Ecco Cross - Excellent shoe. Very good arch support. Comfortable and a good walking shoe. No breaking in required. I would buy another. I am female and I find this shoe looks like a unisex shoe. I like this shoe because of the excellent toe box. Good for women who don't want those elf-type walking shoes.

These shoes are great! Before a trip last year to Dublin, IR, I was afraid of all the walking I would do on asphalt. I have a bad back, bad rt knee, and I can normally only stand for 30 minutes or less. These shoes DID have a higher arch than I was used to, but I walked around Dublin all day in complete bliss! I would buy them again, I'm not crazy about the price, but the comfort is more than worth it.

My favorite shoe - I actually bought this shoe for the look. The dressy casual look is perfect for work and the pebbled texture hides a lot of sins. I was worried the arch support was too extreme; it was higher than anything else I'd worn. However, it is the most comfortable shoe I've ever had. The sole of the first pair disintegrated within a year (ball area/Ecco mark). I wrote to Ecco and they replaced them! Second pair lasted for years, and then disintegrated in the same place. I guess Ecco has discontinued these now. I'll try the Sea Walker next.

Great shoe! - Have worn them for more than a decade - I seem to buy a pair of these every year and wear them almost exclusively. I have long feet that seem to have spread out as I've gotten older - started with 48's then 49's now 50's. Ecco's 50 they call a size 16 but to me it's the same as a 15. I've read other's who say that the soles wear out - I've always found that the stitching starts to look bad first - then they become my garden shoes anyway and who cares if the soles wear out. They don't last forever. The inserts that come with the shoes are okay - but I always put other inserts in for comfort.

Ultimate comfort - My husband has worn nothing but Ecco Cross for work for more than six years. He is a physician and on his feet all day. Before we found these shoes he suffered from foot and leg fatigue and pain. No more. Also, I can't say enough about the service at Zappos...Fast, fast, fast and no questions asked. I may never enter another shoe STORE again!

Worth the Search - The leather on these shoes is soft and comfortable. The inner sole conforms to my feet and has relieved the heel pain that I have had for the past month. I had these shoes once before; they lasted forever, rain does not affect them. I'm happy that I found them again.

Favorite shoes - Best pair of shoes I’ve ever worn. Hard to wear anything else - nothing compares. They look a bit old-mannish, but they're comfortable, good for all-weather, last forever. My wife surprised me with this pair since I refused to throw away my old ones - they do eventually get holes in the bottoms. Love these things.

Not the best looking, but can't live w/o them - Have had many pairs of these - can wear all day without any problems - these are my 12th pair I have owned - these are not dress shoes however - only with jeans and casual -

Ecco echos - This is the third pair of these shoes that my husband has worn. They are lightweight and comfortable walking shoes. Although casual they are suitable for his university teaching and meetings. When he first put them on he was impressed with the difference from other walking shoes.

Great shoes - Perfect fit. Very comfortable. Good looking casual shoes.

My comments exactly but after four pairs of shoes I found this exact problem, and after a years use it was like they dry rotted on the soles across the ECCO name. Just today bought two new pairs despite problem, I still love them.

What’s not to like about the Cross - A very comfortable, well made shoe that can be worn all day long and used to walk all day long.

Ecco quality - This is the second pair of Ecco's I have owned in this style. The first pair lasted so long that it was a no brainer to replace it with the same style. This is a nice shoe with jeans or khakis.

Ecco Cross - Best walking shoe with style I have found and a much better value than Mephisto. Quality is second to none and comfort is outstanding. I intend to buy a second pair in the other color.

Christmas Present - I received a pair of these shoes for Christmas. I found them to be extremely comfortable right out of the box. There is an inner arch that provides good support.

Excellent fit - The Ecco Cross is undoubtedly the best shoe I have ever purchased. The style is timeless. I hope they never change or discontinue this shoe. I have only one disappointment and that is that the sole of the shoe cracks across the ECCO emblem located on the bottom of the shoe after a year or so. This happens long before the uppers or even the rest of the sole shows wear. Has anybody experienced this? This has happened on two shoes so far. Despite this little flaw I love these shoes.

Great shoe - This is my 5th or 6th Ecco Cross and is the most comfortable shoe available for me. I just wish Ecco could update the style while maintaining the same construction and style.

Very Comfortable and sturdy - I have owned 6 pairs of these shoes...they last and are very comfortable.

Ecco Cross - These shoes fit well with the exception of a very high arch support, almost to the point of being not only uncomfortable but very uncomfortable. This is especially noticeable in the left shoe. I like the shoe and it looks very good. I did think about sending them back at first but I needed the shoes and thought it would become more comfortable as they were broken in.

Favorite shoes - My original pair were wearing out, so I ordered a new pair. They are great shoes for the office and about town.

Great Shoe - Great looking shoe with good arch support. I had no break in time with these shoes.

My favorite shoes - These shoes offer me the fullest comfort I have ever experienced in shoes. On my recent three week tour of Croatia (in Europe), I took only one pair of shoes, my Ecco Cross shoes. They are great all purpose shoes

My husband loves these shoes. They are so comfortable. He wears nothing else.

Happy - I've worn this style for the past 5 years everyday to work- the same 2 pairs! - Alternating black and brown and only replacing the insole as needed. If you've ever worn cowboy boots, good ones, you know the feeling once you get them worn in- this a similar experience, only there is practically no adjustment time! Unquestionably the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned.
