high, at age 6 he was in 8 eylet docs, at age 9 he was in 10 eyelet docks, now aged 11 he has progressed to his first 1942 20 eyelet which he found a bit hard to get used to at first being laced to nearly his knees. Although it takes him quite a while to lace up he loves them. He always laces to the very tops and tight. He has worn very little other footwear during his life other than doc martin boots. Even holidays he goes in his docs and this year in his 20 eyelet. Highly recommended for robust boys in style and support. He has two pairs, one for best and the other for play.

Great boots - They are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned.

Awesome - These shoes are amazing. I haven't had boots in a long time and these have helped the Massachusettes winter a bit more bearable. They took a little bit of time to break in at first but now they are fine. They were half a size too big but Zappos sent new ones the next day at no extra charge. I'm very satisfied with the shoes.

comfort shoes - These are the best shoes that I have ever owned, they are so comfterble.

Amazing. These boots are awesome. Although I had to send them back because the size was rediculously larger than listed, I'm so happy with the boots. A bit of discomfort at breaking them in, but they are beautiful and absolutely necessary.

Awesome Boots!!! This boots are great! They're my second pair of Docs, and though I love my first pair, these are much better--they're really sturdy AND they just look cool. They have a rounder toe than a lot of the Docs I've seen.

First time Doc Owner - The 1942's are my first pair of docs and today was my first day wearing them. They look great for sure- that's why I bought them. But I'm in so much pain already trying to break them in! Though the size is a little large for me, and I bought them 1 1/2 size smaller than my usual, these boots seem so stiff like I'm wearing leg braces. It feels like the heels are too loose and like this effects my step. I'm hoping this will change when I break them in and the stiff parts soften. The other reviews on this web site are reassuring, thankfully, because I really want to be able to wear these boots comfortably.

Doc Martens' Boots - My family has been wearing this line of boot for over 10 years. They wear very well...actually extremely well. I have never been disappointed in this product. My daughters love them in all the stylish colors available. I was very pleased with my experience with Zappo's as well. Everyone went out of their way to help me and answer my questions. I did have a question about sizing and the person I had email correspondence with was very knowledgable and helped me decide what size to buy. My husband has never worn them but he will now!

Kthese shoes look awesome with everything and i always have people Staring at them. Took a painfully long time to break in. I suggest bending the toes and ankles a bunch before you actually take them for a walk or they'll eat holes in your feet. A bit wide for me because they're fit to guys feet instead of girls; but all in all they have become my babies and I wouldn't give 'em up. Definitely worth the money cuz they'll last forever.

I love these boots. Even though it takes me an extra 10 minutes to get my boots on in the morning before work, it is well worth the extra time. They are a very comfortable boot.

Gr8 boots that give U Attitude! I love my boots like these. The steel toe is very cool & still allows the boot to feel light. The only problem I had was the curve of your foot & leg (front ankle area) was cut into by the tongue of the boot. What I did was just skip those holes in lacing, and it never happened again!

I adore these boots - These boots are great. Yes, they do take a while to break in, but they look so good. One word of advice: don't wear them if you plan on flying anywhere, you have to take them off to go through the metal detectors and it take a while to put them back on.

Dr. Martens 1942 Series - These boots are great. They take a bit to break in, but they are really comfortable and fashionable at the same time.

Comfortable and practical - I am a hairdresser by trade and these boots are very supportive to my feet and back. I spend much of my workday standing and bending. When I wear my Dr. Martens, my feet never hurt at the end of my shift. This is the fifth pair of Dr. Martens that I have purchased. They are very durable and also fashion-forward. My order was received and shipped promptly. It was easier than going to the Mall.

The shoes are a perfect fit and look great!

I need a Doc - These boots are absolutly fabulous; I have always worn and trusted them since the 5th grade. I never leave the house without em.

Mudhole boots - These boots rock! I haven't worn any boots this high on the leg in a while, so it took some getting used to. I got them all broken in and they're comfy now. I love Docs.
