These look good, but like everything else these days, I\'m disappointed with the quality. The inner seam that runs along the logo is raw on the inside, not stitched down, and there\'s a large flap of fabric that folds in half and rubs on the foot all along the instep. That said, I haven\'t purchased Vans in years and don\'t remember if this is the norm or not. Still we\'ll be returning them for the discomfort and potential for blisters.

You can only buy most colors in suede now and I'm not a fan at all. Not sure why they don't have a canvas option anymore. Also if you're buying woman sizes, go a half size down. Im an 8 in every shoe except vans.

I was really disappointed when I opened the box and the first thing I noticed was the four strips of white canvas along either side of the laces. I did not notice in the picture on the website when ordering, but it was all I could see on them in person. I thought I would get used to it, or maybe I could color it in with sharpie, so I did not return - because the shoes themselves are great, and I wanted them in all black. In hindsight I wish I did return them because I cannot wear them without being super annoyed at the white strips. Again, I thought I was getting a pair of ALL BLACK SHOES. WHY would they do this, I cannot comprehend. If I wanted white in them I would've bought the black with white stitching. But they are great shoes otherwise from this infuriating oversight in design. It's even more noticeable when you wear black pants with them :(

These aren't the old school Vans I remember. They are too thin in every way. Not bad shoes, but not for me.

These shoes fit good but are very slippery. I do not recommend them anytime the ground is wet.

I got a pair of old skool vans a few years ago and loved them. I could walk around a city for miles in them and not get any blisters. The redesigned style is much stiffer, especially in the heel. The first time I wore them I got terrible blisters on my heels and can only wear them for short periods before I get rub spots. I got the same size as before, but sadly these just aren't the same. I'd return them and get a larger size, but they've sadly been worn a bit too much to be returned.

I LOVE the look of this shoe but it is going to take some major time to break these in. My Achilles got rubbed raw in the first hour I had them on.
