These shoes are awesome. I bought them in black as a gift, and he loved them so much that he ordered another pair in brown. They are very soft and look professional. Worth the money!

I am very pleased to say the product was exactly what I hoped for. I received them two days after ordering them. Wow! My new ones are in black and the fit, finish and the sizing are on the money. The leather was so supple that I had the feeling that they had already been broken in. To reiterate, the service from Zappos was outstanding. I'm going out of town next week, timely delivery is obviously important to me. I really wanted to take them and had even considered a local store instead of Zappos. Glad I didn't. Zappos, with their verified delivery and great return policy, has earned themselves a customer for years to come. Keep up the good work Zappos.

Very lightweight shoe. The soles are not leather, but made of plastic, which may contribute to its light weight. Very comfortable extra wide shoe. True to size.

My husband has worn this same style and brand of shoe for years. He loves the comfort and slip on ease. The fit is also a big factor since he wears size 6 EEE and has a very high in-step. They are of good quality and he gets many years of wear out of them.

Florsheim Riva --I have been a group tour escort/travel agent for 22 years. I am on my feet 6 to 12 hours a day. I have back pain, and mild sciatica on my longest days. These shoes keep me going virtually pain free on my feet. They support my feet very well, and do feel comfortable to me like tennis shoes/slippers. My only gripe is that they come in only the "three Bs" = black, brown, and burgandy. I wish they had a lighter color for recreation time like light grey or tan. I wear a narrow B or C (a D is too wide) so sometime getting a good fit is tough. At age 62 they keep me on my feet and happy.

My husband has loved these shoes and says they are very comfortable even after being on his feet for 12 hour days on hard floors! Zappos get them into the mail and on our doorstep in under 30 hours!!! amazing!

Have been using this shoe for about three decades. Was introduced to it by the owner of a owner\/operator shoe store in North Hollywood. Has been in my closet on a continuous basis since that time. Seldom see it in the usual brick & mortar stores in the recent decade. This purchase was to replace a pair ruined in an accident. Zappos service was exemplary.

I've worn Florsheim and Riva for many years and in different colors. Recently, the brown color was impossible to find. I was told they didn't make it anymore but I found it online at Zappos and Florsheim. Being that I was visiting family in California, I needed it shipped to me pronto. Florsheim said it would take a few days. Zappos delivered it the next day. What can I say. 10 stars, 2 thumbs up. I am a very happy customer.

My husband has an extremely small foot so shoe buying has always been a challenge for us. Some years ago he "lucked" upon the Florsheim Riva. Although he has a closet full of shoes which never quite fit, he always wore the Riva. Now these favorite shoes were getting quite worn. We were delighted to order the Riva in his size -- they came the next day to our great surprise. I don't think we will go shoe shopping again. We'll just order from Zappos!!

Great Shoes - This is a replacement for a pair I literally wore ‘til they fell apart. Extremely comfortable, soft leather right out of the box with 0… I repeat 0 break in time.

My husband is very hard to find shoes for as he has a very wide foot. The ones I ordered were just right and he was really happy with them as a Christmas gift. I will order again as they are true to size.

My husband has a difficult time finding shoes that fit comfortably. His size is 9A. Not all shoes that say they are 9A fit correctly, but these shoes are fabulous. He wears them every day; he is so delighted with them.

This is the second time I have purchased this same shoe, and in fact this time I purchased 2 pair, one in black and the other cordovan. It is a very comfortable shoe true to size and width. I am not able to tie shoes because of arthritis, so this shoe works great for me.

Outstanding Dress Shoe - I'm 41 Years Old... I note that I'm 41 as I take pride in buying quality shoes and have been wearing the Florsheim Riva shoe with a suit & tie for 10 years. I had worried it was an "Old Mans" shoe but nothing can be further from the truth. I can tell you, it's the ONLY dress shoe I'll ever wear. Quality holds a nice shine and THE most comfortable dress shoe ever made bar NONE! Forget dress, the most comfortable shoe period. Light as a feather, NO break in needed, feel like a pair of broken in slippers, not kidding at all. Accommodates orthotics just fine. Look great with a suit and honestly for both young & old. ***Zappos - tell Florsheim never to change or discontinue this shoe and why don’t they make far more with this same comfort & leather? Zappos, as always, had the shoe at my door in 20 hours. Awesome.

Style & comfort - I recently purchased the Florsheim Riva because I have always been very pleased with the quallity and performance of Florsheim products. I was not disappointed. When the shoe arrive I was able to wear the shoes the same day and be comfortable with no wear in period. The soft sole has helped reduce impact on my knees. I walked all over the Las Vegas strip the first weekend and I was very comfortable. I would highly recommend this product.

Dad shoes - These are very comfortable and you don't even think you are wearing shoes.

Left shoe seems larger than right and not withstanding that our feet are generally different.

After about 9 months of 5 day/week wear tear on one side and buckle came loose from shoe. Not as supportive as most shoes.

I bought these shoes for airline travel. I wanted something for slipping on and off while passing through security that would be stylish enough for business meetings on either end of the trip. They'll meet that purpose, but I probably won't wear them for much else. I find that after a day of walking around the city in these shoes, my feet are more tired than usual with a few aches and pains. They're okay, but not spectacular.

Comfortable and stylish; however, I am disappointed in Florsheim's quality. The left insole is loose and has a fold in it.

The Riva is very comfortable and a good looking shoe. I wear it for work every day.
