Vans Old Skool Core classics - My son loves Vans but they are hard to find in his size (usually 15). He felt the shoes were a little bigger than other Vans he has had so he may exchange them for a size smaller. I am unsure about the arch support.

Love them!! This was my first Zappos order and I am very pleased with the Vans! The fit, look and comfort are exactly as I expected and I would highly recommend this shoe. However, this shoe does not have any arch support (which I like) so you may want to buy a 1/2 size larger and put an insole/support in it.

Old Skool Vans fit great, look great. The soles on these are a little thin. I would not wear these for a serious walk. Nice for casual wear that doesn't involve a lot of walking.

It lacked the cushioning I was looking for

The problem with this style of Vans is 1) it made my 8.5 feet look big and 2) it threatened to rub against my ankle.

Like all Van's, not a lot of padding on the inside, but they are cool!

Just bought my first pair of vans. They are alright, but they suck if you have to run. Also, the white sole gets dirty really fast. I wish I would've bought the mono-chrome style instead.

I had these same shoes (or something very close) when I was 16 years old. That was 23 years ago, and I love the style as much now as I did then. I slipped an aftermarket cushion insole in them and they are super comfortable.

I am on residential rooftops all day long. These stick great to shingles. They work okay on the metal roofs if the roofs aren't sandy/dirty and I walk on the screw heads. Plus, I'm the coolest looking guy you'll ever see on your roof.

Great shoe. Classic styling, light weight, comfortable. Can't go wrong with Vans. They run a little small, so I would recommend getting a half size larger.

Very comfortable and good looking shoe. Took a bit over two weeks to break in, but now they are amazing.

I love these shoes. Very comfy and true to size. Warm and cozy when its wet and cold outside. Not the best for long walks, though, but I love the look of these shoes. Great every day casual shoes.

The shoe is very comfortable, but it has little arch support if that is what you need. But they are nice shoes.

Not great shoes for people with narrow feet. If you like your shoes to fit tight, then you'll need to cinch up the laces all the way.

Great shoes if you have the right size. I wear a 10 but needed a 10 1\/2, so go bigger! Commfy and got some complimants.

Overall a great classic shoe and I got them in 2 days with regular ground shipping! Only bad thing is the top heel of the shoe is biting into my tendon causing blisters. Not sure if I just need to break them in more or it's just the way my foot is.

This shoe looks and feels great, I love it, however, it tends to break apart in about a year's time pretty consistently. I have bought 3 pairs of these shoes from Zappos in a 4 year period...They start off great, but in about 9 months you will begin to notice holes and tears, which soon grow to make your favorite shoe unwearable, unless you're OK with your socks showing (like a lot!). Degradation is especially fast if you live in an area with a wide range of weather conditions, i.e. extremes of heat (hot and humid) and cold (rain, snow). I just moved to Indiana and had to replace my May '09 pair with some Vans La Cripta Dos' in Feb '10, i.e. they only lasted 7 months here! I would recommend the Old Skool if you're OK with maybe buying them more than once a year or for light wear, that is, if you have other shoes to wear aside from them. I'm OK with buying them once a year, that's how much I like 'em, just wish they'd last longer I guess. The Cripta Dos' look to have tougher stitching and better overall construction, but we'll see...

Wow, super fast. I got upgraded to 2nd day air for no cost. Saw UPS at my house and was shocked at how fast that was. Shoe is great and fits like all my other vans. Normally don't order from Zappos but how can I not when other places take almost 2 weeks to ship and Zappos was 2 days. Thanks.

I love these shoes. They go great with everything. I've owned many different vans shoes, and this style is the only one i had a problem with. when i first got these shoes (the day after i ordered them, of coarse :D) i immediately tried them on, and they fit great! but when i went to the mall and walked around, i got the WORST blister on the back of my heels. it hurt a LOT. i put like three bandaids on each ankle. it still extremely hurt. so then i bought those cushions insert that stick to the heel part of your shoe, and the blisters healed, and they're the best shoe ever! that's the only problem i had. i wear a size 9.5-10 in mens, and 11-11.5 in women's. so i have a larger foot, but i don't think the size of your foot will contribute to whether or not you get blisters on your heels. overall, i love these shoes!

The shoes came very quickly, but were not quite what I was expecting. But, I do like them anyway. The size is a little snug so you might be better off ordering the next size up. Overall, I think I got a good product and service for my first time ordering from Zappos. I will again in the future.

This was not quite a unique experience for me because I have bought the same shoes since I was in the eighth grade and now I am a junior in college. These are very nice shoes and I have tried out many different colors. I have noticed that at the beginning you need to wear thicker socks because they can dig into your heels, but it goes away after two weeks. These are awesome shoes and the most comfortable of the Vans products when it comes to wide-feet people such as myself.

They are the same ol\' old skool Vans we all fell in love with years ago. They still are great today, I recommend these shoes. I like them. I remember having them over 10 years ago and glad I made the purchase again! And no animals hurt in making these great shoes!
