Lexington Review - Nice shoe for the money. Would have prefered an all leather sole rather than the partial rubber insert. I take a narrow size and the shoe was true to size except for the heel, which was a little too wide for me.

Excellent Shoe - Looks and Comfort Love the looks and the comfort is a real bonus. The only bad thing is the rubber insert in the sole seems to be wearing faster than any other part. I've had the shoes for some time now(6 months) and the shine is there and I haven't polished them once.

Glad someone is thinking about us non hip-hoppers With so many faddish shoes on the market, I am glad that Florsheim has kept with the traditional sense of what a shoe should look like and feel. The perfed cap toe shoe is an excellent looking shoe that has the styling I always look for. I have bought shoes in the past that fit (due to my 12 EEE size that is sometimes hard to fit) but not necessarily had great styling - just a shoe that says nothing. If you are looking for a shoe that looks good with anything dressy or dressy casual, I would suggest this. Suffice it to say, I am very satisfied.

Shoe seemed cheaply made. Didn't realize the toe cap was leather but the rest of the upper was synthetic "man-made". Also, the sole is all synthetic. For a classic oxford, there's nothing like all leather.

These shoes truly look beautiful, but beware, they run quite large in their size. I would order a half size smaller if you are ordering these. I did find also that the heel was wearing after only having worn it once (this may have happened also because it didn't fit correctly). Unfortunately, I am probably going to have to sell or donate this pair of shoes because I wore them twice and they still look new, but they have a little bit of wear and are beyond the condition of Zappos return policy. Try your shoes on before you ever wear them outside!

I liked the fit of these shoes, and they were very comfortable and stylish. However after wearing them for a few months, an internal component of the shoe (the shank) has broken, and produces an audible and perceptible 'click' feeling when moving my foot. I read about this issue with other pairs of Florsheim shoes, and it is apparently somewhat common. This has effectively rendered them unwearable, as it is highly annoying. I have no idea whether they are able to be repaired or not. I would guess that if they were, it would be close to the price of a new pair. I don't think I would purchase another pair of these as I believe I was reasonably careful with them, and they were not very durable.

Zappos was excellent to deal with, but I've only had these shoes for a couple of weeks and the heal of the shoe is already separating in the front. Apparently Fluorsheim has gone down hill :(
