Casual shoe-non dressy - My Ecco Seawalker Tie shoes are very comfortable and make walking short or long distances a pleasure. I couldn't find a good walking shoe in my 11A size. The Seawalker I purchased is a 10-10.5 medium. With the tie feature the heel fit tight and there is plenty of length. I wear these shoes almost everyday and all day with great comfort.

Comfortable and dressy enough - I have been looking for black shoes that I could use for either a party or a long walk. I'm a little overweight, so I need good cushioning and support. I'm very satisfied with these shoes.

SeaWalker Rocks - My husband is quite particular about his shoes. Support, comfort and looks are paramount, and he has enjoyed Ecco shoes for 10 years (ever since we traveled to Seattle and found ourselves searching for walking shoes!)The SeaWalkers are great in all the above respects. We also purchased, for the first time, the fiber insole which he finds very comfortable and supportive. I would recommend this shoe for anyone needing a non-dressy, well fitting shoe.

I like them, but the service was even better! My wife has been using Zappo's for several purchases this year, and has been beyond pleased. I was looking for a pair of comfort shoes for an upcoming trade show, ordered these and have worn them for a trial--they fit well, look great. But that does not tell the tale. It is the service you offer that makes the sale. I spent no time in traffic or shlepping thru the mall. I found a shoe I liked and had them in 2 days. I'm amazed, and will buy from Zappo's again!

Ecco Sea Walker Tie - It is an excellent shoe. Comfortable, sporty and durable. It is the best shoe that I have ever purchased.

Ecco rules. These are the best shoes I have ever owned. There is a huge difference in comfort and fit between Eccos and mere mortal shoes. I am usually very stingy when it comes to price, but these are worth every penny. In addition, Ecco has a free repair service if you send the shoe back to them. I also have a pair of Ecco dress shoes and they are great as well.

Excellent Shoe - I just wore these shoes for my first time...14 hour long day at work...on my feet....Awesome!! No break in...comfortable...I highly recomend them!! ZAPPOS is just as awesome...and telling all me friends!!

Creamy Comfort - Working as a nurse, I need comfort and that's what these shoes give.

You want comfort, get the Seawalker - I show dogs as a hobby and I am on my feet for hours, usually on concrete or a very hard floor. (Example: The Westminster Dog Show in NYC is an incredibly difficult dog show given the crowds, the indoor heat/humidity and the lack of chairs in the Benching Area. I don't leave home for this show without my SeaWalkers!) I also travel a lot for work (engineering consulting) and have logged many hours walking through airports and flying 6+ hour flights. I can wear these shoes for 16 hours and my feet never tire. These are really comfortable shoes. I have 3 pairs (Black and brown leather, and the brown suede) and have worn them for 4 years. I expect to have many more years of comfort.

Seawalker Tie experience - The Seawalker Tie I ordered approximately 4-6 wks ago has been my first experience and my local shoe repair man recommended I try them, as he believed the shoes represent value for money. The foot pain I had been experiencing, worse on the right than the left, has disappeared as I wear the shoes and walk daily between 2-3 hours a day. The comfort is remarkable yet the support I was obviously missing is present. The look of shoes is smart and these do not show scraps or dirt and the finish is water repellant. Conclusion: I will be ordering a second pair very soon to complement the first.

This is my second pair of Ecco's and I have not be able to replace them with another brand. They feel great and unfortuantely you can't get that at Wal-Mart. I have worn my first Ecco's for 2-3 years almost every day and they wear well. After heavy wear I recommend you use Armor-All once a month to get new look back.

ECCO Review - I have been waring this shoe for the past 6 years. I am a diabetic so shoe comfort is more than inportant. I have 3 pairs of this shoe in various stages of wear.

Excellent - The most comfortable walking shoes of all time.

I bought my first pair of Ecco shoes nearly 20 years ago. At the time money was an issue with my family. Naurally, I had to get a pair for my wife as well, so this was a major expense. For the first few days following my purchase, I regretted having spent that much money on two pairs of shoes...That is until they broke in and my wife and I realized simultaneously that these were the most comfortable shoes either one of us had ever owned. That particular pair lasted for approximately fifteen years. Actually they still had some wear in them; however, I tired of looking at them and gave them to charity. Since, my wife and I have bought many pairs of Ecco shoes, and have not been disappointed with any of them...with one exception. I found that the Ecco Cross simply did not fit me right? I now own five different pairs of Ecco shoes, and am delighted with each one. The Seawalkers are my favorite of any that I have owned to date. I am not particularly fascinated with the looks of the shoe; however, it is A-1 in terms of comfort and overall wearability. It is my considered opinion that it would earn a 5 star rating in every category if Ecco were to design the same shoe with a buckle instead of the lace. I know they have one in Europe; however, for some reason it is not available in the U.S.? Thanks for the opportunity to list my feeling concerning these great shoes. Jim A.

I got my first pair of Seawalkers 10 years ago while on assignment in Iowa. Just now the soles are to the place where I need to replace the shoes, had my puppy not gotten to them the uppers would be good for 10 more years. Will I buy again...Why do you think I'm online looking, not just for one pair, but two or three in different colors. They fit so wonderfully.

Good for a business casual office but as comfortable as a sneaker. I wear this with an orthotic insole.

I have worn Ecco Cross, Walker, and Seawalkers. The Seawalker is the latest addition. It is just as comfortable as the other shoes, as expected. However, the Seawalker did require a "break-in" period of about one week. I have a high arch and this time was required to loosen the fit in that area. I think the harder sole on this shoe will out last the other two. Time will tell. It is just as comfortable.

Really great shoe - I've had two pairs of Ecco Cross prior to the Seawalker. This shoe feels just a great. I have type 2 diabetes and having good fitting and comfortable shoes is a must. These Ecco shoes just fit the bill. My closet only has Ecco.

The big easy beats the big ugly - Ecco is known for quality and comfort. The Sea Walker is just that--fabulously comfortable and built magnificently. The shoe is clearly the work of craftsmen. I am a long-time Ecco lover and originally bought Ecco as a travel shoe. For airports and lots of walking, they are easy on the feet. I will wear them as long as that level of comfort is upheld, but the look of the shoe is dull. They may be ugly or at best uninspiring, but Ecco Sea Walkers give me what I want--comfort and top quality.

I have discovered Zappos and am very pleased! I got the impression that I probably need to be wearing a larger size. So with the no cost return policy of Zappos, I ordered the sea walker in a 46 rather than a 45 and I think I am going to be very happy with them. I also have gotten a pair of Receptors in size 46 and are very pleased with them!

I bought these shoes for work as they received glowing reviews. I'm very happy with them in all respects. Having to walk and stand on tile floors, I wanted a shoe that would offer more arch support and stability, the Seawalker Ties do that and more; my feet hurt much less at the end of a shift. They almost look too good to wear to work, but oh well.

Very comfy and great on hard surfaces. Quality seems to be very good. Overall Ecco Seawalkers feel like moccasins, but with the extra sturdy sole for long walks.

Beware! Buyer, beware. A pair of ECCOs will change your footwearing life forever! I can no longer wear any other shoe except ECCO. Feel confident that you can wear the shoes directly out of the box for any period of time. When I have to wear a more "formal" shoe, my feet feel the difference.

An outstanding shoe - I sufferd an accident and tried every shoe. Clarks, Rockport and many more, but this is the best-fitting. Like someone else wrote, I can walk again!
