Well padded slightly wide oxford - I got these to replace the same model shoes that were wearing out after about 5 years. My feet are a bit wider than D width in a lot of shoes, and I tried out the Ecco Cross, which were stated to be a bit wide. But I returned those both because of some pinching in the toes and because of the arch. The Cross has a very pronounced arch, reminding me of 1970s Earth and Root shoes. The SeaWalker arch is supportive but not so steep and fits my feet better. I also like the sole on the SeaWalker better than the Cross. SeaWalker soles are more like an athletic shoe; the Cross sole is more like tennis shoes. While I can imagine (and still hope for) an ideally comfortable and sturdy shoe, the SeaWalker is the closest I've been able to get so far. Thus five stars, with a downgrade to 4 stars on looks because of the laces. I liked the thicker laces that came on my last pair better than the ordinary street-shoe laces on the current model.

Got these Ecco shoes for my husband for Christmas--which I do every other year or so for him. This is a different style than I usually purchase, but the Ecco comfort is just as fabulous!!! He is as thrilled as usual! He is in sales and spends 10 hours a day on his feet--Ecco has provided foot comfort for years! Nothing compares. True to size!

I own two pair of these shoes and find them very comfortable; however, the soles of the shoes will start to fall apart for no apparent reason. I wore them on rare occasions with no wear showing on the sole but chunks of the soles started falling off of the shoes unexplainedly. Expensive for this type of thing to happen.

Ecco continues to make the most comfortable shoes at a very affordable price and these shoes are no exception. They fit well in the casual category. The look good at work and after work.

Both Zappos and the Ecco SeaWalker shoes are exactly as I wanted. Zappos is the only place I will purchase shoes...never been disappointed.

I have bi-lateral Achilles tendinitis issues, and it's very hard to find casual dress work shoes, let alone running shoes, that do not aggravate this condition. For example, I previously bought an expensive pair of Mephistos that made them worse, so for persons with Achilles issues, expensive doesn't always mean better unfortunately. Although they were not a shoe I would have choose first hand, the ECCO Seawalker Tie has been surprisingly comfortable (I like the minimal sole material below the heal and fore foot that seem to give as natural and low to the ground walking feel as possible). I also replaced the insoles with Superfeet blue (greens felt too thick), which makes them more comfortable overall in terms of standing or walking. I was not big at first on the Rust colored model, but actually like them very much now. One last note, I have narrow-ish and flat feet, and found these ECCOS size 45 fit me better than most shoes I've tried; I wouldn't go so far as to say they felt narrower than marked though, just better for my low-volume foot type.

Incredibly light for the quality. Glove leather lined and great support. As comfortable as a pair of slippers. My favorite shoe maker! The coffee brown are nubuck though and not brown leather!

This was a gift to my husband for Christmas, his request. He has a black pair and wanted a brown due to comfort and wearability for long periods of standing.

I fell in love with these shoes about 10 years ago. I have owned three pairs since then, each pair lasting about four years of daily wear, looking good and feeling great the whole time. They are outstanding quality, superb fit and feel, and amazing durability.

My go to every day shoe. Looks good, wears well and will stay in good condition for a long time. I have a small, wide foot ( men's 6 1/2 D to E) The euro size 40 fit great and it is really high quality. Of course Zappos is great, about the only shoe store I use.

I purchased a second pair in a different color 9 months after the first and wear them for business casual. I have a high arch and these support me well enough. I take a mens 6 on the verge of being wide and these are marketed as 5-5.5 medium and are roomy on me.

I have owned these shoes before and find them to be extremely comfortable and durable. I highly recommend them.

I am a teacher who is on his feet all day on floors that are tile over concrete. Other shoes including expensive athletic shoes left my feet sore and tired at the end of the day. My feet always feel fine at the end of the day wearing these shoes. They are the perfect balance of comfort and support. I have worn these for many years and they stand up to hard use. They are well worth the money paid.

This is my second pair. One for CA one for GA! Friend told me about them and they are great. I've had ECCO golf shoes for many years.

I have owned 4 pairs of this exact shoe over the past 12 years. They have held up very well and are very comfortable. I am buying another pair for fear they will stop making them.

Good looking and extremely comfortable and cusioney right out of the box. Great shoe.

I have 9 other pairs of Ecco shoes and really only bought these because of the color. They seem to fit true to size, but one thing I did notice is that they are a little stiffer than my other Eccos, meaning they might take a little time to break in. Other than that, the quality, like all of my other Eccos is great. I fully expect these to wear well. I just wish they were a little softer and not so stiff.

Excellent quality and fit, a true standard bearer for the Ecco brand. First pair still going after thirteen years (black) and one reconditioning from factory. This pair a good color change and comfort right out of the box.

I have been a chef for 35 years and have worn these shoes for the last 15 years. I wouldn't wear any other shoes. The soles are the most slip resistant that I have ever found. I've only replaced them about every 3rd year. They are great shoes.

After wearing this model in brown for almost six years (still in excellent shape including sole), it was a no-brainer when I needed to buy a casual pair of shoes in black.

I purchased these shoes from Zappos about two months ago based on reviews and online descriptions. I have not been disappointed. The shoes are stylish, extremely comfortable with good arch support and a wide toe box. They fit well with smart casual attire that I frequently wear to work or social events. I usually use an orthotic in shoes but have not found the need for the additional support in this product. I am extremely happy with these shoes and would recommend them strongly to a friend.

About 5 years ago I bought these shoes for my dad at Nordstrom. He had never worn a pair of shoes that approached this pricepoint and I did not let him know how much they were or he would have made me take them back. He loved these shoes and wore them every day. My mom said he finally need another pair and he wanted them no matter the price! That is a ringing endorsement. My husband has 2 pair and my brother-in-law and nephew also wear them. You can't go wrong with these.

I couldn't have been more pleased with the shoes or Zappos service and policies. So pleased I bought 2 more pairs of other footwear. I have had some trouble with ingrown toenails and the SeaWalker's generous toe box was not only very comfortable but also perfect for alleviating the conditions causing it. I am on my feet a lot as a dog trainer and have paid twice the price of these shoes for Mephisto's, but would rate this shoe as one of the best fitting and most comfortable pair I have ever owned. Way better than the Clarks I've worn, too. All my dogs are happy now. ;) The SeaWalkers clean up easy with a damp wipe and look great again in an instant, too. Now I'll just have to see how long they last, but still recommend them very highly from my experience so far.

It has become difficult to locate my husband's favorite shoe. Hooray for Zappos. They offered the shoe we needed and sent it so fast we had them in time for a special Father's Day gift. Thank you for the great service.
