This shoe was as comfortable as advertised - generally. After a mile walk the shoe no longer provides the support found in other comfortable shoes. However, as long as most of the walking is done in the office, and never more than three or four blocks Riva will hold its own with any shoe designed for comfort.

Excellent Comfort But...
The shoes come in a soft leather already broken in and are very comfortable straight out of the box, but the sole cover in the shoe almost immediately peeled back some. This however did not detract from the comfort of the shoes. They are also a magnet when it comes to attracting dust, other than that these are very fine shoes.

Excellent quality and comfort; light but support is good. Jury still out regarding durability and ability to hold a lasting shine, but so far an excellent shoe--well woth the price.

I have worn this comfortech brand for many years and am very satisfied. They are perhaps a little narrow and therefore tend to pull out of shape after about one year. I rotate four pair of shoes all Florsheim.

Very nice shoe -
These shoes are extremely comfortable out of the box and have a nice, traditional look. I am very pleased with them so far, after a couple of weeks of use. They are my first pair, so I don't know how durable they will be. Bostonian sells the exact same shoe (the Prescott) for less. (I ordered two pairs -- one burgundy, one black -- oddly, the black pair felt smaller, at least on one foot. I don't know I just got one bad pair.)

I have been wearing these shoes for many years and my recent two purchases have resulted in the soles separating from the shoe near the toes. Florsheim was able to replace the current one I just purchased, but I was past the 30 days for me to get any resolution on the first bad pair. Still a decent shoe for the price, but hope this was a bad lot and not the new manufacturing method.

I have multiple Florsheim shoes that are Men's 8.5 and 5E width. These are substantially narrower, to the point where I feel I will damage them if I wear them regularly.

My husband had an old pair of this style that finally wore out--the soles came apart in pieces while he was wearing them. Not happy with that but he got his money's worth from them. So...I bought him a pair just like them--same size. Surprise when he could hardly get them on. They seem to be smaller than the old pair.

But I can never find them in my narrow size, 12, narrow so I wear a size 12 D until they wear out. I wish I were notified when a new batch is created to I can get the right size.

I bought these to replace a years-old pair whose sole finally disintegrated. Same size (9E) but this pair felt much wider than that, and the length felt like a 10-10.5. The leather felt much less soft and flexible than the first pair did when new. Had to return these, prompt credit received from Zappos.

Love this shoe but I had to buy a b width which hurts my feet. The d width slips off my heel. I have tried stretching the shoe which is helping. My size is a c width. Can't you make this she available on a c width?

The shoes were good (as always) but they were delivered to the wrong address even though the correct address was on the label and these were my forth pair. So all in all you're still doing good but might want to speak to your delivery services.

I ordered this pair of shoes for my husband. He has worn this model for years but never ordered online. This pair is not as comfortable as ones he's had before. They are the same size as he's always worn but fit much snugger.

The stitching on the inside is all loose.
I need to cut them and see if the are going to cause a major problem.
The sizing is correct, they are comfortable not sure about craftsmanship.

Thies shoes should come in more colors dress pants come in different colors why not your shoes to match black and brown for men florsheim should step up there game with this shoes style they dropped white color I bought them the only problem I had is there sole fell apart which for a shoe that should not happen at all the product is stylish you should have more colorful shoes
