They feel a little too small and make my heels blister. Should have gone up a half size.

there's a reason VANS are classics! great style, wear well. great for women for whom Keds are too narrow.

Ended up returning my original order for a full size smaller than I usually wear. Other than that no issues and and happy with the shoes.

Vans are NOT walking shoes - I got some blisters from walking around all day in them. This wasn't a surprise to me, though, because their main draw is the style, and they are very stylish; they'll go well with any pair of pants or shorts.

nice shoe goes well with everything. just buy a half size smaller, it has a similer fit to converse just more wider.

Stylish shoes, good for casual wear at work or play (Depending on where you work of course). I own multiple pairs of Vans and have always praised their comfort, but this particular pair may need some breaking in...Something in or around the top shoelace hole thus far, is digging into my foot as I walk. It's not a constant, consistent kind of thing, but it's not a passing irritation either?

The shoe is just what I need—and expected. My foot is hard to fit, and this time around I also had to accommodate ankle and foot braces. Though the shoe is great, the customer service was outstanding. This is the third pair I ordered. The first did not fit length or width. The support person worked with me to find another candidate. Unfortunately, it was too short—and didn’t come bigger. So another support person worked with me and we found these Vans. Each return was free, and the replacements were sent expedited delivery. 5 stars for customer service! My first Zappo’s experience, but not my last.

Stylish shoe. A bit narrow for people with wider feet, like me, but it was still wearable (but maybe not for all day though).

Vans are never meant to have arch support but even though they were a little big (as to be expected with unisex) the feel great and look great

They look great. The shoes do feel a little bigger than my feet. I slid my feet into the shoes, but there’s still a little room on the back of heels. The shoes will feel loose even though they’re tight enough, I think it’s great though so I can just slip these on if I don’t feel like tying my shoes. Overall, great look red color is in season.

It’s my staple shoe. I always keep a pair or two in my closet at all times, classic and timeless.

Love the style which is why I got 'em. I've been wanting all black with gum soles for a while. They're not the most comfortable but I guess I kind of expected that to an extent. First 9 or 10 times wearing them, they were pretty rough on my feet, particularly my pinky toe. But now that they're nicely broken in, I don't feel the same pain/discomfort. Now the main thing I notice is that they squeak quite a bit when I walk. Overall though, I'm happy with them. Cheers!

Yes. Just like the name and just like what everybody else that purchased these Vans say....these shoes are Classic. They are simple shoes. Not super flashy what so ever. But you know what they say.....sometimes the simple things in life are the best things in life.The only issue that I have with these shoes are that it seems that over the last couple of years they have not used enough or the propper adhesive where the rubber and canvas meet. Still though, that reason is not enough for me to not sport these legendary everyday shoes.

Just a good, everyday-shoe. I wouldn't recommend them if you are walking around for a while, such as visiting a theme park or at work, because there is virtually no cushion. They are very comfortable for casual where.

Having bought the Authentic Core Classics before I was disappointed to see that the collars were not padded like the last pair I had. Still a good shoe, but the extra support and comfort of the padded collars is something I will miss and will make me look for something different the next time I need shoes.

They're great shoes but not for the city or walking long distances.

Good quality shoe and a true to the Vans style. Be aware that these shoes are REALLY red - not a bad thing, but if you've got your monitor's brightness down you're in for a surprise when they arrive. Slightly narrow for the wider foot and not much arch support but they're lightweight and comfortable for normal wear and tear. Overall, a solid shoe.

Not the most supportive but good for some running around. A little narrow takes some time to break them in.

Cute, classic shoe, but too wide and bulky in unisex sizes

A woman's review: I really wanted to love these shoes. I still love my converses but I was looking for a similar shoe without holes on the sides. My Chucks keep getting filled with sand at the playground and I can never get all of the sand out of them. These have a sort of similar sole that will conform to my foot. My feet are happier if I save the strong arch support for hiking and long days on my feet. I love that the men's shoes have a bigger toe box that allow me to wiggle my toes but my narrow heels kept sliding out. The lower length of the tongue with the bigger width of the shoe doesn't hold my foot in as well.

Nice shoe, very comfortable and stylish. Shoe a bit on the narrow side so if your child wears a size 3.5 I would recommend that you purchase a size 4.

These shoes looks great and fit as expected. They may be slightly wider than average, particularly around the heel. This is not a complaint (because it's expected) but just be warned that these shoes offer very little in the way of support. I also find that it takes a week or two to break them in (during which they are not very comfortable).
