Past experience with the Ecco brand has been positive. First time experience with Zappos and could not have been more pleased. Probably helped that I was familiar with the Ecco style and fit.

I\'m not certain it\'s worth recommending this product as it has been discontinued much to my chagrin as they are the best shoes Ecco makes. I have an older pair that I have had for more than five years and have worn them more that any other shoes I own. I truly loved them.

I ordered my third pair of Ecco Cross shoes from Zappos today. These are the greatest fitting, most comfortable shoes I\'ve ever owned. I can wear them 16 hours a day and my feet feel great. With any other men\'s shoe I\'ve owned in 70+ years I couldn\'t go more than 8-10 hours without needing to get them off. They are almost indestructible and the only reason I\'m buying another pair is to give them a rest. The original pair are still as good as new after several years of daily use!

I like these shoes - I had a pair of these over 10 years ago. I have bought a dozen other Eccos since. Now I have gone back because I don't care for the looks of the new Ecco styles. I am glad I did, so I have bought a second pair in black. The arch is a bit high, but once I get used to them these are great shoes. They are what made the brand successful.

Great Shoe! I own five pairs of Ecco shoes. Why? They fit perfectly. They are comfortable, look great, have good arch support and I get a lot of compliments from my friends. Yes, they cost a little more than other brands, but they are worth it. I am a very satisfied customer.

The best. It's the only shoe my son has worn in years, of course it takes years to wear them out. Good stuff ECCO.

Ecco Cross Shoes - Excellent for traveling and very comfortable. My second pair and this time bought them from Zappos. Great service!

Ecco Cross - great shoe!! I had a pair that I bought in 2000. They got lost in my closet for a while, and when I started wearing them, the soles started to disintegrate. The new version has a dark sole and appears to be able to last longer. I need arch support, and these are the best shoes I've ever worn!

Awesome shoes - I bought Ecco Cross 5 years ago. I was impressed by how comfortable, durable and nice-looking they are. They have not even changed much and are good for almost any occasions. So I just bought another pair of Ecco Cross to alternate with the older pair. When I received my new Ecco Cross, I noticed the texture of leather is not symmetrical – one shoe is coarser than the other. Called Zappos for exchange, and I received the other pair next day even before I returned the previous pair. I also bought a pair of Ecco Austin cap toe; they are as comfortable as the Ecco Cross.

I discovered this shoe many years ago, and 6 or 7 pairs later it remains the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I wear it to work every day (I am a teacher), to formal occasions, and even when hiking through the woods. After about 8 months of constant wear, the upper seams near the big toe invariably ripped, but my shoe repairman can always sew them back up for about 4 more months at a time before they rip again. I've tried other Cross shoes in search of more durability, but none can match the Cross for comfort.

Satisfied with Cross - Really comfortable if a bit geeky.

Comfortable and good looking - Typical Ecco: expensive, well-made, good-looking, and comfortable. More of a boat-shoe/moccasin, in terms of being very soft all-around. More of a leisure shoe than walking shoe.

Ecco Cross shoe soles - update - Reading the reviews regarding the Ecco Cross, I too had problems with my first pair. The logo imprinted on the sole did deteriorate and I had improvised with silicone gel to get by. However, the last two pair I've purchased it appears the soles have been redesigned and I'm completely satisfied with these shoes and am in the process of ordering another pair.

Bravo! Eccos are the Best! I needed to replace my work shoes which were the Ecco Neoflex. I wore those out after wearing them almost everyday for 3 years. Tried looking at other shoes (the Earth shoe Ash model, but it made my feet look too big and the arch support was too high for my low foot). After a speedy return/exchange. I ultimately settled on the Cross. Worth the extra money. I was not disappointed. Neither will you. You can wear these straight out of the box with no break in time. Very stylish, comfortable and along with Zappos superior customer service makes for a very positive buying experience. Thank you Zappos!

ECCO's Cross Shoe - I have owned four pairs of these shoes. (I keep extras on hand in case ECCO stops making them.) They are comfortable from the moment you put them on. No break in needed. They provide great support for your feet while standing or walking and provide almost as much stability and traction as a good pair of running shoes. They are the best shoe I have found for someone, like me, with balance problems. They can take lots of abuse (getting wet, etc.) and will last for several years even with daily wear. The only caveat: They look good for casual shoes, but are not appropriate for wearing with a suit.

Arch support best I’ve ever tried without orthotics! I bought these shoes originally for their good looks, and expected legendary ECCO comfort. But I've never had a pair of shoes EVER which had this kid of arch support. I immediately ordered another pair in black, and wear both more than any other shoe I own. I travel a lot, and walk a lot, esp. in NYC, and these ECCOS beat even top-flight sneakers for comfort after a long day of chasing subways. At 62, I appreciate good walkers for Europe or home, and let me tell you, these guys beat out even the famous devil brand!
