Not as narrow as I'd like - The heel on this brand of shoes is not as narrow as my foot. I am now looking for pads to try and make it work.

Nice looking, but uncomfortable for walking and standing - I don't know how people can say these shoes are comfortable and have good arch support. While they are indeed comfortable while sitting down, the half-length insert offers virtually no cushioning and even less arch support. And because there's no insert in the forefoot, no amount of breaking in makes these shoes more comfortable (I've had mine for two years, so I know). It's hard to find a 9.5E dress shoe. I was happy to have found this pair. Although it fits well, my husband refused to wear them because the brand-tag was stitched on the inside of the shoe where it will rub your heels when you walk. It would nice if they could make it tagless like some other manufacturers do.

Not the shoe I wanted - Bought the shoe for my husband and brought it back to the UK where we live. Shoe was too long and kept slipping in the heel. Have added a leather piece to try and tighten the heel. Still not good. If I had known prior to traveling, I would have returned them. Wanted the Florsheim Imperial Leather Penny Loafer which is what I thought I was buying.

Shoe purchase - I needed an 11-1/2 wide - for some reason is not available - so had to order a 12 wide, which is now a tad to big.

I have worn these shoes for about a year and they're still as stiff and uncomfortable as they were on day one. I'm really sorry I didn't trust my instincts and returned them, but I hoped it would just be a matter of breaking them in. It wasn't. The good news is they have held up well and look beautiful, but they'll be looking good on the floor of my closet from now on.

I am disappointed in the shoe, I had previously purchased Florsheim in a little more of a dress type and found it quite comfortable. I need a narrow width 11 1/2. This shoe is heavier, stiffer, and definitely wider.

First time - This is the first pair of shoes I've purchased through Zappos. Any problems I've had are really my own. The shoe didn't look exactly like I thought it would, but I should have known better what a moccasin looked like. One shoe (the left) also seems to fit a bit looser the other--kind of like it's going to come off. Just don't feel like these warrant sending them back, so I've already started wearing them outside, hoping my feet adjust to this style.

I ordered a pair of 9.5 Wide - the same size as I have always ordered (and NEVER had a problem with) in Bostonian shoes- and I couldn't even get the instep of my left foot past the tongue of the shoe, let alone get the shoe all the way on. The shoes were marked 9.5 E, but the felt like 8.5 D. SO much for Florsheim... I'm sticking with Bostonian.

Hard Soles - Good looking shoe. Breaks-in easily and looks sharp. BUT, no padding in the bottom therefore if you are walking on a concrete floor, it feels like it. If you are walking on a carpet, it feels like "soft" concrete floor. I probably will not get these resoled when worn but invest in the next level of Florsheim's hoping to get a softer walk.

Look great. Too big. They look good. But they seem a full size bigger and wider than listed. Returned them for a smaller size.

A little tight - Generally tight across the top of the foot. Looks good but may need an extended break-in period.

Too narrow - I really like the look of the shoe. I was very disappointed in the fit. I got the widest size available and I still have to use a shoe stretching device to make the shoe wearable.

Very Large - This shoe felt at least 2 sizes too long and very narrow.

Florsheim has always been my go to brand but these feel like they're made of plastic. Very uncomfortable.

Kind of a floppy mess to be honest, like bedroom slippers in a bad way. They are comfortable, I will say that. The stitching came undone in several places long before it should have.
