Burgundy Penny Loafers - I know I need an 11B, and it is especially important in a loafer. Sometimes I get talked into a 10 1/2, but persistence pays off. This shoe was as advertised, and a lot cheaper than the Allen Edmonds that I knew would fit. I tried another brand in the same size and they didn't work. I took the shoes right out of the box to the hilly streets of downtown Seattle and they felt just fine.

Purchase and One Year Review - I have owned my Sebago shoes for one year now, and they have held up pretty well. I do care for them, keep them shined, use trees, ect. I was very disappointed however to learn that Sebago has moved their production operations from the USA to China...

Good, basic loafer - Met expectations, although perhaps heavier than I was expecting.

Sebago loafers - These classic loafers fit true to size and are very comfortable. The quality is first-rate.

Great shoe but tight fit - I have purchased three pairs of Sebago loafers in the past and they have always fit perfectly. I have a narrow foot so I need a shoe that fits properly. I was disappointed to find out that Sebago has stopped making the Cayman model that I really wanted. I am trying to decide whether to return this shoe or to try and have it stretched.

Sebago Loafers - Shoes were at least as big as advertised. The leather has a strange feeling to it.Did I read somewhere that they are water repellent? Have not worn them out yet,but they seem to be comfortable. Not familiar with this brand, so time will tell!

Small feet - Sebago makes great shoes. However, it's hit and miss as to sizing. I normally wear 7B which was the one I previously ordered. But it was way too narrow. Now I ordered 7C, but it seems a bit wide. I don't want to send it back and forth, so I'm keeping this. I also wanted cordovan/burgundy but was not available and they did not know when they're coming in, so I had to settle for black ones.

Sebago Classic - I wear a 12.5 and that size is almost impossible to find and Sebago doesn't carry it either. I originally ordered this shoe in a 13 but it was too big. My refund was prompt and I reordered it in a 12. I had the shoe stretched and it seems to fit OK. Zappos handled my order very well. The shoe looks good and if it holds up, I will buy it again.

Way too narrow. I ordered three pairs of the same size and width; two (black and brown) are painful (almost impossible to walk in), and one was ok (cordo). Recommending ordering a size up in length and width.

Shoes are too tight. I ordered a pair of Cole Haan shoes, same size and style (9-1/2D penny loafers) in a different color and they fit fine. I have been a 9-1/2 D entire adult life, these shoes are too narrow. Should have ordered at least an E. Also, these have an odd dull finish on them. If they had been right size, I might have tried putting some polish on them. As it is, I will order the cordovan color from Cole Haan.

Shoe looks great. Called to check on widths before purchasing. I ordered the normal width, but shoe is too tight to wear. If you have an arch, these will be difficult to put on.

Nice looking shoe. Back a few years ago I was wearing this shoe and promised myself I would not get another pair when I learned they took their manufacturing off shore. I did give them another try last week, but the shoes were too narrow. Over many years of wearing this style shoe, I always wear the same size, but these just didn't fit. They were actually painful across the bridge of the foot. I had to return them and will go back to another maker. Zappos is always a pleasure to work with. I have not had to go to the mall for a pair of shoes in years.

Extra Narrow for Narrow Widths - I ordered a pair in 12A. I have feet that are 12A and 12AA with a 4.5 arch. My AA foot just fit in them, but was uncomfortably tight. My A foot would not hardly even go in at all, very painful. Also, the top of my foot hit the tongue in a painful location. I'm not sure if I'll try a B width or try a different brand. One thing for sure, Zappos shipping and return policies are outstanding!

Wrong color and incomplete stitching - I ordered antique brown classic loafer and was sent the cordovan color shoe. The stitching on the beef roll came loose on the first day of wear. I am taking it to the shoe repair shop today. I really wanted the antique brown, but decided to keep the other. I have worn both colors for over 25 years and prefer the antique brown. This is the first time ever that I have had trouble with a Sebago shoe. I think you should send me the brown shoe or at least take care of the cost of the repair bill. Also the quality of the leather used is inferior to what had been used previously. Bob C

Good shoe - looks good out of the box. After a few days of wear, the top of the toe area showing some "wrinkle" look.

Sizing runs a bit small in width - The shoe looked nice, but was smaller in width than expected. I've worn them several times hoping that they would stretch a bit, but they continue to be too snug.

Sebago Classic - It was a toss-up between Sebago and Allen Edmonds loafer. I should have opted for the more expensive shoe. With a size 16, the Sebago leather is not substantial enough and loses its shape. Turns into a very casual shoe and not dressy.

New Buyer - Quality around beef roll and flap appears poor. Had to send one pair back due to rip in leather around stitch hole.

Way too tight - There is very little "give" to the leather. I have a high instep and there is no stretch. I may have to return the shoes if they don't break in any better.

Not a true triple-E width... I bought a pair of these recently in my size, 12EEE, which has not caused a problem in any of my other shoes, but this time the width felt more like a single-E.

Good to be able to order a narrow width at a decent price - Good shoe but ran big.

Not as wide..A TIGHT SHOE - I am having a hard time breaking these shoes in. Not truley a 3E and low arch...NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!

Sebago makes an outstanding comfortable and affordable shoe. I have been a customer of them for over 10 years! I especially appreciate the broad selection of shoe widths that they offer. I usually get about 2-3 years out of their shoes through getting them resoled as needed.

sizes are tricky - TRhe shoe is beautiful, Zappo's selection & service are great. This was a gift for a hard to fit elder-ly man who loves the look of these shoes but says they're too tight. But that may because his feet have spread over time...

I agree with the review that said that Sebago's quality has suffered. I replaced a good pair with a new pair and the new shoes were always stiff with a slight squeak when I walked. Just as they were about broken in, the leather ripped where they are stitched near the toes. They were only worn for business. I never had seen leather rip there before. I doubt that I'll buy Sebago loafers again.
