These shoes look great but I just don't understand how so many people tolerate the complete lack of arch support with these and other stylish sneakers like Chuck Taylors (which are even more uncomfortable than these in my experience). These are perfect for summer BBQ gatherings, going to the beach, and hanging out but if our plans involve walking more than 0.5 mile on concrete then I have to switch to New Balances. Again, these are very stylish and I love wearing them for that purpose, I just wish they were a bit more comfortable for long walks.

My first day wearing these sneakers, I got blisters and my feet hurt. But after I broke them in, I haven't had any trouble. The canvas might be stiff at first, hence the need to break them in. I like the thick sole and can walk around in them all day. Fits snug but still true to size, so don't order down.

Everything is great about these shoes. Just wanted to let everyone know that the "white" is more of an off-white. Or manila.

These are my standard shoes. I wear them almost every day and re-buy them every 4-6 months. They are pretty comfy (although they always hurt for the first week until you break them in). The quality is variable, I have has a few pairs where the fabric inside the heel ripped right away, but my current pair is lasting great. That said - they are my favorites and I will continue to buy them!

I'll never buy a pair of Chuck Taylor's again. These are much better looking and are more comfortable by a factor of 10. Plus with the addition of the brown outdoor or even leather laces they can be dressed way up and made a legit substitute for boat shoes! The only reason I didn't give them 5 star is because the white sole seems to be easily scuffed but that is is easily corrected with a gum eraser. Overall a solid purchase.

They're like the old classic Vans you wore in grade school. Don't expect to be walking miles in these and not have your feet hurt. There's not much to them. I ended up putting in some Spenco inserts in them to make them a little more comfy. I usually just wear them to work; I m a desk jockey, so being on my feet while wearing these isn't an issue. Mainly bought them for the style.

Standard Vans shoe. Looks stylish and is comfortable. My only problem with these Vans is that they start wearing fairly quickly. Holes start to form on the edge of the shoes. Probably not the best shoe to walk in.

I have never dealt with a company that has a customer service department that goes above and beyond when it comes to service.Continued success to Zappos I think you are the best!

The color was slightly darker than what I expected, but it still fit quite comfortably.

Perfect lightweight shoe for the summer! Writing this review more-so for Zappos. Ordered my shoes at 5pm EST thinking I missed the 4pm window for free next day delivery. Low and behold, my order shipped out at 2am and arrived at my doorstep by noon! ZAPPOS DOES IT AGAIN!

These are very sharp looking sneakers. They are true to size and I love them but for the fact that they are definitely not made for feet that are beyond normal width. There also isn't much padding in the bottom for support. I've solved this by using pads in the bottom and bunion pads. I do suggest though if you have a wide foot, it's probably best to pass these by unfortunately.

Pretty comfy shoes. The soles of the shoes are really thick and durable. They do bend in a way that makes the sides of the shoes detach in a way.

I love my Vans. Super cute and comfortable - greatest combo ever. I ordered mine a half size smaller than I usually wear and they fit perfectly. I buy all of my shoes from Zappos because you can't put a price on the highest quality customer service and convenience. Okay, maybe that's the greatest combo ever.

Shoes are comfortable. My sons have worn Vans to school for several years. One problem is the the lining of the shoes comes out, sometimes we have to glue it in. We have had about 8 pairs.

These shoes surprisingly lasted a long time. I've owned the Pro Classics Skateboard version too and these are comparable. The only problem was that I have flat feet and needed to put an insert into these to make them comfy and better for my feet. Other than that, no problemo!

These are nice comfortable shoes that can be dressed up or dressed down. I wear mine almost everyday. I had a slight problem with the first pair that I ordered, but I had no hassle returning it. I was also able to slip in my own inserts, so that added to the comfort for me.

Does that make any sense? You definitely can't wear these with skinny jeans in the fall/winter with your socks on without everyone seeing them. Nope, summertime only. Oh well, I'll tuck them away until next summer.

Comfy skate shoe, simple yet adequately stylish in the right manner.

The Vans Authentic Core Classics have good style and are super simple. Wear them to work, on the weekends, pushing the long board or whatever you have in mind. I wear them around without socks at times as well and my feet do not get hot and sweaty. As far as I'm concerned, you can't go wrong with these...they're a classic.

Awesome casual shoes when you just want to get up and go. Fits true to size. Switch out the laces to get an alternate look if you feel.

Exactly what I wanted and expected from a Vans Authentic. No better shoe for the money.
