Comfortable.. but gives a feeling of cheap shoe experience. Sole wears out in a very short period of time. May be made out of cheap material. Not buying this brand again!

The uppers on the shoe are comfortable and still in good shape, but the sole has split on both shoes with very little wear.

I want to purchase penny loafers but you no longer offer extra wide (5E). In your old product line 3E fit me fine but now are way too narrow.

I used to love these shoes for the style and comfort, but the last couple of pairs I bought make me believe that they've started cutting corners on the quality. Both most recent purchases squeak when I walk, and the soles just don't provide much cushioning any more. I went to a conference in Vegas last Fall with new shoes (and gel inserts!) and my feet still hurt with all of the walking. I've gotta find a new brand.

I purchased two pairs of the Riva's at the same time. When they arrived, one pair had the paper stuffed in the toe along with stick. The leather appearance all around was nice and smooth. The second pair had no paper or sticks and the leather was crinkly,as though they were run over with something. The box however was perfect, so it wasn't done in delivery. Does anyone there check what's being shipped? I didn't return them because I'm handicapped and doing so would further inconvenience my caregiver. For [$]one should receive new, not used. I've lost my respect for Florsheim.

I bought a shoe from India and have worn it hardly 20-25 times and the sole has worn out. Its deffective.
Am a regular user of florshiem, but this time its really bad.

Unfortunately the shoe is too tight for my dad who I purchased it for. He has always worn an 81/2 wide and this is what was ordered but still felt tight and looked narrow. Can we get the width measurements in cm/inches so I can exchange the shoe for a wider size

Only problem with this shoe (I have purchased in the past) is that it has a tendency to come apart at the toe area (front) between the sole and upper part of the shoe. Usually requires a trip to the repair store.

Goes on easy and feels soft right away. You can feel a grain of sand when you step on it. Not bad shoe, but not good enough for the money. Try the Propet Madison.

I had two problems with these shoes. They were not as wide as I expected and the soles are so thin that any irregularity or pebble is felt, sometimes with some discomfort, on the sole of the foot. Dr. School's insoles helped.

They are throw-aways. When the heels or soles are worn, you have to throw them away. Can't fix them. When I brought them to the shoemaker, he took one look at them, and said "GARBAGE". I guess that sums it up!

The shoe was marked as a size 11-5E…looking at the sole it was narrower than a 3 E.
I couldn’t slip my foot into the maw, it was so narrow.

I have been buying this model for years. I have a hard to fine size(6 1/2 3E) the right shoe is much tighter than the right. I presently have three pairs in my closet. I have my shoe trees in them opening to stretch them out.
