I have been wearing Florsheim shoes since my father took me to the store when I turned 16 (67 years ago) because he said I was now grown up and needed a good shoe. He was right and I have never gotten a different shoe. They are beautiful, easy to maintain, and sturdy even when abused in the yard or in the woods. I would not want any other shoe.

This is probably the 12th pair of Riva's I have purchased since the mid 1980's (I always have two pairs - one black and one brown). They have a great classic look that is suitable for just about any occasion thus I wear them very frequently - to work, church, semi-formal and even some formal events. The construction quality is so high that they always look sharp and their durability is further proof of how well put together this shoe is. And they are so very comfortable - maybe the most comfortable shoe I have ever bought which is another reason why I keep coming back to the Florsheim Riva.
