Very comfortable and stylin' too!

I've always been a fan of this classic design and this shoe meets all the criteria. Quality, comfort and price. Works well with suits, biz casuals, and jeans. The only issue I've faced is that while width D is tight, W comes a little lose. Wish D was a little more open at the top fo let the foot in easy. But great overall!

This pair of Berkleys replaces a pair several years old. I noticed the leather was much higher quality than the previous pairs I owned. The proof is in the wearing. One noticeable difference from my previous pairs: these shoes did not need to be broken in. They were very comfortable from day one. This difference was very noticeable to me because I have been wearing Berkleys for decades.

Sole is not flexible however very comfortable, not for long walks but one of my nicest ones.

I have to buy 3e's for all the width I can get...and I still have to wear them in. However, after the breaking in process...these are great, great shoes that are suitable anywhere...this is probably, over the years, my 10th pair...(I got plenty of money, but this is still my go to shoe of choice).

It was hard to find the OLD STANDARD loafer shoe... Outstanding product. I have been a Florsheim customer since the 1980s. While I am disappointed that they no longer have retail stores as they did back in those days, the shoes have the same super quality and superior finish/look. Except when my wife buys some other shoes for me, I always gravitate towards Florsheim's quality product and superior service.
