I have owned at least 5 pairs over the past 10 years. In my opinion, it is the most comfortable shoe available anywhere. They do tend to wear out quickley. Usually the leather starts to separate from the sole along the outside edge. Despite that, they are as comfortable as bedroom slippers.

Most Comfortable Ever! I've owned more than 10 pairs, both black and brown. These are absolutely the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. One major problem I've had on every single pair is that after several months of wear (6 mos or more) the leather splits along the edge of the upper sole because of poor design. I'll still buy these shoes for the sheer comfort of them and their look.

Comfort. These are the greatest shoes because you feel like you're walking on clouds.

This shoe has been my work shoe for longer than I care to admit. As an airline pilot I need a shoe that is comfortable and has no metal to set off the metal detectors at airports. This shoe does the job admirably.

My Third Pair. Comfotable,,use for dress as weell

ordered F Riva 7EEE, but exchnged to 7EEEEE. 7EEE was too narrow. Good and comfortable shoes for the price. Usually buy cole Hann 7EEE.

Excellent fit - Got shoes for my husband who is a diabetic and could not find a comfortable shoe. Look on line for a stylish but comfortable shoe, since he has to dress for work. Ordered a wide shoe in his size. When he got the shoes, he was not sure of the idea ordering on line...he wore the shoes and they were so comfortable, he ask me to order another pair in a different color. Says they feel like slippers. thanks for making it so easy.

Good, but... The shoe is very comfortable but seems almost a half size too long.

Riva Slip Ons - Have had several pairs. They are extremely comfortable and versatile. However, I've noticed that the leather has a tendency to pull away from the sole in the front after a while.

Great Comfort, Good Value - Like other reviewers, I have owned several pairs of these shoes in both Black and Brown, and will continue to buy them. You get that slipper-like comfort because they are unbelievably lightweight. Also as others have said, they are not especially durable, you'll want to be careful not to let them get wet.

A minor problem I'm on my second pair. Overall, the comfort is great. I've worn them to conventions and even a couple times to Disney World with lots of walking. I do note, however, a problem with a couple wear spots. This has happened at the same place on both pairs. After a considerable time (1 - 2 years), I am experiencing a pull out of the leather on the front inside area, approx. near the big toe. I'm not sure, but this could be caused by the stitching wearing through from wear on the sole. Also, looking for a way to prevent wearing out of a spot on right shoe (back of shoe, just above heel from driving). But, enough of the problems. These are just about the only shoes I can comfortably wear a full day. Glad to see other colors (like brown).

My husband measures an 11.5 EEEE. With that size no available, I went with the 5E instead ("There's no such thing as TOO wide," he says). He could barely get his feet into these. At best, these are an EE. 5E? No way.

I've always liked Florsheim and needed to replace some leather-soled Florsheim loafers. These have a molded sole which I think qualifies them as even more "casual" than leather-soled loafers. Very comfortable, no break-in at all. They do have a telltale "squeak" when walking on some hard flooring surfaces (tile, some concrete, etc.). Of course, heels or half soles to extend the usability are out of the question - these are basically disposable shoes once the soles give out.

My husband would have kept this shoe, but its "wide" isn't really wide, so he's returning it back. It looks good and durable though.
