These are a true classic from concept through the last stitch. Beautifully detailed and solidly built. I've owned these shoes for so many years that I can't say for sure how many it's been, but my best educated estimate is about 14 years. They always feel just right, they always shine up beautifully, and they've never given me a minute's trouble. Oh, I have put new laces in them a few times, but that's it. I strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a timeless, distinguished style.

These are just what I wanted. They look extra good, feel fabulous, and my feet are not tired after a days work. I wear them conducting funerals. I've been wearing florsheim for years.

A classic shoe that my dad introduced me too. I miss going into a shoe store and trying them on; however, things change. I ordered these shoes from the web. The pair that I got seemed scuffed. I called Florsheim the next day and bam - new pair of shoes FedExed next day and arrived in less than 48 hours. The return process was easy too for the scuffed pair - print label and prepaid shipping back. No questions asked. No run around. Just great customer service. Made me feel good. In fact, I am thinking of ordering some more of the same soon.

This is the third pair of Floorsheim, Lexingtons that I have purchased. They're good shoes. I'll continue buying them as long as Floorsheim makes them. They have the style of wing tip shoes without being quite as flashy as the actual white and black wing tip shoes. They have just enough class without being overly flashy.

Daily business attire

Our friend who is a pro at internet shopping suggested we try finding this shoe on line after trying several other stores. We must have been to at least 5 different malls in our area. (All good excuses for lunching out, but not for finding this style of shoe.).

These shoes are excellent. My first pair of florsheims lasted me 15 years. I love this shoe. I have flat and wide feet so these triple E's are perfect for my feet and the help my back, I do a lot of standing. Every business man, every man that wears a suit needs to have a good pair of florsheims.

Beautiful shoes classic design

Without too much thought other than I liked the design, I bought a pair of these in the 90's. Back then I didn't dress up much but I wanted a pair of shoes to go with sport coats and slacks and I like the burgundy/cordovan clolor. I remember thinking they were expensive, but they were so comfortable I figured I got what I paid for and I really liked the wingtip design. I would wear these occasionally for several years, but then quite frequently over the last 10. This is a true oxford with closed lacing and a distinctive wingtip and brogue design. So much so that a shoe salesman in Manhattan commented "Nice Florsheims, good choice" when I went into a store to get new laces. They really are sharp looking and I haven't found a suitable alternative design or construction. These are also one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn. I walked from 42nd to ground zero and back and spent the day walking around the Washington D.C. Mall many times in these in summer and winter and my feet felt great at the end of the day. These are well made and can support you through a day of work. These are not sneakers, but their sturdy construction is the key to their value and long term comfort. I recently had them re-healed and re-soled and they feel like new, possibly better with the full leather sole. Although they suffered some unfortunate damage in 2012 on a rainy street in Seattle, a shoe repair man fixed them up and now they have a bit of character and I use them mostly for casual use. That's the beauty of Brogues, they hide the wear well. I have purchased other comparably or higher-priced name brand dress shoes but always come back to these because of their quality construction and comfort. I recently bought a different Florsheim and the quality was evident and they are also very comfortable. I think I am a Florsheim man from now on.

I purchased this product for my brother. He has worn this shoe for years and has loved it. He is not a person to want to look as he is above his position, to which I feel this beautiful shoe makes me think of; someone who has quite a financial independence, yet he can wear it confidently with most clothing and outings and makes for a strikingly handsome look.
