Generous fit- Fit seems almost too generous, but until the shoe is worn, I'm sure it will be fine. Can't be Zappos terms. Free shipping both ways; who ever heard of free shipping on returns?

Great Classic Shoe - If you are a fan of the classic penny loafer, this is the shoe for you. Classic style and good looks makes this quality shoe just right. Fit and finish are what you would expect from Florsheim. Top notch. I can recommend this shoe to anyone who likes the look and comfort of this classic shoe.

Very Stylish - A classic never goes out of Style!

Look Good, Feels Good, Wears Good - I have been buying the G.H.Bass Leavitt Penny for so many years I cannot remember. Bass recently made the decision to stop making my size B. I have a narrow foot and heel. I decided to buy the Florsheim Berkley as a replacement as they carry my size. They were feeling comfortable on my feet in less than a week. I am wondering if they will last as long as the Bass shoes. Only time will tell.

Florsheim Berkley-A stiff ride - This model reflects a conservative image with traditional flair. The size is appropriate to listing. The major problem is the leather upper is extremely stiff. When you combine the stiffnes with the slippery sole it is a dangerous combination. Takes quite a while to break in. You have to intentionally rough up the soles to prevent falling. When I compare this with the equivalent Rockinport model it pales in comparison. The rockinport is a softer upper with a gentle rubber/foam sole that is clearly superior. Poor choice on my part in selecting the Berkley.

Pleased! I am very pleased with the Florsheim Berkley loafers I recently purchased at Zappos.com. I returned them to get a wider width. The free shipping was a great bonus for me. From the day I took them to a local UPS store to send them back until I received another pair was seven (7) days!! That's amazing service!! Makes going through airport security easier - As a pilot, I have to go through security quite often and it's nice to have a pair of shoes that I don't have to take off. They are a little tight right now, but they are gradually loosening up. The one odd thing I noticed is that they pull my socks down when I walk. I'm not sure why that is, but I hope it stops once they loosen up.

On my second pair. First pair was very comfortable and durable. It lasted twice as long as a pair of Bass loafers. Had to order 1/2 size smaller than usual.

Same shoe after all these years - My husband has a narrow foot (unusual for a man, but his mom is an AAAA). It is wonderful to know that he can find this shoe in his size and it is the same quality as those he has bought in the past.

Leather is quite stiff initialy

I like the shoes - I ordered the shoes and the wide size was not wide enough. I called and asked to get a wider size and they said OK we will ship them. I didn't receive them in 3 days and called back. Well get a conformation number when you have to do this. I spoke to a different lady and my shoes arrived in two day, they fit great and it was easy to return the other pair. I will do business with Zappos again. It is hard to get the right size shoe even in stores, and I live in Houston,Tx. Thanks

Florsheim Berkely Loafer - Thankyou for having my husband's size available, 14B and for a reasonable price! I know what alot of these shoes are wholesale priced growing up as a granddaugther of a Wolverine/Hush Puppie plant manager and was thankful that he helped make shoes for my husband when they were unavailable or at a high dollar cost. Zappos shows me what I want and for a reasonable amount rather than driving from store to store, not finding it or having to pay top dollar for it. This particular shoe referenced is as comfortable as the last pair of Hush Puppies my grandfather ever made for my husband and after a few days wear, he finally said goodbye to a pair of well loved old friends.

Berkley penny loafer - I was surprised at how quickly the shoe felt comfortable. I have a very wide foot and have difficulty finding shoes that fit well. I like this shoe a lot.

fit nice - wore Dexter shoe for years, couldn't get on Zappos any more tried Florsheim, fit nice and very comfortable... ordered Bass Wejuns but could not get them to fit right. EEE is hard to find, but the florsheim did a nice job.

Good fit - Shoe looks good. I was battling undersized Bass loafers (another brand) and ordered this one slightly larger, I think if you order to your true size, they will be perfect.

Just Right - When I slipped into this Florsheim, I knew it was the one. I compared 3 identical styles, even another Florsheim, and found this one was right for me. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to compare. I could not do this at any normal outlet and you made it so easy and customer friendly.
