The Berkley Penny Loafer is a classic old reliable shoe. I love them! I can't tell you how many pairs I've own and worn since I was a kid, and now I'm 65. Whether I'm in a suit or slacks, you'll always see me in one of the Berkley's as my shoe of choice. For style and durability, it's the best!

When I ordered the shoes I misjudged the size needed; Florsheim exchanged them within a few days, and the current pair are a perfect fit.

I have a big preference for leather-soled shoes and these shows fit this perfectly. The are comfortable and well made. I am sure they will last for many years. I had this same shoe before (when they were Nunn Bush) which lasted more 15 comfortable years with occasional heels and resoles.

I recently purchased these shoes and mistakenly ordered the wrong size. It was my fault. They made it incredibly easy to return the shoes and they responded by immediately shipping the proper size. I require a large shoe width and cannot get these in any local outlets. This is my solution and I am very happy with being able to order them on-line. Great customer service and very prompt delivery.

Perfect all around classic

This pair of BERKLEY Loafers are the 4th or 5th pair I've bought in the last eight or so years. The product speaks for it self. Somewhere, buried in a closet or storage room, are three new pairs of Florsheim loafers I bought a number of years ago on sale. I don't own stock in Florsheim and I don't have a wealthy uncle who owns a chain of shoe stores. My Father worked for Florsheim sometime in the 1920s. The factory was west of the "Loop" in Chicago. More times than I can remember he told me "Florsheim shoes were the best made shoes in the world." My Dad NEVER made gratuitous statements about very many products (Buick was another). I guess the name stuck in my head. But I've got to say that The Old Gent was right about Florsheim back then and he is still right.
