I love these shoes. I have been wearing them for thirty years. I have a couple of pairs (different colors) that I have had for a couple of decades, they are probably on their tenth sole. They last, look great, and fit me perfectly.

Great pair of shoes for work, or a night out. They fit perfectly and go well with either a suit for work, or a nice pair of slacks and a sport coat for an evening out. Nothing bad to say.

I wear my Lexington's most everyday, for work, casual events and just relaxing. What I like most about the Florsheim Shoe is that it is durable and wears well over an extended period of time. I was replacing my old Florsheim shoes with another pair just like them in a different color. Those shoes lasted me several years with an upper that stayed true for a long time. I had the sole and heels replaced on my last pair once and only replaced them after the uppers started showing their age. I wore the last pair daily for almost 10 years, for the money spent I got a deal. Florsheim is my only shoe and plan to get another pair in a lighter brown color to replace my other pair as I own a pair burgundy and brown. The burgundy goes with all my brown and black clothing and the brown went with my lighter brown and casual wear. Love Florsheim shoes and will not buy any other brands.

I have worn Florsheim shoes for over forty years. Working in the funeral business, they make you look sharp and they wear good for long periods of time.

Looks great with a blue navy suit

The first set of Lexingtons I bought years ago had pure leather soles that wore out rapidly. The Lexingon is made the 'traditional' way where the soles are stitched to the uppers, so the soles can be replaced, unlike every other shoe nowadays that has glued soles. A few years ago, a rubber patch was added to the sole, but it delaminated from the leather. This was improved on this model to extend the rubber sole to the stitching to the upper, and the heels wore out before the rubber sole did. The rubber also improved traction on wet surfaces. Before I'd have to re-sole the shoes with rubber before the uppers wore out, now I don't have to do that any more.
