Great shoe! My husband loves this shoe. We bought two (black and brown) and they are second pairs. We also tried the smooth toe model of this show, and he loves that one too.

Best hiking boot made - As Asst. Scoutmaster in our high adventure program, I like to challenge the oldest scouts. That means jog the last 3 miles of a 20 mile day hike. These boots fit like a glove. Last weekend my wife and I hiked the 15.5 mi.National Trail Trek up South Mtn. in Phoenix, AZ. The next day I was ready for the 10K run (in running shoes). You simply never tire in these boots. I've hiked in Danner, Wolverine, Merrill, Columbia and Rocky - all fine boots, but the Ecco becomes part of my foot. Blisters and fatigue are impossible. I'm 63, but feel half that age in these boots. Not cheap, but worth every penny.

Ecco Track II best shoe EVER! You can buy this shoe and the first day you wear it you can hike 10 miles without a blister. They are really nice looking and the exterior is soft not hard like some hiking boots. I am female and wear this boot but my husband wears the same boot also. I have the first pair I ever ordered from 10 years ago and they still look good. Everyone comments on what an attractive boot this is but truly it is even more comfortable. Enjoy!

These are the best boot ever! I bought my first pair in 2001, the sole wore thru just a little, but Ecco has a lifetime warranty, all I did was send them in their postpaid tyvek bag and wa la, they gave me a new pair!! Can you believe it, now I will have another 5 years! Thanks Zappos and Ecco!

Trap, Sporting Clays, Skeet...read on. With cold weather upon us here in New England, its time for fall/winter Skeet, Sporting Clays and Trap Leagues. Practicing for and competing in these sports all day, in various temperatures and weather conditions puts a lot of stress on your lower body. It’s great to have a comfortable, dry, stable and supportive platform to shoot from. These boots fit the bill, in spades. Allowing one to keep your mind where it needs to be, on the target. Ecco certainly has their own idea about sizing their products, hiking, golf, these boots, whatever. If you have to exchange them it’s worth the effort. And the Zappos Customer Support Team is the best, in the business. So they will help you through it. To me, they're good for at least one additional target. And you know that means a lot, when you hover at 96, 97!

Great Boot - Great boot, I have been wearing these boots for the last 5 or 6 years. The quality, fit and comfort are consistently high. Zappos has quick delivery and free return if not satisfied for any reason. I will definitely buy my next pair from them.

AWESOME!! Bought these boots 2 weeks before summiting Half Dome in Yosemite, the break in period was very brief and the boots kept my feet comfortable the entire way on my trip. Definitely would recommend.

Great Boots- If you have ever owned a pair of Eccos before, then you already know what it's like to slip these on. They will meet all your expectations for comfort, lightweight, casual look. These could very well be the only brand I ever buy again.

Ecco Shoes- My husband has been wearing these shoes for almost 9 years. He virtually lives in them. He's tried other shoes, but nothing compares to the overall comfort.

How to fix the d-rings from going cattywampus. I wore a pair for several years and set them aside when the d-rings kept turning sideways every time I wore them, thus abraiding the laces and preventing the laces being tightened properly or staying tightened. I finally used epoxy to permanently position the d-rings and I still enjoy wearing these very comfortable boots. A small amount of epoxy inserted in the leather d-ring loop with a small instrument such as a matchstick is sufficient.

I have bought 3 pair of these shoes, over 8 years. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever bought. The only gripe I have about them is the sole. They are very soft underneath and I wear them out quite quickly. I have sent in a pair to get resoled and they did not use the same sole as they originally came with.

A little nerdy... Ohhhhhhhhh so comfortable - These are going to look a little moccasin-like but are so comfortable, you're going to forgetaboutit. We just climbed Old Rag (in Shenandoah National Park) which is a highly technical climb -- and these were great for bouldering (including some chimney moves), steep uphill climbs, steep downhill climbs, and regular flat striding. As comfortable as a shoe (the most comfortable shoe on the planet) with all the amenities of a boot. Only gripe... after an 8.8 mile climb I tend to drag my feet (OK --I started dragging my feet at around mile 4) and the toe gets scuffed up without any rubber protection around the toe area. Don’t let this stop you – you too will become an evangelist if you buy these!

Really nice boot! I've been a fan of Dr. Martens boots for a long time. But after trying Ecco, I'm not so sure about the good Doc anymore. Though the Track II feels a little tight on the sides, they provide a lot of support and are really very nice once they break in. I've definitely found a new style of boot and I'm planning to pick up another pair in black very soon.

love these shoes! I purchased my first pair a little over 7 years ago, just before getting married and going to Europe on a walking focused honeymoon. We hiked all over Paris, the Cinque Terra, Portofino, and back to Paris. Once we got home, I wore them to work, for hiking, after surfing, and even on an impromptu 5 mile trail run. I've since worn through the sole, purchased a pair in black, and also bought 3 other models of Ecco.

My new boots - This is my second pair of these boots...they last a very long time considering what I put them through...I'm a general contractor here in Florida. You get what you pay for.

I Love Eccos! Not only are these comfortable, they don't set off metal detectors at security.

Best boot i've ever owned - I was skeptical when the salesperson at a shoe store recommended I try Ecco just to get a feel of the shoe. The moment I tried them on my skepticism disappeared and now I'm unwilling to wear anything else.

Best boots out there. This is the second time that I have purchased these boots from Zappos and they are great. The first pair lasted around two years of world travels. The boots are light weight and last forever. I have used them in all types of climates and they keep my feet dry no matter what area I am in. Great boots.

worn every day for six years - very comfortable ,I wear these shoes landscaping and they have lasted me six years and only now do I need to replace them so I went on the net hoping they had not stopped making them YEH!! I found them!!!

Ecco track II high - This is a great looking boot. However if you need good arch support then I don't reccomend these boots. I used them for work; where I stand a lot and walk about 5-7 miles a day. The arch support is terrible.
